Abstract

Mesin auto cutting merupakan mesin pemotongan kain dengan mengikuti pola yang terdapat pada kertas marker atau kain secara otomatis dengan digerakkan oleh sistem komputer yang dapat mengontrol jalannya proses produksi. Ketepatan dan kebersihan pemotongan menjadi persyaratan terhadap kualitas hasil pemotongan. Untuk mencapai proses pemotongan kain yang baik, salah satu bagian penting yang harus diperhatikan adalan penggunaan pisau potong. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan percobaan terhadap penggunaan pisau potong decagonal dengan ukuran 45 mm untuk mendapatkan usia pakai pisau potong dengan memperhatikan cutting length. Setelah melakukan penelitian usia pakai pisau potong mesin autocutting  diperoleh kesimpulan  bahwa total panjang cutting length sampai pisau tidak dapat memotong dengan sempurna  adalah Cutting length 6760,03 meter untuk gramasi kain 209 gsm dan Cutting length 6341,25 meter untuk gramasi kain 216 gsm.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The use of hand looms - Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin (ATBM) in Indonesian textile SMEs spread across various regions in Indonesia. The ATBM can be used to produce traditional woven cloth and other textile crafts. The shuttle weft insetion system in ATBM is recognized as a revolutionary step and has a major impact on traditional weaving. A research on a prototype of an ATBM has been carried out by modifying the drawer section so that it is possible to use the three-shuttles while weaving. This research aims to measure the usability of the three-shuttles ATBM to make fabric with color motifs in the width direction. Four operators were recruited as respondents to conduct the experiment. The respondents were asked to weave the yarn dyed fabric with three weft colors and to respond the 30 item statements in the USE questionnaire that described four variables : usability, ease of use, ease of learn and satisfaction. The results showed that the level of usability of the three-shuttles ATBM was 62,78% (feasible). Keywords: ATBM, The three-shuttles ATBM, usability.

Abstract

PT X yarn warehouse have various leftover yarns of different types, colors, and yarn numbers. These leftover yarns can be reused for small-scale production. However, the problem in PT X's yarn warehouse is the difficulty in finding yarns due to their stacked positions and the lack of identification on the yarn piles. As a result, the search time for yarns in the warehouse becomes lengthy, affecting production efficiency. The average search time for one leftover production yarn is 20 minutes and 27 seconds. This study aims to design and implement a QR Code system for organizing raw materials in the yarn warehouse to reduce yarn search time. The research method begins with data collection of the yarns in the warehouse. Next, warehouse organization is carried out by grouping and placing the yarns based on type, color, and yarn number on designated racks. The collected data will form a database in an addressing document in Google AppSheet. Warehouse employees can do scanning the code and be directly directed to a specific page in Google AppSheet, Google Drive, or Google Spreadsheet to quickly obtain yarn location information. The study results show that the implementation of QR Codes leading to a reduction in search time until 98,45%. The average of searching time before the implementation is 20 minutes and 27 seconds and reduced become 19 seconds to locate the yarn position.
