Abstract

The digital era of the 21st century has introduced transformative changes across various fields, including education. The deployment of digital resources and online services devices has facilitated learning that is more flexible, interactive, and accessible. However, effectively integrating technology into education demands a comprehensive understanding, particularly from educators. This study examines the Problems and Prospects associated with adopting technology in education, with a focus on the Indonesian context. Teachers in the digital age face substantial demands to innovate, develop digital skills, and align teaching methods with the needs of Generation Z, who have grown up surrounded by technology. Teachers who are professional, adaptable, and technologically skilled play a crucial role in driving educational innovation, improving teaching quality, and preparing students to meet the expectations the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This research aims to investigate the potential of technology to enhance educational access, develop innovative teaching approaches, and promote the success of technology-driven learning in Indonesia. The results are expected to offer strategic insights for building an efficient education system tailored to the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran audiovisual menyimak teks negosiasi melalui aplikasi Filmora untuk siswa kelas X MA Sriwijaya. Rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa dalam keterampilan menyimak, khususnya pada materi teks negosiasi merupakan latar belakang pada penelitian ini. Penelitian Ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan Model yaitu ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MA Sriwijaya Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Adapun Teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, wawancara, angket validasi dari ahli (bahasa, media, materi), serta tes pretest dan postest. Data dianalisis melalui Kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk menilai kelayakan serta efektivitas media. Hasil validasi menunjukkan media dari ahli bidang materi 93%, ahli bidang media 96%, dan ahli bidang bahasa 94%. Uji coba perorangan memperoleh hasil 97,5%, uji coba untuk kelompok kecil memperoleh hasil 97,85%, dan 93,25% untuk uji coba lapangan. Hasil nilai pretest 59,9 dan 94 dari Postest. Ada kenaikan antara pretest dan postest. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran audiovisual menyimak teks negosiasi berbasis aplikasi Filmora sangat layak dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran siswa.
