Abstract

Camming Pulengis the name of a character in folklore, entitled Camming Puleng. Folklore is an oral story told by the narrator to the listener. In this way, folklore can be spread widely in the community. However, nowadays folklore has been widely recorded or published to be preserved so that it does not become extinct. This study aims to describe the values of local wisdom in the Camming Puleng story with a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnopragmatic approach. Ethnopragmatics is a point of view that can be used to understand folklore in the frame of ethnic insight. The results of the analysis show that the female character in Camming Puleng presents two sides of human character values that are different from each other, namely the value of the character of patience (asabbarakeng) and the value of the character of cunning (pabbelleng). The two sides of character values need to be known by readers because they can be one of the determinants in the success of social life in the world and provision of the hereafter.

Abstract

The highway is an essential facility for the community to achieve its goal, so the community needs a safe and convenient road, and it is expected to improve the industry and the economy of the community. However, over time, the condition of the highway will decrease according to the age of the road, and it will be an obstacle for their trip. This research is conducted to see the condition of the damaged surface flexible stiffening in Jl. Raya Dumaja - Jl. Raya Tanah Merah, Kab. Bangkalan. The method used in this study is the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method to evaluate road stiffening by type, level, and level of damage that occurs, as well as a reference and maintenance effort. The result of this research based on the PCI method is JL. Raya Dumaja -Jl. Raya Tanah Merah STA, 32 + 000 - 35 + 000, gets a total score of 53.68 medium (Fair) with a PCI percentage of the highest road conditions is 45% in good road conditions (Good), 38.3% in medium road conditions (Fair), 15% in bad road conditions (Poor) and very bad (Very Poor), 1.67% with the alternative handling is the treatment of abilities.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Ilmu Pengetahuan; Sumber Ilmu; Epistemologi Islam; Al-Qur’an; Hadis Abstract In Islam, knowledge is understood as a divine trust that is not solely derived from human reason and empirical experience, but also from revelation as conveyed through the Qur’an and Hadith. However, contemporary scientific development often exhibits epistemological fragmentation by separating rational, empirical, and spiritual dimensions of knowledge. This study aims to comprehensively examine the concept of knowledge and its sources from the perspectives of the Qur’an and Hadith, as well as to analyze their relevance for contemporary knowledge development. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library-based method, analyzing Qur’anic verses, Hadith, and classical as well as contemporary scholarly works related to Islamic epistemology. The findings reveal that Islamic epistemology recognizes three primary and interconnected sources of knowledge: qauliyyah verses (revelation), kauniyyah verses (the universe), and insaniyyah verses (human experience). These sources form an integrated and holistic framework that guides the acquisition and application of knowledge. The study concludes that the development of knowledge in Islam must remain grounded in ethical, spiritual, and humanistic values to ensure that knowledge contributes not only to worldly progress but also to transcendental and moral objectives. Thus, Islamic epistemology offers an integrative solution to contemporary epistemological challenges. Keywords: Knowledge; Sources of Knowledge; Islamic Epistemology; Qur’an; Hadith

Abstract

Event notification systems play a crucial role in supporting academic and student organizational activities. However, many institutions still rely on monolithic architectures with synchronous processing that are unable to handle spikes in communication loads, resulting in high latency and reduced delivery reliability. This study proposes a notification system based on Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) integrated with a microservices environment to improve the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of information dissemination, particularly through the WhatsApp Business API as the primary communication channel. The proposed system leverages asynchronous event processing, distributed message brokers, and isolated gateway services to enable parallel message delivery while addressing external service constraints such as rate limiting. The system is evaluated within a single controlled experimental setup using 1,011 notification messages under consistent workload conditions. For comparison purposes, a simulated synchronous baseline is used to represent the characteristics of traditional sequential processing systems. The results show that the EDA-based system achieved a 100% delivery success rate with an average latency of 3,222 ms and a stable throughput of 17 messages per second, while the simulated baseline exhibits limitations in maintaining performance under the same conditions. These findings indicate that the proposed architecture improves system performance within the evaluated experimental context and demonstrates strong potential for scalable real-time communication in controlled deployment environments.
