Abstract

This research aims to analyze how farming works, the effectiveness of utilization and aspects of red and corn production intercropping red chilies and corn with production functions in Panji Porsea Village, Sitinjo District, Dairi Regency. This research was carried out in November 2022. The form of this research was a quantitative method. The population in this study were 50 farmers using corn monoculture, chili monoculture and intercropping red chili with corn. To obtain appropriate research results, the sample used was purposive sampling taken from each village, the data analysis technique used was cost and revenue analysis and Land Use Ratio Analysis.intercropping chili corn.The effectiveness of intercropping land use for red chilies and corn is running very well, because the intercropping system at the time of planting is very suitable and very feasible to implement, able to increase the income of both chili and corn farmers. The production aspect of red chilies and corn after using the intercropping method appears to increase when compared to monoculture because by saving land you can produce 2 different productions.

Abstract

"Care for the Coast" Farmers Group is located in Beras Basah Village, Pangkalan Susu District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province, established in 2021 with the approval of the Minister of Environment and Forestry Number 8544/MenLHK-PSKL/PKPS/PSL.0/ 12/2021 Dated 24 December 2021 Concerning the Granting of Approval for Community Forest Management to the Coastal Care Farmers Group covering an area of ​​+ 38 (Thirty Eight) Hectares in the Permanent Production Forest (HP) Area. Currently there is a need for improvements both in terms of Ecotourism so that it develops and the products produced by the group. The objectives of this research are to determine the economic condition of the group, analyze how conditions improve the economy with the use of mangroves as social forests in the Group. The results showed that to carry out promotions, waste handling was further improved. In this case, the government is obliged to assist with road access and safeguard against mangrove encroachment and create innovations both in terms of location aesthetics and the products produced.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence consumer decisions in purchasing imported orange fruit and local orange fruit (case study in Kisaran City). The population in this study was the entire population of Kisaran City, totaling 143,235 people. Determining the sample using interpretive estimation with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), a purposive sampling approach obtained a total of 150 respondents. Data processing was carried out using the SPSS Statistics 25 program tool. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics. validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis test and coefficient of determination. The research results show that cultural factors, personal factors, psychological factors have a positive and significant effect on consumer decisions in purchasing imported citrus fruit, while social factors and price factors have no effect. Then cultural factors, social factors, psychological factors and price factors have a positive and significant influence on consumer decisions in purchasing local citrus fruit, while personal factors have no influence.
