Abstract

Abstract The purpose of the study was to develop the artistic development ability of age 5-6 at RA Darul Huda Mataram Baru, East Lampung. This study used an action research method consisting of 2 cycles involving 15 children. The cycle in this research is in the form of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Previously, the researcher conducted a pre-action research to determine the early ability of children's artistic development in free drawing activities. To achieve children's development, especially art can be done with fun activities for children. Activities can be done by taking the child out of the room to see directly, what is seen by the child, it can make it easier for the child to remember something. Children are given motivation in remembering and provide opportunities for children to ask questions directly to make children enthusiastic in learning, so in this research, it is explained that the artistic development of group B students is greatly improved, with this the results can be seen from the final score of the research in cycle I and cycle II. The data obtained in the first cycle there are 8 children (53.33%) can draw freely well, and 7 children (46.67%) cannot draw freely well. Abstract

This study aims to (1) identify the various difficulties experienced by students in learning the Fiqh Book, and (2) analyze the factors causing these difficulties and the efforts made by the council of ustadz in teaching the Fiqh Book (Mabādi’ul Fiqhiyyah) at the Hidayatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Batanghari, East Lampung. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method as a type of field study. The study results indicate that students experience difficulties in learning the Fiqh Book in terms of reading Arabic texts, understanding the material, and low interest and motivation to learn. This failure is caused by internal factors such as physical and psychological conditions, learning styles and attitudes, and lack of concentration; external factors such as educational background, teaching methods, and social interaction. The efforts of the ustadz in overcoming this include providing additional lessons, enriching Arabic language understanding, practicing reading bare and pegon Arabic texts, personal motivation, and periodic learning evaluations. In addition, the active involvement of students in the learning process also contributes to overcoming learning obstacles. Students actively asking questions, discussing, and showing learning initiatives tend to experience increased understanding. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of synergy between the teaching strategies of the ustadz and the active participation of the students in creating an effective Fiqh learning process in the Islamic boarding school environment.

Abstract

Abstract: Learners hold a central position in the educational process and, from the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy, are viewed as active subjects who must be guided according to their innate nature (fitrah). Islamic education aims to develop the learner’s full potential—physically, intellectually, and spiritually—toward the ideal of the insan kamil (perfect human). This study aims to analyze the essence, characteristics, rights and responsibilities, and ethical code of learners within the framework of Islamic educational philosophy, along with its implications in educational practice. The research employs a literature review method by examining books, scholarly articles, and other relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that learners are not merely passive recipients of knowledge, but active participants who are expected to maintain proper conduct, sincere intention, and dedication in their pursuit of learning. A comprehensive understanding of learners’ characteristics and needs enables the implementation of Islamic education to be more effective and holistic, aligning with the core values of Islam.
