Abstract

This research aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN VI Bilalang through a Realistic Mathematics Education approach. This research is action research. The research subjects were 23 students in class IV of SDN VI Bilalang, consisting of 7 boys and 16 girls. The research method uses the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. The research was carried out in two cycles. The techniques used for data collection are observation and test questions. The research results show that realistic mathematics can improve the mathematics learning process and outcomes of class IV students at SDN VI Bilalang. The increase in learning activities using the Realistic Mathematics approach can be seen at the end of cycle I, namely student activity reached 51.5%, then increased at the end of cycle II, namely student activity reached 87.6%. Improvements in student learning outcomes can be seen from the grades obtained by students. The number of students who achieved completeness in cycle I was 20 students or 86%, and in cycle II completion reached 21 students or 91.30%. Thus, it can be said that the application of a realistic mathematical approach can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the application of the Talking Stick Model to improve mathematics learning outcomes in class V at SDN 6 Bilalang. The research method is Classroom Action Research. This research was carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and tests. Data analysis to determine student learning outcomes, whether they have met the criteria for learning completeness or not. The results of research by applying the Talking Stick model in mathematics learning showed that achievement in cycle I = 58.5% and achievement in cycle II = 80.5%. Based on the results from cycle I to cycle II, it turns out there has been an increase. The conclusion of the research is that the application of the Talking Stick model can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics subjects in class V at SDN 6 Bilalang. It is recommended that the application of the Talking Stick model can be a reference material for teachers to improve student learning outcomes and can be applied as a learning model that can be used in Mathematics teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the problem based learning model to improve Mathematics learning outcomes for fifth grade students at GMIM PINARAS Elementary School. This research method uses quantitative methods. The sample in this study consisted of 30 students and used a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire instrument or questionnaire using a Likert scale. Using data analysis techniques for validity testing and reliability testing for data quantity testing, linearity testing for prerequisite testing and simple linear regression testing for hypothesis testing. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence of the application of the problem based learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class V at GMIM Pinaras Elementary School. With a calculated F value = 17,531 and a significance value of 0.001 or less than 0.05

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of teacher creativity and student learning motivation on student mathematics learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SD Gmim 4 Tomohon with a total of 44 students as respondents. The sampling technique uses the Probability Sampling technique. The technique used to determine the validity of each (item) is the product moment correlation technique. Reliability tests were carried out on items whose validity had been tested. The results of this study showed that (1) there was a significant influence of teacher creativity on the Mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at Gmim 4 Tomohon Elementary School. Based on the t value, it is known that the calculated t value is 3,371> 2,019 t table, thus the teacher creativity variable (X1) influences student learning outcomes (Y); (2) there is a significant influence of student learning motivation on the Mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at SD Gmim 4 Tomohon. Based on the t value, it is known that the calculated t value is 3,217 > 2,019 t table. Thus, the student learning motivation variable (X2) has a significant effect on student learning outcomes (Y); (3) there is a significant influence of teacher creativity and student learning motivation together on the Mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at SD Gmim 4 Tomohon. The relationship correlation value (R) is 0.482. From the output, the determinant coefficient (R square) is 0.232. This means that 23.2% of students' mathematics learning outcomes can be explained by students' learning motivation variables while the remainder, namely 76.8%, is explained by other variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika kelas III SDN Inpres 12/79 Girian Bawah. Peneliti menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu : (1) perencanaan, (2) tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi yang dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN Inpres 12/79 Girian Bawah dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi yaitu pengamatan secara langsung terhadap pelaksanaan tindakan pembelajaran dan tes lisan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus KB = x 100%. Hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I mencapai 66% sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh mencapai 87,3% yang artinya siswa sudah memahami materi dan mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru di SDN Inpres 12/79 Girian Bawah diharapkan untuk menerapkan Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika kelas III.
