Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi dan revolusi industri 4.0, persaingan di dunia kerja semakin ketat, mendorong kebutuhan akan kesiapan individu dalam menghadapi lingkungan kerja yang dinamis dan berubah cepat. SMK Bakti Idhata sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang berkomitmen untuk mempersiapkan siswa kelas XII dengan keterampilan yang relevan, khususnya dalam penggunaan Microsoft Excel. Meskipun Microsoft Excel menjadi perangkat lunak krusial dalam berbagai sektor industri, banyak siswa SMK, termasuk yang berada di kelas XII, masih mengalami kesenjangan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan penggunaannya. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan Microsoft Excel diintegrasikan sebagai langkah strategis untuk mengisi kesenjangan tersebut dan mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tuntutan pasar kerja yang semakin digital. Artikel ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa masalah, termasuk kesenjangan keterampilan siswa, fokus kurikulum yang lebih teoritis, dan tuntutan pasar kerja yang menekankan pentingnya keterampilan praktis. Dengan rumusan masalah yang disusun, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat keterampilan siswa dalam menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan sejauh mana integrasi keterampilan ini dalam kurikulum dapat meningkatkan daya saing siswa di pasar kerja. Melalui kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM), tujuan pokok kegiatan dan manfaat yang diharapkan, baik bagi Universitas Pamulang maupun SMK Bakti Idhata. Diharapkan pelatihan Microsoft Excel ini dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam mengembangkan potensi siswa, menjembatani kesenjangan keterampilan, dan mendukung visi SMK Bakti Idhata dalam menciptakan lulusan yang siap bersaing di tingkat global.

Abstract

Enhancing community understanding of web technology is a strategic step in addressing the demands of the digital era. In a socialization program at the Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) Kolong Ciputat, we introduced the concept of flexible web design utilizing Bootstrap 5. This framework offers ready-to-use components and a grid system that simplifies the creation of responsive designs. This article explores the methods implemented during the program, the outcomes achieved, and the evaluation of its effectiveness. The results indicate that participants successfully grasped fundamental concepts and implemented Bootstrap 5 to develop responsive web designs.

Abstract

In the digital era, information technology has become a key pillar across various aspects of life, including the world of work. Rapid developments in artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) have driven significant changes in labor demands. However, a lack of understanding about careers in the technology industry and the gap between education and industry needs remain major challenges. Career awareness programs in the field of technology are essential to help individuals understand the diverse career opportunities, required skills, and existing challenges. The technology sector offers a wide range of professions such as software engineer, data scientist, cybersecurity analyst, and cloud engineer—each requiring specialized expertise. While the demand for technology professionals continues to rise, intense competition and rapid technological advancements demand continuous learning and adaptability. Key challenges in this industry include high work pressure, cybersecurity regulations, and maintaining a work-life balance. Therefore, beyond technical skills, time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities are also crucial. Collaboration among educational institutions, government, and industry is necessary to provide relevant insights and training that prepare the workforce for future demands. This community service program aims to enhance public understanding of technology-related professions, equip participants with essential digital skills, and assist them in designing effective career strategies. Through this approach, more individuals are expected to seize opportunities in the tech industry and contribute to innovations that benefit society.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to introduce the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and facial recognition systems to students of SMK Fajar Ciseeng. With the rapid advancement of technology, understanding AI and its implementation has become increasingly important, especially for secondary school students as the next generation in the digital era. The methods used in this activity include interactive material delivery, educational video presentations, facial recognition system simulations, and Q&A sessions. Students were provided with fundamental knowledge about how AI works, its benefits in daily life, and the application of facial recognition systems in various fields, such as security and education. The results of this activity show that students demonstrated high enthusiasm and were able to grasp the basic concepts of AI and the working mechanism of facial recognition systems. The outcome of this program is expected to foster students’ interest in the field of information technology and encourage schools to begin integrating AI-based technology learning into the curriculum.

Abstract

Every product, especially new hardware, before use must require special procedures in advance in order to be operated.To be able to connect the computer with the hardware in need of a software so that later the hardware is operated easily. Within a certain period of hardware there is usually a problem and product damage that often arises. In order to overcome these obstacles or damage in need of knowledge or correct procedures for hardware that can be repaired and reusable. because of the large number of products it requires a lot of software drivers, and stock software is on the Compact Disk or CD that takes time to look for it and for troubleshooting product problems, often the support team in response to complaints from customers difficulties finding solutions spontaneously because of problems product improvements are usually handled by technicians, so sometimes the support team find out on the internet first or ask with a technician directly. The purpose of this study is the search for drivers, how to install drivers and troubleshooting articles can easily be in, because there is already a container so that drivers live to download without having to search first. As for the procedure of installing the driver or how to solve the troubleshooting of the product just do the title problem and then the article will appear, so in answering questions from customers quickly and assist technicians in completing the repair hardware.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had a significant impact on daily life, including in the field of education. Students are now able to utilize various AI-based applications to support learning processes, access information quickly, and enhance creativity. However, alongside these positive opportunities, there are risks that cannot be ignored, such as low levels of digital security literacy, vulnerability to cybercrime, and the potential misuse of AI technology. In response to these conditions, this Community Service Program (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PKM) is designed to provide an introduction to digital security and the wise use of AI for students. The activities focus on increasing awareness of the importance of protecting personal data, promoting ethical behavior in digital media usage, and improving understanding of responsible AI utilization. In addition, the program introduces various examples of AI applications that support learning, enabling students to understand both the benefits and risks of AI technology. The implementation methods include interactive material presentations, group discussions, case studies related to digital security, and hands-on practice using simple AI applications. Through this approach, students are expected to more easily understand the concepts presented and apply them in their daily lives.With the implementation of this PKM program, students are expected to develop better digital security literacy as well as the skills to utilize AI wisely, ethically, and productively, thereby becoming better prepared to face the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

Homecare services have become an important solution in providing health care at home, especially for patients who need long-term care or cannot access health facilities directly, such as the elderly, post-natal mothers and babies. However, challenges in schedule management and service efficiency often become obstacles in homecare service operations. This research aims to develop and implement a web-based homecare information system with a reservation feature to increase the efficiency of health services. The case study was conducted on Yunia Khomsati A.Md Keb., SKM., M.K.M, a public health master's graduate collaborating with her friend, the same graduate and her 2 nursing assistants who wanted to help the people around her who needed care at home. This system is designed to facilitate the process of homecare service facilities, managing schedules, home addresses of homecare providers, communication between patients and service providers if they want to be served at the patient's home. The implementation of this system will be able to expand information that it turns out that patients who need care services can do so at home, can make online reservations and know the rates for services provided by nurses. There are 2 types of services available in this homecare service, namely coming to the practice's home or a nurse coming to the patient's house. It is hoped that this research can find effective and practical solutions to increase the efficiency of technology-based homecare services.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, particularly Machine Learning, has had a significant impact on various aspects of daily life, especially in predictive systems used in digital services, education, and industry. However, the understanding of vocational high school (SMK) students regarding the basic concepts and applications of Machine Learning remains relatively limited. This condition causes students to function primarily as technology users without a clear understanding of the underlying processes and the benefits generated.Therefore, this community service activity aims to socialize and introduce the utilization of Machine Learning for predictive systems in everyday life to students of SMK Raflesia Depok. The methods employed in this activity include a preparation stage, interactive material delivery, demonstrations of simple Machine Learning applications, as well as discussion and question-and-answer sessions. The materials were presented using easy-to-understand language and supported by contextual examples to match the level of comprehension of vocational high school students. The results of the activity indicate an increase in students’ understanding, interest, and enthusiasm toward the basic concepts of Machine Learning and its applications in predictive systems. Through this activity, students are expected to develop better technological literacy, analytical thinking skills, and readiness to face the rapid development of digital technology and the demands of the future workforce.
