Abstract

Online consultation or better known as Telemedicine is a technological breakthrough that centered on medical subject, this activity used the internet as their communication media. One of the biggest market potential to promote the telemedicine is social media. This study discusses the influence and impact of surveillance, social interaction, information sharing, entertainment and social media richness towards purchase intention with brand equity as the mediation. The method used in this study is correlational quantitative method with 400 participating respondents and the questionnaire distribution is carried out with the Google Form as a data collection. The outcome of this study revealed that the relationship between surveillance, social interaction, information sharing, entertainment, social media richness and purchase intention with brand equity as the mediating role is significant and positive.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Pertama Swasta (SMPS) Kristen Tabqha Batam berada dibawah naungan Yayasan Komunitas Kasih Indonesia (YKKI) yang memiliki 122 siswa dan 111 siswi disertai dengan 12 tenaga pengajar. Namun, permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi ialah minimnya stok foto sehingga daya tarik yang dipublikasikan pada media sosial berkurang. Stok foto pada SMPS Kristen Tabqha Batam dikembangkan dengan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan penulis adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penulis menemukan bahwa stok foto yang berkualitas dapat memberikan kesan yang positif. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan oleh penulis untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah kaji lebih lanjut mengenai kualitas dari stok foto seperti resolusi dan pewarnaan dalam berbagai konteks.

Abstract

Currently (MSMEs) in the culinary sector are developing rapidly in Batam City. The right and effective marketing for MSMEs in the culinary sector currently is to use digital marketing methods. The aim of this practical work is to develop a digital marketing strategy for Mie Bagan Siapi-Api MSMEs. The methods used in this practical work are interviews and observation. The results of implementing strategies from making photo designs on Instagram and Facebook feeds, location points for Nagoya FoodCourt and Mitra2 branches on Google Maps, creating logos, and Canva training for MSME owners show that consumers are starting to be interested in Mie Bagan Siapi-Api MSMEs which can be seen from the existence of The positive influence given to MSMEs, such as increasing the number of followers on the MSME Instagram account, changing the feed on Instagram to be neater, positive reviews on Google Maps and the presence of Linktree in the Instagram bio .This is one of the studies that carries out digital marketing strategies for MSMEs in Batam City.

Abstract

Mandarin is currently significant in global commerce, particularly in the import sector, where it involves collaboration with Chinese trading partners. As one of the world’s leading exporters, proficiency in Mandarin is a key advantage for businesses aiming to broaden their market presence and ensure efficient import operations. This research aims to thoroughly examine how the function and role of the Mandarin language are utilized in the operational aspects of PT Anson Ratu Bakindo, including communication and negotiation processes, document management, and the maintenance of business relationships with Chinese suppliers. Through interviews and observations with the owner and employees at PT Anson Ratu Bakindo, it was found that the use of Mandarin directly enhances communication effectiveness, reduces language misunderstandings, and accelerates transaction processes. The results of this study indicate that if the company’s owner and purchasing department staff at PT Anson Ratu Bakindo possess fluent Mandarin language skills, daily operations can be conducted effectively without misunderstandings, such as incorrect types or quantities of delivered goods. Therefore, Mandarin language training for employees at PT Anson Ratu Bakindo, as well as recruiting staff with Mandarin proficiency, is recommended as part of the human resources development strategy and international business expansion. In conclusion, the Mandarin language not only serves as a medium of communication but also as a supporting factor for success in the import business.
