Abstract

This article aims to describe the efforts to empower parents in improving the results of tahfidz Al-Quran and at the Raudlatul Athfal Islamiyah institution in Ngasem Bojonegoro. This article uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are: 1. Efforts to empower students' parents to improve the results of tahfidz al-quran and hadith at the Raudlatul Athfal Islamiyah Ngasem Bojonegoro institution occur through increasing parental awareness of their role as guardians of students in order to shape personalities towards the goodness and happiness of students. The empowerment of guardians of students is triggered by the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the Yahqi method which focuses on the involvement of guardians of students in addition to the use of tone and movement in memorizing short letters of the Koran and short hadiths. 2. Obstacles and obstacles that accompany the empowerment of guardians in improving the results of tahfidz al-quran and hadith at the Raudlatul Athfal Ngasem Bojonegoro institution consist of obstacles to the guardians of students, obstacles to managerial aspects and obstacles to psychological technical aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) in the context of divorce, alimony, and children's rights in Indonesia, as well as its relationship to the principles of Maqashid Syariah. The primary focus of this research is to explore how KHI is applied in religious courts and the challenges faced in its implementation. The findings indicate that although KHI provides a clear legal framework for handling divorce cases and post-divorce rights, its implementation is still influenced by inconsistent understanding among judges, differences in socio-cultural norms, and weak law enforcement mechanisms. Economic and social factors also play a significant role in the difficulties of fulfilling alimony and child custody after divorce. From the perspective of Maqashid Syariah, the study reveals that the application of KHI often does not fully consider the principles of protecting life, property, and lineage, which should be the primary goals in every legal decision. This research suggests the need for enhanced training for judges, stronger enforcement mechanisms, and better integration of Islamic law with Indonesian socio-cultural values to ensure the achievement of more substantial justice.

Abstract

Most teachers at MIN 5 Magelang have difficulty creating HOTS (high order thinking skills) questions due to limited conceptual understanding, lack of specialized training, limited time, and scarce learning resources. These factors make it challenging for teachers to design questions with a high cognitive level that align with Bloom's taxonomy and the learning context. Learning assessment skills are among the essential competencies teachers must possess. Compiling HOTS questions is a critical skill for teachers in the 21st century to prepare students for future challenges. This community service employs a unique service learning method by applying concentrated experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. This approach emphasizes collaboration and real-life experience, enabling teachers not only to learn theory but also to practice together. The results show an increase in learning assessment skills in compiling HOTS questions based on various indicators, including understanding HOTS questions, their characteristics, question levels, and Bloom's taxonomy.
