Abstract

Productivity is very important for the company as a way to monitor the production performance. Productivity measurement is performed to determine the level of productivity performance of the company and can be used as guideline for continuous improvement. Similarly, the environmental aspect has become an important and strategic issues that must be addressed by the industry well and improved its performance continuously. In order to improve productivity while lowering environmental impact the company need to use Green Productivity model approach. The purposes of this research were to identify factors that affect productivity and environmental performance, as well as providing proposed improvement using Green Productivity method based on the highest value of the Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) index. The results showed that the factors that affect productivity and environmental performance are the boiler performance and the wastewater treatment. Therefore to overcome these problems, it was needed an improvement alternative. The improvement alternative proposed were to install Heat Exchanger and DAF (Dissoveled Air Floatation). From the estimated contribution, the chosen alternative could provide a significant increase in the productivity index of boiler at 103.64% better than the initial condition and productivity index of oil waste by 104.18% better than the initial condition, also there were decreased level of CO level at 0.19 and 0.17 for oil and fat.

Abstract

The research of application of electroplating technology testing at pandai Besi product as means to increase of quality and competitiveness had done, this research aimed to make reparation of production process and to applied electroplating technology in finishing process, until can adding to decorative properties and resistence of corrosion at product and to determine cost addition because that treatment.

Abstract

The establishment of production unit requires fairly high investment, therefore to avoid the investment connducted which in fact will be unprofitable in the future, before implementing such investment, the comprehensive analysis or feasibility study is required, concerning marketing, technical financial management, and social-economyn alysis.From the result of feasibilitiy studythe level of feasibility for the establishment of production or business units is determined. In this case study, the subject of study is production of essential oil that serves as raw material for food, pharmacy, and parfume manufactures. Based on the analysis result of market and marketing aspects, as well as technical and Technology aspects, it was  ndicated that the proposal of production unitestablishment feasible to beaccepted. Likewise, the result of financial analysis with the methods of Net present value, Profitability Index(B /C ratio), Internal Rate of Return and payback period,indicated that the proposal of production unitestablishmeint is feasibleto be accepted.

Abstract

This Final duty produce design model distribution system for the finished of problems of product distibution stream. Method which used in system model is method of Crossdocking. Crossdocking used as by method to schedule delivery of product. Ther€ is two step scheduling of delivery, first of scheduling of delivery of factory Sales Center and both scheduling of shipping ofsales Center - outlet. Crossdocking repr€sent distribution melhod as a mean to minimize of is expense of supply, Crossdocking applied by functioned Sales Centar as facility of Crossdock, where at its distribution process of product sent from factory to outlet pass Sales Center without passing inventory storage process. Scheduling of first phase cover amounl, time, target of delivery, and used vehicle. By the end of this system device done by calculation of safety stock as anticipation to avoid stock out to demand of final consumer. Of device model this Crossdockingc an be yielded decrease of inventoryl evel in Sales Center, and decrease of transportation cost from factory to Sales Center.

Abstract

Waste has a negative impact on the environment. Hospital medical waste is a hazardous waste for the environment. Environmental performance measurement systems are used to measure the performance of hospitals in handling waste. The measurement of its environmental performance in the hospital is expected to provide improved sewage treatment systems. AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and OMAX (Objactive Matrix) methods are used to design environmental performance systems at hospitals. The data needed is medical and non medical treatment. Data were collected using pairwise comparison questionnaires. The questionnaire data shows the importance of key environmental performance indicators (KEPI). Results of questionnaires processed using Expert Choice. Expert Choice's output produces weight and consistency ratio. Weighted KEPI results are processed by OMAX method. The OMAX method is used to determine the value of environmental performance. There 41 KEPI aspects of the environment. Based on the results of the environmental performance assessment, liquid waste has the highest weight of 0.229.

Abstract

Elizabeth Hospital of Situbondo represent one of the some hospital exist in Sub-province of Situbondo. With condition of like this is existing hospital have to show maximal performance and can give best service to society so that can become hospital society choice. Beside give service of health, as a hospital unit also have compulsion to always ever take care of the continuity of its life, even the including all existing shares or unit to expand in an optimal fashion. With condition of above, hence company in this case RS. Elizabeth Situbondo can become company of which can exploit system measurement of performance by using method of balanced scorecard to increase company performance on an ongoing basis so that can give required service consumer swiftly is, effective, inwrought, and professional. At this research of concept which is used in designing system measurement of performance balanced scorecard. As for in perspective which used in this research cover five in perpective that is finance, cutomer or client, internal business process, study and growth, and benefit to society. From this in perpective fifth is later then developed to become performance indicators able to be measured to utilize to know level attainment of Hospital performance. Pursuant to determination of performance indicator is later then conducted measurement by using ill obtained datas from home every its indicator, this measurement use objective matrix (OMAX), where hospital periodical can do planning and control to attainment of performance. In measurement use OMAX, included also wight element of each measured indicator, where in determination of wight every the indicator use analytical hierarchy process ( AHP). In measurement of in perpective fifth conducted performance yield 23 indicator. Result of performance measurement in 2007, index attainment of performance equal to 6,616.

Abstract

Regional Water Company (PDAM) Lamongan is a local company with main activity is to serve and provide clean water to communities through a system of pipes. Constraint occurs is in the process of drinking water treatment and wastewater sludge yield potential as a source of environmental pollution. Another problem is still limited because of PDAM services in 2013 is only capable of serving 4.7% of the total number of households (BPS population census of 2010). Taps need to increase the amount of water production in order to serve the wider community Lamongan. The concept of green productivity (GP) can be used in the search for solutions to increase productivity and protect the environment. The study begins by identifying the root cause of a lot of liquid waste and a low amount of water production, setting objectives and targets, choosing the resources and information available to arrange alternative green productivity. There are two alternatives, the selected alternative in this study are alternative 2 merge maximizing the raw water intake (pipe repair, purchase and installation of the intake screen 2 pump intake of government), Repair IPA II, and the use of wastewater that is the use of waste as material raw returned by first applying multilevel aeration technology to reduce levels of COD and BOD5 in wastewater. The productivity of the company in the first year after implementation of the selected alternative to 123%, an increase of 14% compared to the year 2013 and the total value of the EPI index to 18.35 or increased 42.65, which means it meets effluent standards wastewater East Java Governor Regulation No. 72 of 2013. In addition the production of water PDAM also increased 69.8% over the previous year.

Abstract

Peranan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM} dalam menunjang pembangunandaerah adalah sangat besar. Untuk itu, pemberdayaan UKM termasuk para pengrajinPembuatan Asbes haruslah terus dilakukan yaitu dengan cara penerapan teknologi, baikteknologi proses maupun desain produk, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas, kualitasdan daya saingnya.Teknologi Proses yang digunakan oleh para pembuatan Asbes selama ini masihkonvensional secara turun temurun, demikian pula desainnya belum borientasi padapasar, sehingga kualitas produk yang dihasilkan tidak mampu bersaing terutama denganproduk sejenis yang dihasilkan oleh industri yang sudah rnenggunakan teknologimodern.Pemilihan Pembuatan Asbes "Internit MIKO" sebagai lokasi kegiatan pengabdiankarena dilihat dari posisi dan tempat yang strategis untuk pengembangan usaha di masayang akan datang. Hal inilah yang mendorong diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian untukpengembangan produk Asbes tersebut agar menjadi lebih maju dan mapan. Harapanlebih jauh lagi bisa menjadi perusahaan yang menghasilkan produk Asbes yang mempunyaikualitas yang baik.Dari hasil monitoring terhadap keberhasilan penerapan Iptek terlihat bahwa telahada peningkatan, misalnya pengrajin sudah mampu memilih alternative pengganti bahanbaku yang baik, melakukan urutan proses produksi dengan benar, memperkirakancampuran serat kelapa dengan arah serat dengan baik sehingga bahan baku tidak sampaiberlebih, dan ada peningkatan dalam memilih bahan alternatifselain kain. Peningkatanketahanan banding produk hasil penerapan Iptek dengan sebelumnya yaitu sebesar2,5%. Dalam hal pengembangan desain produk, sudah ada peningkatan yaitu mampumembuat desain sesuai keinginan pemesan atau konsumen dan mampu memberikanalternatif desain yang menarik dengan kombinasi antara desain Asbes (internit) yang dibuat dengan aksesoris rumah sesuai model Gibs dan warna dasar asbes sudah bisa menyesuaikan dengan warna cat rumah. Dari sisi penangangan order, pengrajin sudahmampu membuat sketsa gambar pesanan lengkap, perkiraan waktu penyelesaiannya, danmenentukan komponen biaya yang meliputi; biaya bahan baku (utama dan pendukung),biaya tenaga kerja, dan biaya operasional lainnya. Kata Kunci : Serat Kelapa, Asbes.

Abstract

Peranan Usaha Kecil  dan Menengah (UKM) dalam menunjang pembengunan daerah adalah sangat besar. untuk itu, pemberdayaan ukm termasuk pengrajin pandai besi haruslah terus dilakukan yaitu dengan cara penerapan teknologi, baik teknologi proses maupun desain produk, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kuantitas, kualitas dan daya saingnya.Teknologi proses yang digunakan oleh para pengrajin pandai besi selama ini masih konversional secara turun menurun, demikian pula desain belum berorientasi pada pasar, sehingga kualitas produk yang dihasilkan oleh  industri yang sudah menggunakan teknologi modrenPemilihan pandai besi "Soli A" sebagai lokasi kegiatan pengabdian karena dilihat dari posisi pandai besi tersebut menunjukan tempat yang strategis untuk pengembagan usaha dimasa yang akan datang. hal inilah yang mendorong diadakanya kegiatan pengabdian untuk mengembangkan pandai besi tersebut agar menjadi lebih maju dan mapan. harapan lebih jauh menjadi perusahaan yang menghasilkan produk peralatan rumah tangga dan pertanian.dari hasil monitoring terhadap keberhasilan penerapan Iptek terlihat bahwa telah ada peningkatan, misalnya pengrajin sudah mampu memilih bahan baku yang baik, melakukan urutan proses produksi dengan benar, memperkirakan temperatur pemanasan dengan baik sehingga bahan baku tidak sampai mencair, dan ada peningkatan dalam memilih media pendingin. peningkatan ketahanan korosi produk hasil penerapan Iptek dengan sebelumnya yaitu sebesar 2,5 %, sedangkan nilai kekerasanya meningkat 1,8% dari sebelumnya. dalam hal pengembagan desain produk, sudah ada peningkatan yaitu mampu membuat desain sesuai keinginan pemesan atau konsumen dan mampu memberikan alternatif desain yang menarik desain dengan kombinasi antara pegangan (garan) dan bahan pisau yang serasi. dari sisi penangan order, pengrajin sudah mampu membuat sketsa gambar pesanan lengkap dengan ukuran, perkiraan waktu penyelesaiannya , dan menentukan komponen biaya yang meliputi biaya bahan baku (utama dan pendukung), biaya tenaga kerja, dan biaya oprasional lainya Kata Kunci : Proses Produksi, Desain Produk, Pisau, UKM

Abstract

Untuk itu pemberdayaan UKM, termasuk para pemilik bengkel haruslah terus dilakukan dengan cara pembinaan penerapan teknologi, baik teknologi proses maupun desain konstruksi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kuantitas, kualitas dan daya saingnya.Teknologi Proses Pengelasan yang digunakan oleh para ahli las pada bengkel konstruksi  selama ini masih konvensional, yang diperoleh secara turun-temurun, demikian pula desain konstruksinyanya belum berorientasi pada kebutuhan masyarakat luas, sehingga kualitas sambungan dan bentuk konstruksi yang dihasilkan kurang memberikan jaminan kekuatan dan kekerasan permukaan konstruksi sambungan.Pemilihan tempat kegiatan di Bengkel Mobil Adi Puro dan Bengkel Las Dalbo terletak di Desa Tlogomas dan Desa Tlogo Indah Kecamatan Lowokwaru Kota Malang, karena dilihat dari posisi kedua bengkel tersebut menempati tempat yang strategis untuk pengembangan usaha dimasa yang akan datang. Hal inilah yang mendorong diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian untuk pengembangan kedua bengkel tersebut agar menjadi lebih maju dan mapan dalam pengembangan jasa perbengkelan.Keberhasilan penerapan IPTEK yang dilakukan adalah adanya peningkatan kemampuan tukang las dalam hal : 1). Penerapan prosedur pengelasan dengan baik yaitu:  meliputi langkah persiapan dengan pembersihan permukaan yang akan dilas, penyusunan kampuh las dengan baik serta menggunakan alat pengamanan standar. 2). Pelaksanaan pengelasan sudah ada peningkatan dalam memilih elektrode, arus dan media pendingin yang cocok untuk jenis pengelasan tertentu. 3) Pasca pengelasan diadakan pembersihan permukaan dan juga paniting. Peningkatan kekerasan hasil penerapan IPTEK dengan sebelumnya adalah sebesar 2,3%. Sedangkan untuk kekuatan tarik meningkat sebesar 5,65 %. Dilihat dari sisi penambahan alat Jig ang Figture dapat meningkatkan ketelitian dari pergeseran konstruksi sebesar 3-5 cm.
