Abstract

This research seeks to determine the halal tourism development strategy in Banjarmasin City, prioritizing halal tourism development aspects, including tourist attraction, human resources, accessibility, regulations, marketing, and the environment. This research makes use of the Analytic Network Process approach. In-depth interviews and questionnaires were conducted with 12 expert informants consisting of academics, regulators, and practitioners. The results show that the priority issues are human resources, tourism services, regulations, and socialization. The priority solution to the four problems of developing halal tourism in Banjarmasin City is a regulatory solution. The strategies include 1) Improving the high-quality of human sources in halal tourism control; 2) Developing tourist services that are more Muslim-friendly; 3) Providing complete commitment and help from both the authorities and private zones in growing halal tourism; and 4) Accentuating the socialization and schooling concerning halal tourism to the network and tourism enterprise actors.

Abstract

The Islamic economic paradigm and worldview have resulted in competitive Islamic finance industry in global finance. In the face of intense competition in the global financial industry, Islamic finance requires innovative contracts or products based on sharia through fiqh mu’āmalah. This article aims to understand the issue of fiqh mu’āmalah in Islamic economics. Using descriptive analysis, the author describes the relationship between fiqh mu’āmalah and sharia finance and the prohibition of mu’āmalah, hybrid-contract, Maqāshid sharia, and its supervision. The conclusion in this article clarifies the concept of the prohibition of fiqh mu’āmalah to its supervision without hindering the innovation of Islamic financial activities.Paradigma ekonomi Islam dan cara pandangnya (worldview) telah menghasilkan industri keuangan syariah yang kompetitif dalam keuangan global. Dalam menghadapi persaingan sengit industri keuangan global maka keuangan syariah membutuhkan akad atau produk yang inovatif berbasis syariah melalui fiqih mu’āmalah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami isu fiqih mu’āmalah dalam studi ekonomi Islam. Dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, penulis mendeskripsikan hubungan fiqih mu’āmalah dan keaungan syariah serta larangan mu’āmalah, multi akad, Maqāshid syariah dan pengawasannya. Kesimpulan dalam artikel ini menjernihkan konsep tentang larangan fiqih mu’āmalah hingga pengawasannya tanpa menghambat inovasi dari aktivitas keuangan syariah.

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: In recent years, Indonesia has shown strengthening figures in world sharia economic and financial reports. This encourages studies on Muslim consumer behavior more to sustainable. This article provides an overview of research on the behavior of Muslim consumers who are committed to environmental issues and have awareness of religion. Previous research has focused primarily on green consumer behavior, and reported mixed findings, depending on the knowledge background. Purpose/Objective Study: As an extension of previous research, this study will reveal the role of religiosity to impact green commitment (GC) and their purchasing intention. Design/Methodology/Approach: A total of 296 respondents' data was collected based on purposive sampling and analyzed through structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS version 3. Findings: The results show that religiosity influences GC and green purchase intention (GPI) as well as the role of GC to mediates the relationship between religiosity and GPI. Future research requires deeper investigation regarding the number and distribution of samples so that it can help better generalize the findings.
