Abstract

The learning model is essentially implemented based on the needs experienced by the students. The application of the cooperative learning model, specifically the STAD type, can ease a teacher in carrying out the process. This research aims to explore the implementation of the STAD-type cooperative learning model in Social Studies (IPS) subjects at MTs Al-Islam Joresan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, focusing on the application of the STAD-type cooperative learning model in the Social Studies (IPS) subject at MTs Al-Islam Joresan. The results of the study show that the implementation of the STAD-type cooperative learning model in the Social Studies (IPS) subject at MTs Al-Islam Joresan is very easy to apply. Secondly, the benefits of implementing this model are numerous, including training collaboration, improving understanding, increasing learning motivation, fostering interaction, and practicing speaking skills during presentations

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the complexity of brand equity and formulate a managerial repositioning model for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Darussalam Pikatan as a private Islamic primary education institution operating in the competitive education arena in the Blitar region. This study uses a mixed methods approach with a parallel convergent design, integrating qualitative data (in-depth interviews, observations, document studies, and focus group discussions) and quantitative data (parent perception surveys). The results of the study indicate that MI Darussalam Pikatan is in a position of being stuck in the middle, squeezed between MIN 14 Blitar, which has state-based legitimacy, and SDI Hasyim Asy’ari, which is strong in symbolic capital and religious community ties. Through perceptual mapping analysis and SWOT-TOWS synthesis, this study identified a managerial repositioning model that emphasizes building alternative legitimacy based on measurable performance and Islamic character education that is contextual, inclusive, and modern. This model positions brand equity not merely as a marketing tool, but as a strategic management framework that integrates signature programs, the enhancement of academic and character quality, evidence-based communication, and the strengthening of the parent community. The novelty of this research lies in the formulation of the repositioning of Islamic educational institutions, which shifts from reliance on structural or charismatic legitimacy to performance-based and contextually relevant legitimacy. Conceptually, these findings contribute to the development of Islamic education management by emphasizing that the competitiveness of madrasahs can be built through the integration of Islamic values with modern managerial strategies that are adaptive to the dynamics of the education market.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi dan dinamika pendekatan komprehensif berbasis sekolah (Whole School Approach) dalam menangani krisis bullying di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar Terpadu. Studi kasus intrinsik kualitatif ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Islam Srengat, dengan fokus pada sinergi tripartit antara siswa, guru, dan orang tua. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan studi dokumen, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Temuan penelitian mengungkap bahwa implementasi pendekatan ini menghadapi tantangan kompleks di setiap pilar. Pada pilar siswa, meskipun program peer support dan duta anti-bullying berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran, efektivitasnya dibatasi oleh dinamika kelompok sebaya yang eksklusif dan hierarkis. Pada pilar guru, terdapat kesenjangan antara peran ideal sebagai pendeteksi dini dan fasilitator restoratif dengan realitas beban kerja administratif dan tekanan kurikulum yang padat. Sementara itu, pada pilar orang tua, tantangan utama terletak pada jurang persepsi yang menormalisasi bullying serta komunikasi yang bersifat reaktif dan satu arah. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Whole School Approach merupakan kerangka yang valid dan diperlukan untuk transformasi iklim sekolah yang lebih aman. Namun, keberhasilannya mensyaratkan implementasi yang kontekstual, dukungan struktural bagi guru, pembangunan kemitraan yang autentik dengan orang tua, serta komitmen berkelanjutan untuk menginstitusionalisasikan program. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada peta jalan operasional bagi praktisi dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merespons krisis bullying secara holistik dan berkelanjutan di jenjang pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Basic education in rural areas still faces significant challenges related to low student literacy and numeracy skills, as well as minimal parental participation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of community empowerment through the "Trisinergi" model (school, family, and community) in supporting quality basic education in Pikatan Village. Using a qualitative approach with the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, this study involves teachers, parents, and community leaders as subjects of empowerment. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that interventions in the form of strengthening teachers' pedagogical capacity and providing parenting education successfully increased parental involvement by 60% and the effectiveness of teaching strategies by 62.5%. The direct impact of this synergy was an increase in students' literacy skills by 44.4% and numeracy by 38.7%. This study concludes that the utilization of social capital and the integration of roles between the three educational pillars are key factors in creating an inclusive, independent, and sustainable educational ecosystem at the village level.
