Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to determine the differences in understanding the concepts ofmathematics subjects from each learning method, learning style and the interaction of both.This research is a quantitative research with a 3x3 factorial design. The population in thisstudy were all eighth grade students of Maniamas Ngabang Middle School 2019/2020academic year totaling 105 people. Samples were taken by cluster random samplingtechnique with a total sample of 78 people. The instrument used was a test instrument tomeasure understanding of mathematical concepts and questionnaire instruments to measurestudent learning styles. The data analysis technique uses two-way variance (two way ANOVA)with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis testcan be concluded (1) There are differences in understanding the concept of mathematicssubjects between the use of the Talking Stick method, Pair Check and conventional materialrelations and functions, namely (a) Students taught by the Talking Stick and Pair Checkmethod produce understanding mathematical concepts the same is good, (b) Students taughtwith the Talking Stick method are better than students taught with conventional methods and(c) Students taught by the Pair Check method are better than students taught by conventionalmethods. (2) There is no difference in understanding of the concepts of mathematical subjectsbetween students who have visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles and (3) There is nointeraction of understanding mathematical concepts between each learning method andlearning style.

Abstract

According to the 2022 PISA results, Indonesia's mathematical literacy score dropped by 13 points to 366, placing it 106 points below the global average. This decline is closely tied to students' numerical literacy skills. To address this, learning should encourage students to solve mathematical problems through critical, logical, and creative thinking. Interactive learning media that meets students' needs is essential to enhance numerical literacy. The objective of this study is to develop artificial intelligence-based interactive learning media, specifically using Mentimeter, to improve students' numerical literacy skills. The research follows the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), with data collected through questionnaires and tests. The success indicators for the media include a minimum of valid for validity, practical for practicality, and high for effectiveness. The results show that the Artificial Intelligence-based interactive learning media was successfully developed. The validity test averaged 93.74% in the "very valid" category, the practicality test averaged 90.14% in the "very practical" category, and the effectiveness test yielded an N-Gain Score of 0.71 (71.09%), classified as "high." These findings demonstrate that AI-based interactive learning media can significantly improve students' numeracy literacy skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan penguatan kemampuan refresentasi visual dalam pembelajaran analogi matematika pada materi peluang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan refresentasi visual dalam pembelajaran analogi matematika . Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus karena fokus penelitian ini menjawab bagaimana penguatan refresentasi visual dalam pembelajaran analogi matematik . Pengembangan dikonstruksi melalui tinjauan teoritik, sintesa dari penelitian terdahulu, dan contoh-contoh penguatan kemampuan refresentasi visual. sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 25 peserta didik kelas XII di SMA Maniamas Ngabang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 untuk memperoleh data hasil penelitian dan hasil wawancara. Alur instrumen data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui soal essay sebanyak 5 soal untuk mengukur kemampuan refresentasi visual dalam pembelajaran analogi matematika dan wawancara langsung dengan 6 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan refresentasi visual peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,96 dan analogi matematika peserta didik juga sudah memenuhi 4 kriteria yang ditetapkan dimana terlihat dari kemampuan dalam menemukan kesamaan terkait pengetahuan yang ada dengan target soal yang diberikan. Kemudian dari hasil wawancara langsung peserta didik mengalami peningkatan kemampuan dalam memodelkan secara matematika, mengkomunikasikan ke peserta didik lainnya, dan sudah dapat menentukan kesamaan terkait soal yang diberikan.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in nation-building by significantly contributing to intellectual development, societal well-being, and the formation of national identity. Although SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang is known as a quality school, most students in grade XI MIPA face challenges in achieving adequate academic performance, especially in trigonometry. This research aims to determine the influence of students' learning interest on their performance in trigonometry at SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang. The research population includes all grade XI MIPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang, totaling 180 students, with samples consisting of classes MIPA B and MIPA D, totaling 72 students. This study is quantitative, using simple linear regression analysis as hypothesis testing. The results indicate that students' learning interest has a significant impact on their performance in trigonometry, with an influence level of 90.8%, while the remaining is influenced by other factors. Analysis of learning interest indicators shows that happiness contributes the most (48.4%), while attention contributes the least (34.6%). The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of enhancing students' learning interest to improve their academic performance.
