Abstract

This research departs from the declining tendency of critical thinking in elementary school students. Starting from the problem of limited media and children's learning resources, teachers use various materials in the surrounding environment as media and sources for the continuity of teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this study is to uncover the teacher's strategy of using environmental media in improving critical thinking of elementary school students. The approach used in the research is quantitative with survey methods related to the use of the surrounding environment as a source of learning and critical thinking skills. Research data obtained online using google form media. In this study, the number of respondents who became the sample in this study were 219 elementary school teachers spread across the West Bandung Regency area. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire regarding the area of using environmental media as a learning resource and critical thinking area. The results showed that the application of critical thinking to students has often been done by teachers through environmental media as a learning resource with an average score of 41.9%. In addition, the research indicates that there are some teachers who have never developed critical thinking towards their students with a percentage of 1.69%. This makes it necessary to carry out alternative activities as an improvement effort through the teacher's strategy of using environmental media as a learning resource in improving critical thinking of elementary school students.

Abstract

Kabupaten Musi Rawas adalah satu diantara kabupaten atau kota yang ada di provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang rawan bencana dengan kriteria tinggi di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, utamanya bencana banjir, tanah longsor dan kebakaran hutan. Kondisi ini harus mendapatkan perhatian serius oleh pemerintah. Pemerintah sebagai badan pengawas dan merupakan lembaga yang mempunyai peranan utama dalam upaya penanganan bencana alam yang terjadi. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Musi Rawas saat ini adalah pemetaan daerah rawan bencana masih dilakukan secara secara manual, yaitu mendata satu persatu daerah berpotensi atau terjadi bencana. Hal ini terasa menyulitkan, dikarenakan pola sebaran daerah rawan bencana yang cenderung berubah dan pola pendataan secara manual akan sangat menyulitkan dalam menyajikan informasi yang kemprehensif kepada masyarakat atau pihak terkait yang mengakibatkan pemetaan daerah rawan bencana kurang tepat sasaran dan kurang maksimal. Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) merupakan salah satu cara untuk memecahkan masalah yang ada. SIG memudahkan pengelola untuk mendata dan mengetahui sebaran daerah rawan bencana yang ada. Dengan adanya Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG), informasi dapat disampaikan dalam bentuk peta yang didalamnya terdapat informasi yang terkait dengan daerah rawan bencana tersebut. Hasil akhir penelitian adalah Sistem Informasi Geografis Pemetaan Daerah Rawan Bencana Di Kabupaten Musi Rawas Berbasis Website.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memudahkan masyarakat yang berada di desa dalam melihat dan mengetahui asset- asset miliki desa yang ada dalam wilayah kabupaten Musi Rawas. Selain itu dengan adanya sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui keberadaan asset peninggal nenek moyang zaman yang sangat berguna bagi kemajuan suatu Desa. Dalam mengembangkan sistem ini, maka diperlukan metode pengembangan sistem seperti UML, PHP dan Mysql. Sistem ini juga menampilkan halaman admin, beranda, halaman lokasi, halaman letak asset dan juga halaman titik asset yang ada di wilayah kabupaten Musi Rawas. Hasil penelitian ini adalah implementasi posisi letak asset desa yang akan berdampak pada pelestarian budaya yang dimiliki oleh desa dalam menjaga dan mearwat asset tersebut.

Abstract

Bina Insan University has applied a computer-based information system. This system is named AMS (Academic Management System). The application of AMS (Academic Management System) at this time is still experiencing various obstacles and obstacles at the level of user acceptance. This study aims to analyze the results of the evaluation of the success factors for implementing AMS (Academic Management System) using the Hot-Fit Model (Human Organization Technology – Net benefits). This model was chosen because this model can provide an explanation and provide an evaluation of the factors that influence the implementation of a system at the University of Bina Insan Lubuklinggau in terms of Human (Human), Organization (Organization), Technology (Technology), and Net benefits. In addition, the success of implementing AMS (Academic Management System) at the University of Bina Insan Lubklinggau, is also influenced by the support and encouragement from universities to AMS (Academic Management System) users, as well as the availability of adequate facilities within the Bina Insan Lubuklinggau University to use AMS (Academic Management Systems). From the analysis that has been carried out on 80 respondents who have filled out the research questionnaire, the results show that to test the validity of the variables (Human), Organization (Organization), Technology (Technology), and Net benefit, it shows that each question measured on all variables is valid, which indicated by Corrected Item – Total Correlation or (rcount) the entire score of Corrected Item – Total Correlation or (rcount) greater than rtable of 0.220, and for the F test results obtained a value of F = 13.334 with a significance of 0.000. meaning that the variables of human, organization and technology together have a significant effect on net-benefit (Y).

Abstract

This research was conducted since the decline of sense of responsibility and the concern towards environment. The emergence of various natural disasters is caused by the hands of human itself in taking advantage of natural environment. The objective of this research is to reveal the teacher’s strategy in developing environmental care through simple science experiment. This research uses quantitative approach with survey method regarding to nature of science, simple science experiment, and caring attitude towards the environment. The research data were obtained online by using google form media. There were 224 of elementary school teacher as respondents that become sample of this research, the teachers were from different schools in West Java. The instruments used in this research are questionnaire related to implementation of nature of science and caring attitude towards the environment. The results showed that environmental care attitude to students that had been carried out frequently by the teacher through simple science experiment scored average value 38.5 %. Moreover, the research indicates there were several teachers who had never developing environmental care attitude to their students scored 5.25%. It shows that it is necessary to conduct alternative activity as an improving effort through teacher’s strategy in developing environmental care attitude towards elemntary school student through simple science experiment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the tendency of low critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The habit of memorizing and remembering material in books is one of the factors that influence it. This study aims to determine the critical thinking skills of elementary school students at each stage of the inductive thinking learning model. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The research participants involved 7 grade VI students in one of the public elementary schools in Cipongkor District, West Bandung Regency on animal breeding material. The instruments used in data collection were observation sheets and test questions. The research data were analyzed qualitatively through scoring and percentages based on the emergence of aspects of critical thinking indicators. The results showed that the average percentage of students' critical thinking skills indicators in the high category based on the results of the observation of the syntax of the inductive thinking learning model was 65,6%, and 67% based on the results of the description test. Thus, the researcher can conclude that the implementation of the inductive thinking learning model is effectively used to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah belum adanya sistem prediksi penyakit jantung yang dapat memudahkan proses penanganan dan identifikasi gejala penyakit jantung. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan proses ekstraksi pola gejala penyakit jantung berdasarkan data medis menggunakan model K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Proses pengolahan data penyakit jantung dengan algoritma KNN ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis data penyakit jantung berbasis machine learning. Dalam prediksi penyakit jantung, diperlukan sistem yang dapat membantu mengelola data terkait pengolahan citra medis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu melakukan klasifikasi jenis penyakit jantung, sehingga memudahkan proses penanganan medis. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan sistem machine learning dengan tools Python, di mana dalam pengolahan data terdapat tahapan yang berhubungan dengan pembagian data (splitting data) untuk menghasilkan akurasi yang optimal.

Abstract

Proses pengolahan data penyakit tumor otak dengan menggunakan MRI, dalam melihat perkembangan penyakit tumor otak maka perlu adanya suatu sistem yang dapat menganalisis penyakit tumor otak yang berhubungan akurasi, presisi dan juga recall yang akan membandingkan beberapa jenis penyakit tumor otak. Tujuan penelitian dapat melakukan deteksi tumor otak dengan melihat citra MRI pada hasil scannya, mempercepat hasil rekaman medis yang menggunakan MRI lebih cepat dan juga dapat menganalisis secara efektif dan efisien. Selain itu dalam mengembangkan kolaborasi untuk mengetahui letak atau posisi penyakit tumor dan berjenis apa penyakit tersebut. Klasifikasi tumor otak menggunakan arsitektur MobileNet telah menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian berbasis pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning). MobileNet, yang dikenal karena efisiensinya dalam penggunaan sumber daya dan akurasi yang tinggi, digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan berbagai jenis tumor otak dari citra Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). akurasi yang baik sambil tetap mempertahankan kecepatan pemrosesan yang tinggi. Dalam beberapa studi, model ini telah mencapai akurasi hingga 97% pada data pelatihan dan 94% pada data pengujian. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa MobileNet tidak hanya efisien tetapi juga efektif dalam mendeteksi dan mengklasifikasikan jenis tumor otak dengan baik.

Abstract

Air Lesing State Elementary School in Musi Rawas Regency is one of the primary schools that plays an important role in providing basic education for children in the region. As an educational institution that is committed to shaping character and providing basic knowledge, SD Negeri Air Lesing strives to provide a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning environment for its students. In the midst of the development of the times and the need for digital literacy, SD Negeri Air Lesing has also begun to strive to introduce information technology in learning. Although it is located in an area that may not be as developed as urban, it strives to provide equal access to education, as well as prepare students to be ready for the challenges of the modern era. This information technology learning is not only aimed at introducing tools and software to students, but also to build logical and critical thinking skills, and develop creativity. To introduce information technology to SD Negeri Air Lesing students through one of the drawing applications, namely the paint application. The problem that exists at SD Negeri Air Lesing has never learned to use technology so that technology for SD Negeri Air Lesing, they are still very unfamiliar, let alone the use of applications for drawing such as paint applications, They are still very unfamiliar, especially the use of applications for drawing such as the Paint application, so it is hoped that students can get to know and be able to implement the Paint application for drawing. This service was carried out directly, with the participation of 35 students, producing digital drawing artworks using the paint application. And 95% of students can already use it
