Abstract

 Pakaian bekas impor telah marak diperdagangkan di Indonesia meskipun pakaian bekas impor merupakan barang ilegal menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2014 dan Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan Indonesia Nomor 51/M-Dag/Per/7/2015.  Perdagangan pakaian bekas impor bukan hanya dijual di pasar tradisional saja melainkan juga terdapat di pasar modern. Pakaian bekas impor jual bebas secara konvensional maupun secara online oleh para pedagang pakaian bekas impor. Gedung C lantai 2 Pasar Senapelan merupakan pusat perdagangan pakaian bekas impor di kota Pekanbaru. Pakaian bekas impor merupakan limbah fast fashion yang masuk kedalam negara Indonesia. Tren mode vintage menjadi faktor yang membuat peminat pakaian bekas impor tidak pernah habis karena dapat menjangkau pakaian klasik, pakaian dengan merek branded dan pakaian langka dapat ditemukan dengan harga yang sangat murah. Membeli pakaian bekas impor disebut dengan istilah thrifting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi yang dilakukan pedagang pakaian bekas impor dalam menjual pakaian besar di Pasar Senapelan kota Pekanbaru di tengah banyaknya pedagang yang menjual pakaian bekas impor. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 5 narasumber dari 262 pedagang pakaian bekas impor yang berada di gedung C lantai 2 di Pasar Senapelan kota Pekanbaru. Melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi penelitian berhasil menemukan dan memperoleh faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pedagang memilih pakaian bekas impor sebagai barang yang dijual serta bentuk strategi berdagang pakaian bekas impor yang dilakukan pedagang di Pasar Senapelan kota Pekanbaru. Kata Kunci: Strategi, Berdagang, Marak, Ilegal, Tren, Thrifting.

Abstract

This research discusses the change in employment from agriculture to mining in Tanah Bekali Village, Pangean District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research was motivated by rubber plantations, rice fields that were used as unlicensed gold mining (PETI) so that there was a transfer of land from agriculture to mining as well as changes in people's livelihoods, and caused consumptive behavior. Peti's activities are illegal as well as a risk to people's lives that will come, due to the depletion of gold content. The reason people make their land a mining location is because of the fall in rubber prices, while agriculture, especially rubber plantations, is the community's mainstay source of income. This research is carried out using qualitative research methods. The selection of informants in this study used purposive sampling techniques. Data types are primary data and secondary data. The method of data collection is carried out in three ways: observation, interviews and documentation. The results of research after the change in employment from agriculture to mining is that the socio-economic community increases with evidence that people can build permanent homes and buy vehicles. And its survival can be fulfilled every day compared to before becoming a rubber farmer.Keywords: Socio - economic, Miner, Job Change

Abstract

This research was conducted at the University of Riau precisely in the secretariat of BEM University of Riau. Differences in views between students who follow organizations and students who do not follow the organization that causes authors interested in researching this issue. With the formulation of how the influence of organizational activity on the achievements of the Board of BEM University of Riau and what are its factors. The purpose of the study to determine the effect of organizational activity on learning achievement. The theory used is organization theory, interaction theory, motivation theory, achievement theory by using descriptive Quantitative research method. How to get data by observation and questionnaire. The results of this study can be known the influence of organizational activity on learning achievement and the factors that influence it. In this study note that organizational activity has a positive influence on the board that follows it. One of the positive effects yag gained is able to manage the time between organizations with college, good communication. The influence is influenced by several factors, both internal and external. Internal factors come from self like parents, front masses, competition and confidence. While external factors such as friends, thinking patterns and views, the soul of competition and organizational experience.Keywords: Organizational Activity, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Globalization has in fact become one of the major components as a driver of the world to be more advanced, especially in the field of technology. In the current era technology has developed very rapidly as evidenced by the birth of Financial Technology (fintech), one of which is a Paylater that relies on the label of an application called Shopee Paylater. Life Style from a shopping style is a proof of self-image for the surrounding environment. This study was conducted to find out more about online shopping behavior using the Shopee Paylater feature in adolescents, especially students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Riau University. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method using a phenomenological approach. The results of the study wereobtained from interviews with resource persons and also using comparisons from studies that have been studied previously. The influence of lifestyle and social in fact really greatly affects the use of Shopee Paylater and also affects the behavior or shopping behavior patterns of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Riau. Paylater itself is centered or intended to focus more on students with all the worries that often occur at the end of the month. Students who tend to like shopping with Shopee Paylater make their lifestyle more consumptive, and the use of Shopee Paylater occurs because of social influences todevelop self-image, friends or close relatives, as well as the advantages offered from the Shopee application. Abstract

The development of convicts is an integral part of the law enforcement process, with the existence of a correctional system, it is hoped that Prison Inmates can become fully human regardless of the crimes they have committed, are aware of their mistakes, can improve themselves, and have no intention of repeating crimes again. However, the problem we are currently facing is that we still encounter or hear about perpetrators of crimes who are "relapsed" or are still committing crimes again, which are called recidivists. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the implementation of coaching in Correctional Institutions for recidivist convicts. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to implement coaching in correctional institutions for recidivist convicts. The method that researchers use in this study is a qualitative research method. The informants contained in this study were Correctional Officers in the coaching section and Correctional Assisted Residents. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews and observation. The analysis technique of this research uses Miles and Huberman to collect data, reduce data, and present data. The theory used to analyze the research findings is the structural functionalism theory from Talcott Parsons and the total institutional perspective according to Erving Goffman. Based on the results of the research, it was obtained: (1) The implementation of coaching in Class II B Correctional Institutions in Payakumbuh City for recidivist convicts has been running effectively and in accordance with correctional goals, (2) Obstacles faced during the implementation of coaching include internal factors from Prison Assisted Residents, and the excess residential capacity of Correctional Institutions. Abstract

This thesis is proposed to qualify for a Bachelor of Sociology degree. With the title "Political Participation Society In Head Man Election In Village Berancah District Bantan Bengkalis District". The problem discussed in this thesis is the participation of the community in the election of head man in 2017 and the influence of people's political understanding of their participation in the political activities they participate in and in determining a leader. Public participation in choosing a leader is an investment in politics by the community in order to improve or memajukkan again area.This research was conducted in Berancah Village of Bantan District of Bengkalis Regency. In this study used the functional structural theory of Talcot Parson, this theory explains that every individual in society has its own function. And in carrying out these functions people have different goals that will be achieved. Achievement of goals by society can be done in various forms depending on the path chosen by a particular society or individual.The results of the study generally can be said that most of the people participated in the selection of head man in 2017 in Berancah Village. In this case it is said that the society has done its function in the life of the state to participate in choosing a leader. In addition, the community is also involved in several other political activities such as campaigning on head man elections and other elections and participate in other social activities in socializing. The political understanding of the community is very important for the public assessment in choosing a leader or for public policy issued by the government. The higher of political understanding of the society, the more critical the community will be in addressing the political phenomenon that exist in the environment.Keywords: community, political participation

Abstract

This study was conducted at Desa Karya Indah Kecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar. The purpose of this study is to know knowing the trigger factor of the occurrence of Conflict Between the In-laws of Women And Mother-In-House In Batak Tribe Living at Desa Karya Indah Kecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar. The focus of this research is the form of conflict between the daughter-in-law and the mother-in-law in the Batak tribe who live at home at Desa Karya Indah Kecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar. The technique of determining samples in a purposive sampling and set the number of samples as many as 5 people. The author uses qualitative descriptive method and Instrument data is observation, interview and documentation. Research conducted at Desa Karya Indah has been completed by drawing some final conclusions as follows: The forms of conflict between the in-laws and the law-in-law are Role Conflicts, the role conflict that occurs as a result of the expectation of a son-in-law and his father-in-law is inconsistent with his wish or reality, The pressure experienced by a son-in-law. Realistic conflict, the realistic conflict form of this research is the closed attitude of the in-laws, the views of the in-laws with the insensitivity of the inborn to the wishes of his father-in-law, Interpersonal Conflict, Interpersonal Conflict between law and law-in-law as the attitude of in-laws who still believe in the beliefs in the village, speaking son-in-law comes from a soft-spoken family but a determined in-laws, and an attitude of non-disclosure and distrust. Factor that triggered the conflict can be from the results of research that is done, the relation of big family, the relation between the couple, discomfort in the household. The inconvenience of research subjects in the household such as the controls that are at home in the hands of his father-in-law, and the kerisihan that occurred from the daughter-in-law due to interfere in-law in his household.Keywords: Conflict, Interpersonal, Interpersonal, Daughter, Factor

Abstract

Satu suro night tradition is a tradition which is held on the turnover eve of Islamic new year 1 Muharram which is better known as Suroan for Javanese community. Each region has difference way to perform this tradition. It has been done since long ago by an association of Javanese family located in Kampar regency with the name is Ikatan Keluarga Jawa Riau (IKJR). The purpose of this research was to analyze the process or the implementation of Satu suro night tradition by IKJR, and to analyze the meaning, value contained, and the impact of it. In this research, the researcher used qualitative research type or often called as naturalistic research methods because the research was done on natural conditions. The subjects of this research were determined by Purposive Sampling way that consists of Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice Chairman of DPD-IKJR Kampar regency, and also the Head of Suka Mulya SP II Village. The researcher used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to collect the data. In this research, the researcher had analyzed how this Satu suro night tradition was done by IKJR region Kampar. Based on the interviews and observations that had been done, the researcher found that IKJR conducted the tradition by holding various social activities before the evening peak of Satu suro night tradition held, and on the evening peak was also held various activities ranging from dance offerings, Kampar bersholawat, to all-night shadow puppet performances. The meaning that could be taken from this tradition was to thrill the Javanese culture (menguri-uri budoyo Jowo). The most important was as an expression of gratitude for the favors that had been given by Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala and gratitude for a better life after doing transmigration from Java to Riau. This tradition also had a very positive impact for the people who attended it and also for the merchants who peddled their wares.Keywords: Tradition, Satu Suro, Javanese

Abstract

This study was conducted on transvestites at Panam Jalan Soebrantas Kota Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to analyze the driving factors into transvestites at Panam Jalan Soebrantas Kota Pekanbaru. The focus of this study is to analyze the profile of transsexual life at Panam Jalan Soebrantas Kota Pekanbaru.  Sampling technique in this study is snowball sampling and set the number of samples as many as 6 people. The author uses qualitative methods and Instruments data is observation, interview and documentation guide. According to research that has been done can be concluded that the profile of transvestites, among others, the average age of twenty years to fifty years. The subject of this study can be said to have deviant behavior to become a transvestite that occurs among adolescents and adult age, some of them become transsexuals because experiencing same-sex sexual traumatic and there is also a congenital from a small and then experience same-sex sexual relations on the basis of likes like. After doing research it is known that the average of transvestites have a good level of education, even one of the respondents is an activist movers of transvestites, and there are some transvestites who have achievements such as following the congregation when still in high school and after graduating high school. even among those who have attended college even though only two semesters. One of the six respondents is the original residents of Pekanbaru the rest comes from different places and not the natives but the migrants. In terms of transgender work is very tends to work disalon and as a prostitute, singer, and private employees. From the various profei they earn an average of three million rupiah to ten million rupiah per month. In the religious side of the average transvestites are Muslim, only one of them is Christian. They are transvestites who are still obedient to certain religious teachings have confidence.   Keywords: Transvestite, Transsexual

Abstract

This research was conducted in Jorong III Kampung Nagari Gadut Tilatang Kamang District Agam District. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of Ninik Mamak in monitoring the ulayat land in Jorong III Kampuang Nagari Gadut Tilatang Kamang District Agam Regency and analyze why the land can be sold. The technique of determining the sample by purposive sampling because the author has set some criteria of the subject that will be used as a source of information in research that will be done as many as 5 (five) people. The author uses qualitative descriptive method and data instrument that is observation, in-depth interview and documentation. The results of this study found that ulayat land belonging to this people can be sold to outsiders because there are several causes, namely the reason for the urgent need, because it can not redeem the previously pawned land, and the next reason is not have a sister (extinct). The role of Ninik Mamak in the control of ulayat land is to preserve the treasures as well as to preserve, explain to the child's nephew in all heritage treasures of his own people and supervise in the form of sharing of results.
