Abstract

This article aims to determine the role that parents play in their child's growth and development during the covid 19 pandemic. The research method used is a case study through interviews. The analysis technique in this research is thematic analysis. The research subjects used were 34 housewives from various professions. The research was conducted in the village of Cibolang Kaler, Sukabumi, West Java. The results showed that the problems faced by parents were limited devices for online learning, unstable internet connection, busy parents, information that did not arrive, children's boredom during online learning. The solutions that can be applied to overcome these problems are providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, increasing understanding of the role of parents in the growth and development of children, needing innovative learning models for online learning, schools implementing face-to-face learning and vaccination immediately.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' weak understanding of the concept of integers. To increase understanding of a concept, in order to be more optimal and obtain learning outcomes that are in line with learning objectives, it is necessary to use supporting facilities that match the characteristics of the subject and student characteristics, one of which is the use of learning media. The Number Line String (LiGaBil) learning media which is packaged in such a way aims to help improve students' understanding in solving integer arithmetic operation problems, using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of LiGaBil media can significantly improve students' understanding and learning outcomes in the concept of integers. Before implementing LigaBil media, 28.89% of students had completed it and after LiGaBil media was implemented consecutively in two cycles, this increased to 86.67%, exceeding the specified target, namely if 80% of students completed the total number of students then learning the concept of numbers The round is complete, although there is still a slight drawback, namely the strength of the medium, especially the numbers made of paper, which come off easily. In the future, it will be further optimized so that it can be used repeatedly. Based on this report, learning media has a very big influence on student learning success. The use of learning media is not only in mathematics subjects, but in all subjects media is very necessary.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peningkatan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas II melalui pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD Negeri Ciseupan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, yang bertujuan untuk menguji hipotesis dengan meneliti populasi atau sampel dan mengumpulkan data berbentuk angka untuk dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, dengan masing-masing siklus melibatkan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas II SD Negeri Ciseupan pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Data diperoleh dari observasi dan tes selama proses pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan kontekstual secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa. Indikator peningkatan ini terlihat dari hasil evaluasi membaca dan keaktifan siswa selama proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The development of information technology is increasingly advanced, the world of education should also be able to see opportunities that can be utilized to support the learning process. Powtoon is one of the applications used to do online presentations using interesting animation features such as handwriting animation, cartoons, livelier transitions, and simpler time line arrangements. The purpose of this study was to determine the benefits of the powtoon platfroom as a learning media and improve student achievement. This research uses quantitative research with a survey model, survey tools using google from. The results of this study explain that powtoon can be made as a learning media with interesting features, so that it can increase student understanding in learning. The conclusion of this study explains that the benefits of the powtoon platform as a learning media are very effective for teachers to use in a more effective learning process so that it can improve student achievement. The limitation of this study is that researchers only utilize the powtoon application as a platform to improve student achievement, therefore further research should be able to conduct research aimed at developing the powtoon application as a learning media that can increase student motivation, enthusiasm and activeness in discussions.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a textbook based on local wisdom with an integration of ethnoscience learning about traditional Bugis food. This research used Research and Development with a 4D model which consists of four stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The research subjects for the practicality test included 192 students of IV grade elementary school and 6 teachers from the school population in Pallangga District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. The validity test of textbooks was judged by material experts, language experts and media experts. Based on the results of the analysis of the Gregory formula, it is stated that the validation coefficient for learning books by material experts, media experts and language experts was 1.00 with the content validity category being "very high". The results of the textbook validation received a very high assessment and were categorized as valid because the contents of the textbook were in accordance with the competencies and indicators that must be achieved by fourth grade elementary school students. This is demonstrated by the accuracy, completeness and suitability of the core material and supporting material according to student characteristics. The average teacher response to textbooks was 95% in the "very practical" category and the average student response was 92%. In the Ease of Use (navigation) aspect, the textbook ease indicator reached an average value of 0.89 or 89%. These results showed that students did not experience difficulties in using the science and technology textbook based on local Bugis traditional wisdom because the instructions in the book are clear.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of play strategies in moving class activities and their impact on the social-emotional development of early childhood children at the Early Childhood Education Laboratory (PAUD) BBPMP West Java. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that play strategies in moving class provide children with the opportunity to choose activities according to their interests, thereby encouraging independence and social interaction. This strategy has a positive impact on children's social-emotional development, such as increased self-confidence, courage to interact, and the ability to manage emotions. These findings are in line with Piaget's theory which emphasizes the importance of exploration, and Vygotsky's theory which highlights the role of social interaction. In conclusion, play strategies in moving class are effective in enhancing the social and emotional development of early childhood children.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of differentiated instruction on learners' social interaction in primary schools. This research applied the literature review method and analysed the data with a simplified approach to simplify the problem-solving process. The results show that the implementation of the differentiated instruction approach has a positive impact on learners' social interaction. This approach fosters cooperation in groups, through discussion, learners also develop their communication skills. Differentiated instruction not only plays a role in improving academic achievement, but also in shaping learners' character in socialising and empathising. The implementation of differentiated instruction shows effectiveness in increasing learning participation, so teachers should consider this approach in planning and implementing teaching. The results also support the view that flexible, learner-centred learning can create a learning environment that is inclusive, adaptive and supports the development of social and cognitive skills. This research can also serve as a reference to encourage teacher training to effectively implement the differentiated instruction approach.
