Abstract

Acoustics is an interdisciplinary science concerned with studying all mechanical waves in gases, liquids, and solids, including vibration, ultrasound, sound, and infrasound. The study of acoustic function is growing to be important today. In the conditions of the development of an all-artificial civilization, it turns out that complementary electronic ornaments are still very dependent on the level of success with the form of the structure and composition of the room itself. The problem arises when an adjustment on one side, intended for improvement, actually shifts the ideal coordinates on the other side. For this reason, a comprehensive adjustment and correction idea should emerge as a solution, with acoustic studies as a starting point. This study tries to describe the ideal design based on investigations and observations of the actual condition of the National University cyber library auditorium and tries to determine the suitable material for the room. The stages carried out in the research can be adapted to the needs of the study. This step is to get the most comprehensive results with the most effective and efficient measures. Integrated software and trial and error analysis are also part of the research method. It was found that the new design of the National University’s cyber library auditorium has good acoustic insulation with some adjustments that are still possible to get the ideal standardization of the room.

Abstract

One of the branches of linguistics that are most actively used and the most widely questioned is Sociolinguistics. Sociolinguistics is a linguistics science that seeks to express the values of life that are revealed in language. Sociolinguistics is stuck in the study of language, which is purely empirical. This assessment can be observed when sociolinguistics only comes to the study of language, which reveals the linguistic system. It is essential to point out the other side of sociolinguistics that has not been explored, namely the aspect of language meaning. In this case, philosophical approach tries to challenge the existence of sociology concerning the role and function of sociolinguistics itself. Through literature study, Hermeneutics and heuristics are consistently and consistently used as the basis for the research method in this case. The research that forms the basis for writing this scientific article begins with a study with literature observations. It can be concluded that sociolinguistics must start to view language as a form of culture that becomes a social system and acts as a tool for human development.

This study tries to explain the impact of the learning method based on Multisensory Stimulation therapy and then evaluates the results of the application of Multisensory Stimulation therapy in patients with Transcortical Aphasia. This research uses a crossbreed approach that uses qualitative and quantitative perspectives reciprocally. The type of research used is classroom accomplish research. This study concludes that the learning method based on Multisensory Stimulation therapy has a significant positive impact. However, the development of strategies, tactics, and learning models based on Multisensory Stimulation also needs to be developed, actualized, and coordinated according to the principles of effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract

This research discusses Alternative Energy Cultivation Regulations in Overcoming the Energy Crisis, which are discussed from International Relations. In formulating national regulations that include foreign policy, energy is one of the issues discussed because it is related to many people's lives. The energy potential will significantly influence Indonesia's foreign policy. Energy plays a critical role because energy is the driving force for a country's economic sector. Increased cultivation will increase the need for energy as well. Countries that control energy will become strong and superpower. Indonesia is very concerned about the issue of energy supply security given the increasing energy consumption in Indonesia, the scarcity of energy supplies, and the tendency of rising energy prices. This condition is exacerbated because almost a quarter of the domestic oil demand must be imported from other countries. Therefore, Indonesia must find the most appropriate way to ensure the availability of naturally hospitable energy. The research method is a qualitative descriptive method. The conclusion drawn from this research is the interdependence of all world energy actors.

Abstract

Betawi language, the original language of Jakarta's indigenous population, is currently facing a critical situation due to the rapid progress and changes in the city's social and cultural landscape. This predicament underscores the urgent need for strong and effective strategies to preserve this linguistic heritage. This concern stems from concerns that the extinction of the Betawi language will result in failure to pass on the valuable traditions, technology, cultural norms and customs of the Betawi people to future generations. The loss of such a civilization signals the collapse of a rich and unique cultural heritage. This research was designed to examine the current health and vitality of the Betawi language, using the disciplines of Social Semiotics, Demography and Sociology as the methodological framework. Rather than relying solely on quantitative data, this research uses a qualitative approach to capture particular intricacies, nuances, and preferences regarding language use and meaning. The findings of this research indicate that the Betawi language is more vulnerable today than in the past, and this decline has severe consequences for the Betawi community. Despite these challenges, educational interventions show promise in helping to preserve the language. In the future, it is important to develop a comprehensive strategy for preserving the Betawi language that involves the collaboration of various stakeholders in various sectors.

Abstract

The presence of Generation Z (Gen Z) marks a major change in society, because they are the first group to be born and raised in the digital era. Although often referred to as "digital natives" are supposed to be highly proficient in digital technology, their level of digital literacy is still a topic of debate. This generation has been widely exposed to the internet and portable digital devices, which has shaped their worldview and communication patterns. Gen Z's reliance on electronic technology has resulted in a decline in traditional activities such as reading books, which impacts a number of cognitive and socioeconomic factors including vocabulary development, attention span, academic performance, and future economic productivity. This behavioral shift not only changes Gen Z's lifestyle, but also impacts language use and the evolution of semantics. For example, the word 'dog', which previously referred to a four-legged mammal often used as a pet or guard, has experienced a shift in meaning in the Gen Z lexicon. Now, 'dog' is often used as an additional suffix in various sentences in their communications. This linguistic phenomenon reflects a broader trend of semantic decay, in which words acquire new connotations or functions in contemporary discourse. Understanding the implications of this linguistic evolution is critical for educators, policy makers, and linguists. This report highlights the importance of adapting educational and communicative strategies to meet the needs of a generation growing up digitally influenced. By studying the complex interactions between technology, language, and social norms, we can gain valuable insights into the dynamics shaping the linguistic landscape of the 21st century.
