Abstract

In addition to adding ferrite beads to the ignition coil, this study attempts to examine the effects of different spark plugs and ignition coils. Ferrite beads are employed to mitigate electrical noise and enhance electrical efficiency. This research facilitates the examination of engine performance and exhaust emissions, thereby offering insight into the combustion process within the combustion chamber. This study used a 4-stroke Otto engine with a displacement of 110 cc, powered by RON 92 gasoline. We utilize three types of spark plugs: Denso U22FS-U, NGK 14 mm, and Iridium IU27. Two varieties of ignition coils are employed: PCX 150 and COL9001, supplemented by ferrite beads. Dynotes are utilized to assess engine performance, while gas analyzers are employed to evaluate exhaust pollutants. The criteria examined for engine performance include torque and power, while exhaust emission parameters consist of CO, CO2, O2, and HC. The findings indicate that the NGK 14-mm spark plug, when paired with a COL9001 ignition coil and supplemented with a ferrite bead, achieves a peak torque of 7.67 Nm at 6514.42 rpm and a maximum power output of 5.73 kW at 72813.93 rpm. This setup yields minimal emissions and favorable fuel consumption when it is implemented. This study's findings offer significant insights and references for tactics including spark plugs, ignition coils, and ferrite beads.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know whether Matching Game gives the impact or not in teaching conditional sentence at SMK Takhassus Al-Qur’an Wonosobo. The method used was classroom action research (CAR) by using qualitative and quantitative approach. The researcher used pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II to find the data. T-test was used to analyze it. Having analyzed the data, the researcher revealed that the student’s understanding in cycle II was higher than pre-cycle and cycle I. There was positive impact in teaching conditional sentence using Matching Game at SMK Takhassus Al-Qur’an Wonosobo. The T-test result was 10.8 and T-table in degree of freedom 33 at the significant 0.05 was 2.034. The hypothesis was accepted because T-test was higher than T-table. It means that Matching Game is effective for teaching conditional sentence.

Abstract

Vocabulary is one of the elements to master, and this is important. Based on some difficulties in learning English, especially to improve vocabulary. Teachers must be able to find creative and effective ways to teach vocabulary to their students. This study aims to determine the efficacy of the repetition drill method by using Duolingo application to increase vocabulary in seventh grade in MTs Al-Huda Reban. This study employs a quantitative methodology. The study will employ an experimental design and involve two classes, each class consisting four meetings. One class studied English by using technique of repetition drill with Duolingo application and one class without this technique. It can be seen, the experimental class scored 80,54, whereas the controlled class scored 74,46. The two hypotheses are accepted (H1) and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected (T-test result), as the significant value (2-tailed) 0,006 is less than alpha = 0,05. Based on the outcomes of the N-Gain computation, the average value of 55.0822 falls into the moderately effective category. Thus, it can be said that using the Duolingo application and the repetition drill approach is a useful way to increase vocabulary.

Abstract

Vocabulary mastery plays a vital role in supporting students' language skills, especially in English learning at the elementary school level. However, many students still struggle with memorizing and understanding English vocabulary due to monotonous and conventional teaching methods. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using English songs as a teaching medium to improve students’ vocabulary mastery and learning motivation. It employed a quasi-experimental design with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design involving all fifth-grade students of MI Ma’arif Surengede Kertek in the academic year 2024/2025, using total sampling technique. The experimental class was taught using several English songs by DJ Raphi, such as Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes, Move It, Superstar, and If You're Happy and You Know it, while the control class was taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through vocabulary tests and observation sheets, then analyzed using SPSS Statistics 25 covering validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test. The analysis results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group’s post-test scores compared to both their pre-test scores and the control group’s scores, confirming that the use of English songs effectively enhances students’ vocabulary mastery and learning motivation, with statistical tests.
