Abstract

A rise in environmental challenges owing to society consumption patterns highlights the importance of Green Purchase Behavior, especially in the context of buying personal care products. Environmental Attitude is a suggested factor influencing the tendency toward Green Purchase Behavior since women with children play significant roles in family purchasing. However, research on the relationship between Environmental Attitude and Green Purchase Behavior shows varied findings and inconsistent. This study aims to examine the effect of Environmental Attitude on Green Purchase Behavior among women with children when purchasing personal care products. A quantitative approach was used, employing scales for Environmental Attitude adapted from Dunlap., et al (2000) and Green Purchase Behavior Scale adapted from Lee (2007). The study sample consisted of 135 women with children who are aware of eco-friendly personal care products. Analysis results show that Environmental Attitude significantly influences Green Purchase Behavior, accounting for 9.3% of the effect, while the remaining influence comes from other factors not studied here. This indicates that higher Environmental Attitude levels correspond to a greater tendency toward Green Purchase Behavior. However, the independent variable's influence is relatively low, implying that other factors also affect Green Purchase Behavior. The findings are expected to shed light on the role of environmental attitudes in shaping green purchasing behavior, as well as serve as a foundation for developing social and educational initiatives that encourage pro-environmental purchasing practices among communities while guiding industries in supporting environmentally responsible consumer behavior.

Abstract

The development of Science, Technology, and Arts (IPTEKS) which so rapidly affects the process of implementing education can no longer be done conventionally. The learning methodology needs to adapt to these technological developments so that it can be carried out efficiently and effectively. This challenges education experts to continue to innovate in developing learning methods and strategies. How the learning process is carried out in a short time, and not always face to face between the lecturers and students but get the results as expected. One alternative to overcome this problem is to utilize computer-assisted instruction (CAI). This study aims to develop multi-media computer-assisted instruction (CAI) as a means of independent learning. This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle method by Luther (1994), which includes six stages of development, namely concept (concept), design (design), material collection, assembly (manufacture), testing (testing), and distribution (distribution). At the testing stage, an alpha (alpha test) was carried out by the experts, while at the distribution stage the students were tested with indicators of usability, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction. Conclusion for all aspects of the overall validity, practicability, and feasibility test, it can be ignored that multi-media computer-assisted instruction (CAI) is valid, practical, and worthy of being used as a means of independent learning

Abstract

Kematangan karir merupakan salah satu hal penting yang perlu dimiliki siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK ) sebagai bekal untuk menghadapi dunia kerja maupun untuk melanjutkan pendidikan. Salah satu faktor yang ikut berperan dalam terbentuknya kematangan karir tersebut adalah dukungan dari keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap kematangan karir pada siswa kelas XII di SMK Negeri 3 Padang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 206 orang siswa kelas XII yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala kematangan karir berdasarkan teori Super dan skala dukungan keluarga yang mengacu pada teori Procidano dan Heller. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program SPPS versi 20. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kematangan karir siswa dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 4,102 dan nilai signifikansi < 0,044. Koefisien regresi sebesar 0,202 menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan keluarga yang diterima siswa, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kematangan karir yang dimiliki siswa. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,020 menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga memberikan kontribusi sebesar 2% terhadap kematangan karir, sedangkan 98% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga memiliki peran penting dalam membantu siswa mempersiapkan dan merencanakan karir masa depannya.
