Abstract

One of the essential human needs that must be fulfilled is clean water, and using reservoirs is one of the alternative to collect clean water that from mountains. The process of distributing water from the mountain to the reservoirs sometimes encounter issues that chough up the water from reaching the reservoirs. These issues can be caused by natural phenomena, such as a decrease in the quality of the water source, or other factors like leaks or pipes disconnection. Periodic monitoring of the water source's condition is necessary to identify the causes of these problems. One of the method for monitoring the condition of mountain water sources is by utilizing the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). This allows remote monitoring using water flow sensor to collect data on water flow and ultrasonic sensor to measure water levels. The data is then transmitted via the internet using the NodeMCU 8266 microcontroller. The research stages include identifying needs, needs and design analysis, variable value analysis, program design, program development, and testing. The testing involves functional and performance tests to ensure the system operates effectively, enabling personnel to identify the causes of issues that cough up water from reaching the reservoirs. The result of this research is a device that can monitor the availability of water in the reservoirs and easily track the quantity of clean water from the water source through a website.

Abstract

Today, the technology has been very rapid development where one of them is a web-based information system that is already widely used by agencies as a means of supporting the operational management. Utilization of information technology has also begun to be used by educational institutions for administration, promotion, information and others. SMK Wiyata Mandala Bogor is one of the educational institutions that has begun to use this technology, where several administrative systems have used desktop-based technology. SMK Wiyata Mandala Bogor is a foundation with SMP Wiyata Mandala Bogor, where if the students who wish to continue in SMK Wiyata Mandala Bogor will receive scholarships based on the learners' achievements during SMP Wiyata Mandala Bogor corresponding quota provided. Thus requiring a decision support system that can help the management of registration in providing scholarships. Decision support Metode Perbandingan Eksponensial (MPE) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) was chosen for the calculations could use an exponential rank of importance of subjects which will then be calculated based on the weight of a specified grade level. By using Metode Perbandingan Eksponensial (MPE) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) can produce a ranking of the best learners will receive scholarships in vocational Wiyata Mandala Bogor.

Abstract

In the digital era, information technology has become a key pillar across various aspects of life, including the world of work. Rapid developments in artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) have driven significant changes in labor demands. However, a lack of understanding about careers in the technology industry and the gap between education and industry needs remain major challenges. Career awareness programs in the field of technology are essential to help individuals understand the diverse career opportunities, required skills, and existing challenges. The technology sector offers a wide range of professions such as software engineer, data scientist, cybersecurity analyst, and cloud engineer—each requiring specialized expertise. While the demand for technology professionals continues to rise, intense competition and rapid technological advancements demand continuous learning and adaptability. Key challenges in this industry include high work pressure, cybersecurity regulations, and maintaining a work-life balance. Therefore, beyond technical skills, time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities are also crucial. Collaboration among educational institutions, government, and industry is necessary to provide relevant insights and training that prepare the workforce for future demands. This community service program aims to enhance public understanding of technology-related professions, equip participants with essential digital skills, and assist them in designing effective career strategies. Through this approach, more individuals are expected to seize opportunities in the tech industry and contribute to innovations that benefit society.
