Abstract

In an effort to prevent anemia in pregnant women, apart from providing iron tablets and their distribution system, the thing that has the most influence on the success of the iron supplementation program is the compliance of pregnant women in taking Fe tablets obediently according to the recommendations of health workers. The initial survey showed that 4 out of 10 respondents were not compliant in taking iron tablets. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and family support with adherence to consuming iron tablets at the Lubuk Begalung Health Center. This research design is an analytical method, using a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in the working area of the Lubuk Begalung Health Center in Padang which was carried out from 24 July - August 2023. In this study, pregnant women at the Lubuk Begalung Health Center in 2023, population 503 with 83 respondents. The results showed that most pregnant women (62.7%) had poor knowledge and most (65.1%) had poor family support. Statistical tests concluded that there was a significant relationship between knowledge p0.007 (p <0.05) and family support p0.035 (p <0.05) with compliance of pregnant women taking iron tablets at the Lubuk Begalung Health Center Padang. It is recommended that health services at the Lubuk Begalung Health Center provide counseling regarding knowledge and family support in the compliance of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets.

Abstract

World prevalence data in 2022, 148.1 stunted children, Indonesia with a stunting incidence rate of 21.6%. The Padang City Health Office said that toddlers who experienced stunting in Seberang Padang Village were found in the initial survey of 20 toddlers. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between birth weight and stunting incidence in toddlers aged 24-59 months in Seberang Padang Village in 2024.This type of research is analytical with a cross-sectional approach design; this study was conducted on July 23 – August 03. The study population was mothers who had toddlers aged 24-59 months in Seberang Padang Village, a sample of 72 mothers who had toddlers was obtained. The sample use technique uses simple random sampling by distributing questionnaires to mothers of toddlers. The data analysis used was Univariate and Bivariate. The results of the research were obtained by children who had a normal birth weight (91.7%) and stunting incidence (86.1%). The results of the statistical test concluded that p=value =0.000 (p<0.05) which means that there is a significant meaningful relationship between birth weight and stunting incidence.

Abstract

Kejadian ISPA meningkat pada tahun 2023 prevalensi nasional mencapai 34% penderita ISPA. Menurut survei kesehatan indonesia (SKI) 2023, ISPA pada balita di sumatra barat 29,8%. Survei awal ditemukan 10 balita yang mengalami ISPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan Ibu dengan Kejadian ISPA pada balita usia 0-59 bulan di Puskesmas Andalas Kota Padang Tahun 2024.Jenis peneltian ini adalah metode penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross Sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Andalas yang dilaksana kan pada bulan Juli- Agustus Tahun 2024. Sampel penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki balita usia 0-59 bulan di Puskesmas Andalas Tahun 2024, berjumlah 98 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan “Accidental Sampling”. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis univariat dan bivariat.Hasil penelitian diperoleh hampir sebagian (48,0%) memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang dan sebagian besar (72,4%) balita terdiagnosis ISPA. Hasil uji chi-square didapatkan bahwa p-value = 0,004 (p<0,05) yang berarti ada hubungan signifiktan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan kejadian ISPA. Di harapkan bagi tempat penelitian untuk memperhatikan dan mengop timalkan pemberian edukasi dengan cara promosi kesehatan berupa metode mobil keliling kepada ibu tentang penyakit ISPA secara berkesinambungan
