Abstract

Industrial developments and environmental problems encourage decision-makers to determine optimal decisions. In addition, transportation is an aspect that has a significant contribution to environmental damage. Therefore, inventory and transportation decisions need to be integrated to minimize environmental problems. This study made an effort to develop a model of Sustainable EOQ with Multi Container Transportation Problems. The optimal procedure was proposed to determine the optimal number of containers in one vehicle. The results suggested that the proposed procedure could minimize the total annual inventory cost compared to the company's current solution.

Abstract

In today's competitive business world, organizations are striving to improve their operations and stay ahead. Lean Six Sigma is a popular approach that helps optimize processes and reduce waste. This research focuses on using Lean Six Sigma and TRIZ together to reduce waste in the shuttlecock industry. The study uses a structured process and tools like Value Stream Mapping and Fault Tree Analysis to find and solve waste issues. The results show problems like unnecessary activities, delays, and defects in the production process. Using TRIZ, suggestions for improvements are made based on the analysis. This study shows that combining Lean Six Sigma and TRIZ can effectively reduce waste and improve processes. The findings add to our understanding of using these methods in the shuttlecock industry and offer insights for future research and improvements.

Abstract

This activity is expected to accelerate the development of business scale through more effective cost management and marketing strategies Research methodology: A participatory approach was implemented, involving several stages: initial knowledge assessment, socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Pre- and post-test evaluations were conducted and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to measure improvements in participants' understanding and skills. Results: The study found significant improvements in participants' abilities to manage cash flow, maintain structured financial records, and design appealing product packaging. Conclusions: This program positively contributes to community empowerment by strengthening local resource-based economic skills and enabling the sustainable development of a citrus waste briquette business. Limitations: This study is limited to a single village and target group, so application in other areas may require contextual adjustments Contribution: This study is beneficial for community empowerment, micro-financial management, and small business marketing and can serve as a reference for similar programs in other communities.
