Abstract

This research is to detect the factors that impact the purchase intention of “Halal” food and drink product consumer in Batam City. The Independent variables are Subjective Norm, Religiousity, Product Quality, Attitude as intervening variable and the dependent variable is Purchase intention. This research exploit consumer that look forward to buy “Halal” food and drink product ABC, Nestle, NESCAFE, and other brands. The adopted data was 330. Purposive Sampling was used as sampling method in this research, conclude there was a positive significant effect between the Subjective Norm, Religiousity, Product Quality and Attitude on Purchase Intention.

Abstract

Theory of planned behavior (TPB) consisting of personal attitude, subjective norms and perceived behaviour control are the model study about the relation of intention and behaviour. In order to expand TPB, entrepreneurial passion variabel is inserted, which is emotion effected to entrepreneur behaviour. In this research by adding predictor variabel in TPB, it is expected to enrich the explanation of entrepreneurial intention.The object of this research is entrepreneur in Indonesia. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling methode. This research uses primary data, the result of data collection using a questionnaire.  The collected data had been processed using SPSS software version 24.0. Hypothesis testing analysis uses linear regression and path analysis.The result of the research is entrepreneurial passion significantly and positevely affected entrepreneurial intention. In TPB, each construc effects entrepreneurial intention differently. Personal attitude and perceived behavioral control effect entrepreneurial intention significantly and positevely, while subjective norm affect significantly and negatively. Regarding intervening variable, personal attitude and perceived behavioral control has succesfully became intervenig variable between entrepreneurial passion and entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

In general, there are still some MSMEs that use social media only as a medium for posting photos, without further study in using social media. The purpose of carrying out community service activities is to help Grind Now Slow Bar SMEs who are facing problems such as the lack of people in Batam City knowing the location of the cafe and lack of time in making videos and designs to promote their products. Then, these MSMEs need a promotion strategy in digital marketing through advertising on Instagram social media, and e-commerce such as Gofood and Grab food. The results of these activities are to increase visitors increase followers from Instagram social media and increase turnover in these SMEs. Therefore, the author advises MSME owners to continue to improve and develop digital marketing so that it continues to grow.

Abstract

Racism is a type of discrimination against someone based on their race or it could be their ethnicity. Racism happens often because of the differences that we have between us, especially caused by physical appearance, since the race is also deeply related to physical appearance and also, in fact, based in Sociology, three main races in this world are divided into three, each characterized by their own skin color. The goal of this program is to educate society especially the young generations through Podcast media. The effect that we hope we can give with this program is the pluralism harmonization in the society of Indonesia, in the hope to materialize the third Pancasila precept which is the unity of Indonesia. With the unity in the society, Indonesia is a multicultural country that can focus to move forward together, just like the saying, united we stand, divided we fall.

Abstract

Provinsi Kepulauan Riau memiliki cukup banyak daerah yang belum tersentuh oleh kemajuan teknologi, salah satunya adalah desa Sembulang. masyarakat umum bahkan di wilayah Kepri sendiri, Sembulang memiliki predikat sebagai desa sejarah dan termasuk desa wisata di Kecamatan Galang. Potensi wisata tidak hanya dari terbatas pada wisata alam saja namun juga wisata yang memperkenalkan kemampuan warga disana seperti makanan khas sembulang yang sebenarnya sudah dipasarkan di Batam namun tidak banyak yang mengetahui asal daerahnya. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan melalui kegiatan observasi ke Sembulang, pemetaan data potensi wisata Sembulang, wawancara, perancangan website promosi, produksi video marketing sesuai tema, hingga proses pendampingan serta pelatihan khusus mengenai marketing di sosial media oleh mitra. Hasil dari program ini membantu mitra dalam meningkatkan nilai desa sembulang menjadi salah satu tempat wisata, menghasilkan suatu website untuk mengenalkan Sembulang pada dunia, menghasilkan video untuk promosi desa dan potensi wisatanya.

Abstract

Sejak pandemi berlangsung, penggunaan teknologi seperti sosial media semakin meningkat dan mengharuskan para pebisnis kecil seperti UMKM untuk turut beradaptasi ke sistem penjualan online yang melibatkan teknologi. UMKM Batagor Kahiji sadar akan pentingnya hal tersebut dan sudah menerapkan konsep penjualan online, salah satunya dengan aktif bersosial media. Hal inilah yang menjadi tantangan UMKM Batagor Kahiji dikarenakan tampilan sosial media kini telah menjadi ‘first impression’ para pengguna sosial media terhadap sebuah UMKM maka sangatlah penting untuk memiliki tampilan sosial media yang menarik dan bermutu untuk membangun brand image yang baik. Oleh karena itu, tim penulis akan mengimplementasikan proyek content planning sekaligus pemasaran online melalui influencer untuk membangun brand image UMKM yang lebih baik, serta beberapa program implementasi lainnya. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan UMKM Batagor Kahiji mengalami perubahan yang progresif terbukti dari kenaikan followers dan keseluruhan aspek dari layanan Instagram, peningkatan brand image dan brand awareness masyarakat dengan hadirnya banyak konsumen baru, bahkan peningkatan omset penjualan pada bulan Juli ini padahal UMKM Batagor Kahiji sempat tidak berjualan selama 2 minggu di awal perode implementasi. Hal ini adalah pertanda baik bahwa UMKM Batagor Kahiji masih dapat berkembang lebih baik dengan mengimplementasikan kembali pengalaman dan ilmu yang telah diperoleh dari pelaksanaan proyek ini seperti kembali melakukan endorsement kepada influencer yang sesuai dan pembuatan konten (social media management) yang lebih menarik dan bemutu

Abstract

Tepat di penghujung tahun 2019, dunia dikejutkan dengan fenomena wabah Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19). Di Indonesia wabah ini masih minim perhatian oleh sebagian masyarakat untuk mencegah penyebaran lebih lanjut yaitu dengan memperketat protokol kesehatan. Kurangnya penerapan protokol kesehatan yang melatarbelakangi penulis untuk mengedukasikan lebih dalam kepada masyarakat Salon Novena tentang protokol kesehatan. Metode yang kami gunakan untuk pelaksanaan ini ada dua yaitu dengan Pendidikan Masyarakat dengan pergi ke lokasi pelaksanaan dan menjelaskan kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya penerapan protokol kesehatan yang lebih dalam.Kegiatan pengabian kepada masyarakat ini sangat penting karena banyak masyarakat masih minim denga pengetahuan tentang virus Covid-19 ini,dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat diharapkan kepada masyarakat bisa lebih tahu tentang virus Covid-19 yang berbahaya ini dan cara pencegahannya dengan protokol kesehatan yang baik dan ketat. Hasil dari pelaksanaan ini berhasil karena masyarakat Salon Novena telah menerapkan protokol kesehatan yang lebih baik dan bisa mencegah penularan wabah covid-19, Salon novena dapat menerapkan protokol 5M; Mencuci tangan, Memakai masker, Menjaga jaarak, Menjauhi kerumunan, Menjaga mobilitas, kami juga memberikan edukasi bagaimana sikap kita untuk menghadapi Coronavirus Disease-2019 secara ilmiah.

Abstract

Online shopping has been really familiar for both public and smarthone users. Recent phenomenon has showed us a much-helpful simple way in providing customers’ needs and consumption during Covid-19 pandemic. The limited space caused by the condition has made consumers shift towards instant online shopping. The customers’ changing behaviour forces business sector to adjust and fulfil customer’s need and desires. This research is implemented by using judgemental sampling method, which includes millennial generation as users on instant shopping. The amount of population is unknown, while the sample calculation is 1:10 of each questionnaire statement. Partial least square is also used in this research as analysis method, by also using SmartPLS 3.0. The result gave an analysis and found a slight change of customer’s behaviour, especially in using Instagram account as an instant shopping alternative which supports recent situation. This could also be next suggestion for further development after Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social media marketing on purchase intention, as well as the relationship with brand awareness, brand image, and e-wom in the Batam City hospitality industry. The dependent variable in this study is purchase intention. The independent variables consist of social media marketing, brand image, e-wom and brand awareness. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. There are 2 types of data used in this study, namely primary data which is data received by researchers through the distribution of questionnaires to be processed. While secondary data is data collected through research articles, scientific journals, and others to meet research needs. The results showed that social media marketing variables had a significant positive effect on purchase intention, brand awareness, brand image and e-wom. The variables of e-wom, brand awareness, brand image, and social media marketing have a significant positive effect on purchase intention. Social media marketing variables have a significant positive effect on purchase intention through mediation of brand image, brand awareness and e-wom.

Abstract

The arrival of the COVID-19 Pandemic has caused the public to put more emphasis on their health, nutrition, and immunity to defend against contracting the virus. However, existing limitations over certain activities has directly affected financial conditions of the public; therefore, making them more inclined to order food using online services that are more often than not unhealthy. This is apparent in one study about the food consumption of teens during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Surabaya that shows 57% of 100 teens buy and purchase street food as much as three times in one day since the pandemic started. In addition to that, the public has found difficulty in engaging in physical activities outside their homes, hence the combination of the two increases the risk of deteriorating immunity and obesity. From that emerged the idea for the healthy snack business SweetPomo that can be the solution for this very problem. SeetPomo is an organic business idea with attainable price that makes use of sweet potatoes as its main ingredient. The purpose of SweetPomo of this business is to improve nutrition intake and help the public in lessening their unhealthy food consumption. The methods implemented are project execution and qualitative research where acquired data are secondary in nature in the form of articles, e-jounrals, and other publications in various sites. The result of this research depicts the plans and concepts of SweetPomo.
