Abstract

Different physical features for people with physical disabilities from normal people in general make a person with physical disabilities a minority. Even so, however, women with disabilities still need to be confident in general to be able to live a life without being dependent on others. The question in this study is How do women with disabilities adapt in efforts to be independent in the city of Pekanbaru and what the types of independence of women with disabilities are.The goal of this research is to find out how the adaptation of women with disabilities in efforts to be independent as well as identify the types of independence of women with physical disabilities. Survey research was the technique used to determine the sources used. On the background of these conditions, 7 informants were identified as subjects of research on the independence of women with disabilities in Pekanbaru Area. The theory used in this analysis is the theory of adaptation by Robbert K. Merton and the theory of Independence by Havighurst. The results of this study are that like normal humans in general, women with disabilities still have to adapt to the goals and methods that have been set to achieve independence so that they do not depend on the people around them. Starting from adaptation to physical conditions, with their social environment and values and habits. Until the last adaptation, namely rebellion due to disagreeing with predetermined goals and methods. Meanwhile, the independence of women with disabilities is described by the ability to accept conditions, be able to interact and work according to ability as a sense of responsibility and are able to make decisions and be responsible for the decisions that have been taken. Keywords: Adaptation, Independence, Women with Disabilities

Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to determine the strategy of street prostitutes in getting customer and the way they interact and have relationships among prostitutes. The research methode to analyze the data in this study is using qualitative analysis. In urban areas, a problem that caused by society is a social problem. The problems that arise because of the diversity of the communities in this urban areas. Whether it's the diversity of race, culture, religion and so forth, among these problems there is the problem of prostitution, the prostitute problems are like mushrooms in the rainy season. Prostitutes are selling sexual services, such as oral sex or sexual intercourse to get the money. Pekanbaru is a crowded city with a lot of activities, although not included in big cities categories, but the capital city of riau is a bustling area with a bus main terminal, With so many crowded places in the downton of Pekanbaru, this is the places that many street prostitutes comes up every night. The majority age of street prostitutes in Pekanbaru is 28-32 years old. They were less educated, most of them was graduated from elementary school and come from  ​​Padang, Sukabumi, Tanjung Balai, Bandung. Furthermore, the majority of street prostitutes is worked individually, with revenue of Rp 100,000 to Rp 300,000 per night. There are so many strategies undertaken by the prostitutes to get customer, some of it is they wear sexy dress, scrubs, wearing wallet powder, herbal drinks, sports, flower bath and some of them also used implant. Interaction between them is very strong, both in terms of positive and negative terms. Interaction that occurs between them, whether it’s cooperation, competition and conflict. The majority of street prostitutes have another job during the day to look for additional money, in the evening they start to hung in the streets. The majority of street prostitutes is working as a street prostitute is for reasons of economic factor and uneducated factor. Keywords: prostitution, interaction, strategy

Abstract

Alcohol is considered as a lifestyle that requires them to make the drink as values and rules of the association itself, not only that, alcohol is also a lifestyle that demands women who are involved in work that is usually done in entertainment venues, one of which is women workers night which is demanded to drink alcohol and accompany its customers in a club or entertainment place that tends to sell liquor .. Informants who have been interviewed numbered five people namely the initials VC, MG, SR, SR, VR and BL. All five of them work as women workers at night entertainment venues and then with all the factors demanding that they have to drink alcohol so that it is now a habit or lifestyle. The lifestyle of informants as alcohol drinkers is marked by the first (activity) of daily informants who work in nightclubs every day, second (interest) informants about alcohol, the type of alcohol they like is usually diverse, some are bottled and mixed, third (opinions) informants about alcohol, according to them alcohol can bring pleasure, happiness even if only for a moment, this interesting phenomenon the author to make a discussion about the lifestyle of women who drink alcohol and what factors affect women drink alcohol in the city of Pekanbaru and then subsequently formulated in the title "Lifestyle of Women Drinking Alcohol in Pekanbaru City." Keywords: Women’s, Lifestyle, Alcohol

Abstract

Polygamy is the phenomenon of life going on around us. The term polygamy is often heard but not many people who can accept this situation. The word itself comes from the Greek polygamy "polygamie", namely poly meaning many and gamie means the men, so the meaning of polygamy is men who take more than one woman in the bonds of marriage. In districts Kerumutan Pelalawan khasus polygamy occur. However, according to the interview with the Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) local no husband reported to the local KUA second marriage. Because most of their second marriages performed outside the region and usually without the knowledge of his first wife. The first wife learned of her husband's second marriage after the husband's second wife brought to the area. Most people did not make polygamy, but some people do not agree with the incident. This study aims to determine the division of the implementation of family function in families that practice polygamy, by taking the focus on one family in which the husband to practice polygamy to have four wives. The research method in this research is descriptive research method. Descriptive research is research that aims to uncover the facts, circumstances, and phenomena. Abstract

The research about " Dawn Education of the As-Salam Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) in Pekanbaru." Formulation of the problem that how the dissemination of religious values through education of the dawn of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) As-Salam in Pekanbaru? How the influence of religious values in the activity patterns of children behaviour in Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) As-Salam in Pekanbaru? This research aims to explain about how the process of socialization and the effect on the child's behavior, students after graduating from MDTA As-Salam. The research used Qualitative methods. The subject in this study is as much as eight children. There are some techniques of Data collection that document, observation and interview. The result of this research shows that there is no problems of process of socialization in MDTA As-Salam, everything went smoothly and easily. But, only the problem of the children in the study, and the effect on what brings the child against the behaviour, be it in terms of implementing the prayers, the Qur’an, as well as akhlaq, memorizing prayers/surah read taught. Whether it was all digested and aplicated? or only practiced just in school surroundings while out of school is no longer in practise. Abstract

The tradition of hunting pigs is an activity carried out by the people in Nagari Limbanang. This tradition is carried out every week with different implementing areas. This tradition is a physical activity that uses hunting dogs as their main weapon. These dogs are dogs that have been trained in hunting pigs. The research entitled "The Tradition of Hunting Pig in Nagari Limbanang Communities in Suliki District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency", this paper is the result of in-depth research on the implementation processes of the tradition of hunting pigs in Nagari Limbanang, the meaning contained in the hunting tradition, as well as the benefits that can be obtained from implementing the tradition of hunting pigs. This research uses qualitative research methods with purposive sampling technique. The data in this study were obtained through direct observation and interviews from predetermined informants, such as principal, non-farmer hunters, hunters from a farmer background and young hunters. The results showed that the tradition of hunting pigs was carried out to assist farmers in eradicating wild boar pests that often bother them. There are several processes that hunters will go through in carrying out this tradition of hunting pigs, such as the initial process, the process when hunting, and the process after hunting. The meanings contained in the traditions also vary, all depending on the way the hunter views the tradition of hunting pigs. Likewise with the benefits that will be obtained, everything returns to the hunter's perspective on the tradition of hunting pigs, there are material benefits and non-material benefits.    Key words: Tradition, hog hunting, hunter

Abstract

This research examines the role of Community Empowerment Institutions in improving welfare in Karya Indah village, Tapung sub-district, Kampar district. Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) is one vehicle for community participation formed with the aim of empowering the community in a village which in this case is focused on the economy. The program from (LPM) itself which is related to empowering the community in the economic sector is a waste bank and also sewing. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method, the authors conducted a questionnaire to obtain data on the role of community empowerment institutions (LPM) in improving welfare in the village of indah indah tapung sub-district Kampar district with a sample of 62 people with a sampling technique that is simple random sampling. The results of this study indicate that the Community Empowerment Institution has formed two programs to improve the community's economy, namely garbage banks and sewing, and currently (LPM) Desa Karya Indah has not been able to provide its role to the maximum, which is seen as no increase in the economy or the provision of income for the affected villages. share existing aspects. Keyword : Community Empowerment Institutions, Program, Role

Abstract

This study examines the Impact of the Kampung Berseri Asta (KBA) Program on the Socio-Economic in Jorong Tabek, Nagari Talang Babungo, Solok Regency. Kampung Berseri Astra (KBA) is one of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs of PT. Astra International Tbk. which is implemented in people’s lives by using four main programs, namely: Education, health, economy, and the environment in Jorong Tabek. The Kampung Berseri Asta (KBA) Program is a guidance, improvement program to create smart, healthy, productive and clean villages by utilizing the potential of the village. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method, the authors distributed questionnaires to obtain data about the impact of the Astra series village program on the socio-economic community in Jorong Tabek with a sample of 86 people with cluster  sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that Kampung Berseri Asta (KBA) Program from PT. Astra International Tbk. give impact and change from the Astra Sereri Village Program (KBA) which has been seen from the flagship program in four main pillars namely, Education, Health, Economy and Living Environment. Abstract

This research was conducted in Simpang Baru Village, Tampan Sub-district, Pekanbaru with the title Social Control Function on Boarding House. This research was intended to know how boarding house rules, what was done by the people or the owner in implementing boarding house regulation, and to know the social punishment that given by society to violator. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject in this study was needed 25 people consist of the community, public figure, boarding houses, local youth, the house boardingers and the RT / RW that can help the researcher in the issues that discuss. The determination technique of the subject in this research was used purposive sampling that adjusted to research’s purpose. The researcher collected the data by using guidelines. The results show that there are social control effort by the social control agents to avoid undesirable events in a boarding house environment which can disrupt the security, peace and tranquility of citizens. Kinds of control are performed from night patrols, deliberations, raids, written regulations and sanctions. In the implementation control of the house boardingers in the Simpang Baru villages run ineffective because of the bustle of society around the boarding house so they don’t really care with the boarding house around them. Lack of supervision by the owner of the boarding house around Simpang Baru Village caused wind deviation behavior of the boardingers. But the deviation made by the boardingers still classified in a light deviation and the limits of reasonableness. Abstract

Regency Kuantan District Singingi is located in Riau Province, Regency Kuantan Singingi rich in natural resources one of which is gold, to make panning for gold grains in this region as one of the people's livelihood to meet the needs of their daily lives.Works as a gold prospector with an income that barely is hard to imagine with such conditions how they can afford welfare of the family, educate their children, and live with the necessities of life are now all hyper-expensive, the theory used is edi sunarto, about survival strategies, and research methods used are a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews.The results showed that there are three strategies used to survive a gold prospector, namely: strategy of active, passive strategy and network strategy. Active strategy carried a gold prospector is to find another job, the family members to come to work and optimize available resources. Passive strategy carried a gold prospector that is by adopting a frugal life. Network strategy which carried gold panners are asked for help from family or neighborKeywords : Strategy Active, Passive Strategy, Network Strategy.
