Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the principal's management strategy in dealing with teacher work stress. The research method using qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research uses observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to gather the data. Research subjects are the principal and teachers of Faza Islamic Elementary School Palembang. The results of research showed that the principal can implement three strategies in dealing with teacher work stress, so it does not interfere with teacher performance, the comfort of students, and does not hinder the school to achieve its goals. The strategies applied by the principal are 1) recognizing the symptom of teacher work stress, 2) identifying the emergence of work stress, 3) solve the problem as a result of work stress, then the principal deal with teacher work stress. This problem solving consist of three approaches, 1) through a personal approach, 2) a religious approach, 3) an official approach.

Abstract

Abstract

Secara umum, hutan-hutan yang telah terfragmentasi menjadi hutan-hutan yang berukuran kecil akan terisolasi karena terciptanya barrier ekologi. Ukuran hutan yang kecil hanya dapat mendukung jumlah spesies tertentu seperti pada Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) Gunung Tumpa H. V. Worang. Pada kondisi yang demikian, jumlah spesies yang ada akan rentan mengalami kepunahan secara lokal dan proses suksesinya akan dapat berjalan dengan lambat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut perlunya penelitian tentang identifikasi komunitas tumbuhan dan perubahan jenis pada tiap tahap suksesi di Tahura Gunung Tumpa H. V. Worang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis tumbuhan pada areal hutan yang berstrata A, B, C, D, dan E. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui perubahan jenis pada tiap tahap suksesi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Random Sampling dengan membuat 15 plot yang dibagi menjadi 3 plot pada setiap area yang berstratum A - E, B - E, C - E, D - E, dan E Terdapat 1038 individu dengan 70 jenis tumbuhan yang termasuk dalam 36 famili. Pada stratum A - E ditemukan sebanyak 2 jenis dengan 464 individu, stratum B - E sebanyak 5 jenis dengan 193 individu, stratum C - E sebanyak 41 dengan 140 individu, stratum D - E sebanyak 28 dengan 114 dan stratum E sebanyak 26 jenis dengan 127 individu. Perubahan jenis pada tiap tahap suksesi memiliki perubahan jenis yang signifikan dimana setiap strata terdapat jenis tumbuhan yang berbeda.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a writing (kitabah) learning media based on a game using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) to enhance Arabic writing skills at Pondok Pesantren Raudhatus Sakinah, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall model approach. The research subjects include 14 eighth-grade students and the Arabic language teacher at the pesantren. Data collection techniques involved questionnaires, tests, as well as interviews and observations. Quantitative data was gathered through pre-tests and post-tests to measure students' writing improvements after using the learning media, while qualitative data was obtained from interviews with teachers and observations during the media usage. Data analysis techniques included quantitative analysis using the Wilcoxon test to examine significant differences between pre-test and post-test scores, and qualitative analysis using the Miles and Huberman model to reduce, display, and draw conclusions from the collected data. The results show that the SAC-based learning media is valid according to assessments from content and media experts, and there is a significant improvement in students' writing skills after using the media, with the Wilcoxon test showing a significance value of less than 0.05. The implications of this research indicate that SAC-based game media can serve as an effective alternative to improve Arabic writing skills in pesantren, as well as provide prospects for further development of interactive learning media in other educational institutions.
