Abstract

The policies of a company or industry are needed to increase productivity, efficiency, and income. The purpose of this study was to determine the policies used by an MSME in Dumai named Caffein. In addition, to help find solutions to existing problems from each policy that has been made. This data collection technique was carried out by interviewing the owners of Caffeine MSMEs. The policy made by MSME owners at the beginning of the covid-19 hit was to reduce employees and reduce tools and materials. When covid-19 began to subside, Caffeine customers increased. Caffeine's situation is understaffed and causes the service to be out of control. From each policy that is determined, there are still problems that make the Caffeine MSME owners have to change their policies again. This study shows that each policy made by the owner of MSMEs has its own impact.

Abstract

Abstract

Every business actor who runs a business will establish relationships with other business actors. These relationships are formed into a chain known as a supply chain. In order for the company's supply chain activities to run optimally, of course a strategy is needed. One strategy that can be utilized is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This study aims to determine the effect of ERP system-based supply chain management in improving the performance of PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques were used in this study to process data into information. Where the data used is sourced from the annual report and company sales. From this research it can be seen that the supply chain of PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk. This is complex because it involves various parties from the beginning of the process to the end of the distribution process, it can run effectively and because it has implemented several strategies, namely mitigation strategies, performance strategies and also the development of EVO diplomat products. In addition, the influence of the ERP system applied to the supply chain of PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk. quite significant to the company's financial performance, namely inventory turnover, GPM, OPM, NPM, ROA, and ROE. These results are obtained from the results of the analysis of the company's financial statement data analysis with financial ratios.

Abstract

Batam's economic growth has decreased in recent years. As one of the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) areas that are very possible to attract investors from abroad to make Foreign Investments (PMA), Batam City should have great economic growth. With this, it encourages the author to conduct research in order to determine the factors causing the decline in economic growth in Batam City. Where to obtain information, we use descriptive quantitative methods. The information obtained can be seen that Foreign Investment (PMA) greatly affects the economic growth rate of Batam City. The decline in PMA, the Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) also decreased. So that it can be one of the determining factors for the size of the UMR in Batam City. The decline in PMA is due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation and overlapping regulations between the two agencies, namely BP Batam and Pemko Batam. Therefore, the author would like to recommend in order to clarify the law (regulation) between BP Batam and Pemko Batam. So as not to cause inconvenience to investors due to overlapping regulations.

Abstract

Abstrak Fokus utama perusahaan perbankan dalam menjaga keberlangsungan diera globalisasi tetap terletak pada Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Meskipun dilengkapi dengan fasilitas modern, kelancaran operasional perusahaan tetap bergantung pada keberadaan sumber daya manusia  yang berkompeten. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa SDM menjadi kunci pokok yang harus dipertahankan untuk mencapai hasil yang diharapkan. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak dari variabel-variabel seperti kepemimpinan, kompensasi, kompetensi, gaji, kemudahan penggunaan fasilitas dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada perusahaan perbankan di kota Batam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden yang bekerja di perusahaan perbankan yang ada di kota Batam. Jumlah sampel responden yang diterima adalah 304 responden. Peneliti memilih 3 bank yang mencetak laba terbesar sepanjang 2021 yang terdapat di Indonesia, bank tersebut diantaranya PT. Bank Central Asia  (BCA), PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) dan PT. Bank Mandiri. Data penelitian yang teilah dipeiroleih diolah meingguinakan aplikasi SMART PLS (Partial Leiast Squiarei). Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan, kompensasi, gaji, kemudahan penggunaan fasilitas dan lingkungan kerja memiliki hubungan yang signifikan positif terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan. Dengan begitu diharapkan pada manajemen perusahaan jasa perbankan dapat mempertimbangkan semua variabel yang telah diteliti untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dan juga keberhasilan suatu perusahaan. Kata kunci: kepemimpinan; kompensasi; gaji; kemudahan penggunaan fasilitas; lingkungan kerja Abstract The main focus of banking companies in maintaining sustainability in the era of globalization still lies in Human Resources (HR). Although equipped with modern facilities, the smooth operation of the company still depends on the existence of competent human resources. This shows that HR is the main key that must be maintained to achieve the expected results. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of variables such as leadership, compensation, competence, salary, ease of use of facilities and work environment on employee performance in banking companies in Batam city. This research was conducted using quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to respondents who work in banking companies in the city of Batam. The number of respondent samples received was 304 respondents. Researchers chose 3 banks that made the biggest profits throughout 2021 in Indonesia, these banks include PT Bank Central Asia (BCA), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) and PT Bank Mandiri. The research data that has been obtained is processed using the SMART PLS (Partial Leiast Squiarei) application. The results of this study prove that the variables of leadership, compensation, salary, ease of use of facilities and work environment have a significant positive relationship to employee performance variables. That way it is hoped that the management of banking service companies can consider all the variables that have been studied to be able to improve employee performance and also the success of a company. Keywords : leadership; compensation; salary; ease of use of facilities; work environment
