Abstract

Introduction – Several studies show that there is a negative correlation between obesity and cognitive function. Exercise can reverse the bad effect of obesity through mediation of BDNF. Research about the effect of exercise intensity to BNDF levels in hippocampus of mice is ever be done, but research about the effect of exercise intensity to BNDF levels in hippocampus of fructose-induced mice is never be done.Objective – To prove the effect of different exercise intensity to BDNF level in hippocampus of fructoseinduced mice. Methods – A total of 32 mice were divided into four groups: Control group which was a CON and treatment groups which were low-intensity exercise (LIE), moderate-intensity exercise (MIE), and high-intensity exercise (HIE). The duration of treatment was 4 weeks. Swimming to exercise held 3 times a week and fructose solution dose was 270 grams for 9 days.Results – This research revealed that there was significantly difference on body weight before and after administration of fructose solution for 9 days (p=0.000). The lowest BDNF levels after treatment was group C and the highest of BDNF levels was group MI. There was no significantly difference in BDNF levels among groups after treatment (p=0.378), but there was tendency for BDNF levels to increase with exercise intensity.Conclusion – Swimming exercise with low-intensity, moderate-intensity, and high intensity has no effect on BDNF level in the hippocampus of fructose-induced mice.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the difference and the effect of contextual teaching and learning model on learning result in geography subject at XI IPS SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung school year 2014/2015. This research used quasi experiment method which was the method that compare learning result with a treatment to the object. The subjects of this result were students of second grade of social class 1 and social class 3 which consisted of 64 students. Data collecting technique of this research weretest and data analysis used were t-test and effect size. The result of this research showed that there is a significant difference of learning result in the class which was given by the conventional model of teaching learning, where the experiment class is higher than control class. There is an effect of contextual teaching and learning model on learning result in geography subject.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan danpengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstualterhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 6Bandar Lampungtahun ajaran 2014/2015.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semuyaitu metode yang membandingkan hasil belajar dengan pemberian perlakuan pada suatu objek. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 3 sebanyak 64 siswa.Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dan efek size.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar pada kelas yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran kontekstual dengan kelas yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran konvensional, dimana kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi rata-rata hasil belajarnya dari kelas kontrol. Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, geografi, model pembelajaran kontekstual

Abstract

PT Gresik Cipta Sejahtera (GCS) mempunyai banyak pegawai yang kinerjanya dinilai selama 6 bulan sekali baik untuk pegawai tetap maupun pegawai kontrak. Sayangnya penilaian tersebut hanya digunakan untuk sebatas laporan ke perusahaan induk. Tujuan dibuatnya aplikasi ini adalah memudahkan pihak perusahaan khususnya divisi SDM (Sumber Daya Manusia) dan masing-masing kepala divisi ketika melakukan penilaian secara akurat, efektif dan efisien, serta membantu pihak SDM dalam menentukan calon penerima bonus gaji maupun kandidat calon pegawai tetap ketika diadakan recruitment. Nilai kriteria tersebut diolah dengan menggunakan metode Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) sehingga menghasilkan sejumlah kelompok karyawan yang memiliki standar penilaian yang bersifat dinamis. Uji validitas hasil clustering untuk penentuan kinerja dengan menggunakan perhitungan Partition Coeffecient Index (PC1) diperoleh 0.814, ini berarti dapat dikatakan bahwa hasil clustering tergolong dalam kategori baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diperoleh sebelas pusat cluster atau centroid. Untuk penentuan cluster terbaik dilakukan dengan cara merata-rata nilai keanggotaan cluster berdasarkan empat aspek yang ditentukan kemudian membandingkan hasil tersebut dengan hasil yang didapat oleh cluster lainnya. Sehingga ketika proses testing pegawai harus menjadi anggota custer terbaik untuk mendapatkan atau berpeluang mendapatkan gaji bonus dari perusahaan.
