Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has harmed the sustainability of economic activities in Indonesia. Central Bangka Regency, the Covid-19 pandemic, has also harmed business actors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the mapping of the creative economy sub-sector in Central Bangka Regency and its survival during the Covid-19 pandemic.  This study uses a mixed-method analysis approach. Quantitatively, this analysis uses linear regression analysis to identify the influence of government policies on the survival of creative economy businesses during the pandemic. Qualitative analysis is carried out by identifying data on the distribution of the creative economy that still persists during the pandemic and the factors that influence it both internally and externally using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results of the analysis obtained are the weighted IFE value of 2.350 and the weighted EFE value of 2.756 which can be plotted in the Internal-External matrix. This shows that the creative economy business in Central Bangka Regency is currently in a period of growth because it previously experienced a reduction in production and distribution during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Meanwhile, based on the results of the QSPM analysis, the main strategy that must be carried out during this pandemic is to strengthen promotions using the digital marketing concept. Meanwhile, based on the results of linear regression analysis, it was found that there was a positive relationship between the survival of the creative economy business during the pandemic and the creative economy management program in the Central Bangka Regency.

Abstract

The presence of the Public Service Mall (MPP) in Kendal Regency was developed as an effort to encourage licensing services and increase investment as an effort to realize special economic zone development policies such as strengthening the MSME sector, tourism investment and strengthening investment in the Kendal Industrial Estate. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the development of the Public Service Mall (MPP) on the strengthening of special economic zones in the industrial and service sectors in Kendal Regency. The research method used in this study is the mix method, which quantitatively uses linear regression analysis to determine the effect of the Public Service Mall (MPP) on strengthening the development of special economic zones in Kendal Regency, qualitative analysis is carried out to determine the role of MPP in improving public services. The results of this study indicate that the Public Service Mall (MPP) has a significant effect on strengthening the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Kendal Regency. These results are in line with the qualitative analysis of the role of the Public Service Mall (MPP) on public services in Kendal Regency which plays a good role.

Abstract

Desa Kurau termasuk dalam wilayah Bangka Tengah, Kecamatan Koba, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah, dengan memiliki berbagai potensi wisata dan potensi alam seperti wisata mangrove, wisata pantai, dan pengelolaan potensi perikanan. Namun saat ini kondisi usaha pariwisata dan UMKM di Desa Kurau mengalami kendala terutamanya minimnya kunjungan wisatawan.  Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah minimnya kegiatan promosi wisata yang dilakukan. Lemahnya kemampuan membuat konten video promosi wisata dan potensi lokal menyebabkan belum optimalnya kegiatan promosi yang dilakukan. Melalui pelatihan pembuatan konten video promosi wisata ini dapat mengajak kelompok sadar wisata dan pelaku UMKM Desa Kurau Barat untuk mempromosikan destinasi wisata sehingga menarik minat wisatawan berkunjung ke Desa Kurau Barat. Melalui upaya pelatihan yang telah dilakukan saat ini diperoleh kemampuan memilih tema konten telah cukup baik yaitu dengan skor 78, namun kemampuan untuk mengembangkan kreavitas pembuatan konten cukup rendah dengan skor 44.

Abstract

Many efforts and strategies have been carried out in maintaining the sustainability of the existence of the economy in Kendal Regency. The main realization is encouraging the development of smart cities as an effort to answer the various problems that are being faced by the Kendal Regency government. For three years, the smart economy dimension has become the focus in realizing Kendal Regency is pro to investment with a percentage reaching 76.25 percent compared to other dimensions. The smart eeconomy criteria applied in Kendal Regency shows that the indicator of innovative spirit is very strong, reaching a score of 94 (11.28%). This innovative spirit emphasizes the innovation spirit of the Kendal Regency government to find newer approaches to economic activities. productivity indicator obtained a score of 76 (9, 12%). The productivity indicator explains the increasing number of people who get jobs accompanied by an increase in income. This condition has been supported by micro and medium enterprises that have been connected to digital platforms, an increase of 12.8% or around 1501 during the Covid-19 pandemic. This condition requires that a product must display characteristics that encourage increased city branding, therefore business actors must be able to partner with various stakeholders to display creative digital content during this.

Abstract

Sektor UMKM berperan sangat penting di era globalisasi untuk mendukung kebangkitan perekonomian Indonesia khususnya setelah bangkit dari masa pandemi Covid-19.Kondisi tersebut, sebelumnya telah menyebabkan perlambatan roda ekonomi, penurunan pasar, penurunan omset, dan produktivitas yang menurun. Strategi yang harus ditempuh adalah menciptakan inovasi produk berdasarkan kebutuhan untuk menjaga keberlangsungan di masa pandemi, Desa Belo Laut, di Kabupaten Bangka Barat merupakan salah satu wilayah yang memiliki potensi besar sektor UMKM, khususnya olahan hasil laut. Banyak UMKM yang sebelumnya sudah terkena dampak akibat pandemi, namun secara potensi masih bisa dioptimalkan kembali. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini pendekatan partisipatif yang berupaya untuk melibatkan masyarakat khususnya pelaku UMKM di Desa Belo Laut untuk melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait dengan pemahaman strategi branding produk UMKM. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 50 responden sebagai pelaku UMKM di Desa Belo Laut. Pemahaman terkait strategi branding dilakukan dengan cara memahami tentang nama brand,logo, tagline, kualitas produk, target pasar sampai strategi marketing. Pelaksanaan pelatihan strategi branding tersebut memberikan manfaat dengan bertambahnya pengetahuan dan pengalaman masyarakat dalam mendesain brand mereka menuju lebih baik dan modern. Disisi lain perubahan konsep dalam pengelolaan brand yang telah dilakukan memdorong konsumen lebih tertarik untuk membeli produk mereka. Jangkauan distribusi produk atau pemasaran juga lebih luas karena sebagian besar pelaku UMKM telah memahami tentang marketing digital dan berjualan melalui media marketplace online. Supaya keberlanjutan usahanya tetap konsisten setiap pelaku UMKM harus memahami perkembangan dan persaingan pasar melalui ide-ide kreatif untuk menciptakan nilai produk baru dan berkualitas sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar.

Abstract

The characteristics of Pangkalpinang City as an archipelagic area have undergone a spatial transformation. Historically, the Pangkalpinang City area has been a mining area since 1973, and is currently developing into the capital city of Bangka Belitung province. developed into the service sector, industry, and trade. This study aims to analyze the spatial transformation of Pangkalpinang City due to urban sprawl and the pattern of changes that occur. The methodology used in this study is a mix method consisting of several methods such as the city's economic development sector using Dynamic Location Queationt, socio-spatial analysis, and leapfrog analysis. This study found that several sub-districts in the Pangkalpinang City area experienced a leapfrog type of spatial development, which was characterized by the orientation of the development of residential and industrial areas. The land in Pangkalpinang City is not productive agricultural land, but dry land plantation areas, so that the development of urban physical expansion does not eliminate the essential benefits of agricultural land for food productivity. Meanwhile, under the ex-mines, currently it has been used for the development of the fishery sector and the use of renewable energy development. Another finding is that the limited space of Pangkalpinang City to support the growing development will result in the orientation of land use towards the surrounding suburbs

Abstract

The 2024 Modern Cooperative Assistance program at Koperasi Konsumen Usaha Mandiri was implemented over a four-month period with a focus on enhancing business management. The primary objective of this program was to guide cooperative administrators and members in optimizing internal resources and capabilities while enhancing the effective utilization of natural resources. This assistance program not only provided technical expertise but also fostered an ecosystem conducive to both institutional and individual growth within the cooperative. A quantitative approach was employed to assess the program’s effectiveness through survey questionnaires administered to cooperatives that received assistance. This assessment aimed to identify changes in governance, capital access, digital technology adoption, and business innovation. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods to examine trends and patterns observed before and after the implementation of the assistance program. The assessment results indicated a substantial improvement in modern cooperative performance, as reflected in the increase of evaluation scores from 24.53 to 70.08. These findings suggest that the assistance program played a crucial role in transforming cooperatives into more competitive and innovation-driven entities. Therefore, this data-driven assistance strategy can serve as a foundation for future policy development aimed at enhancing cooperatives' adaptability to the evolving dynamics of the digital economy in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The city government of Pangkalpinang faces various urban challenges such as disparities in public services, inflationary pressures, and low competitiveness in strategic sectors. To address these issues, the city has implemented inter-regional and cross-sectoral cooperation aimed at strengthening development governance. This study seeks to analyze the forms of regional cooperation in the economic sector and their contribution to sustainable development. A mixed-methods approach was employed, focusing on eight Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The findings reveal that the cooperation encompasses infrastructure development, economic and tourism promotion, metrological services, distribution of staple goods, waste-to-energy management, and fishery quality assurance. The partner satisfaction indicator recorded the highest performance score of 99.82%, indicating an effective partnership relationship. However, other indicators such as active agreements, inter-regional innovation, integrated planning, and MSME development scored below 50%, reflecting persistent challenges in coordination and institutional capacity. This suggests that although regional cooperation has had a positive impact on service efficiency and the local economy, substantial challenges remain. Future efforts should focus on strengthening joint planning, fostering innovation, enhancing collaboration, and empowering the microeconomic sector to ensure that regional cooperation becomes more inclusive and sustainable, positioning Pangkalpinang as a regional growth center in the Bangka Belitung Islands.

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu bisnis sangat dipengaruhi oleh metode dan strategi promosi yang diterapkan oleh penjual, khususnya dalam hal periklanan yang efektif untuk menarik perhatian konsumen agar membaca dan melakukan pembelian. Banyaknya tawaran produk di pasar menuntut pelaku usaha untuk menyusun strategi promosi yang menarik, persuasif, dan informatif. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh 30 pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kecamatan Pangkalan Baru adalah terbatasnya pengetahuan dalam menerapkan teknik copywriting, yaitu seni menulis konten promosi secara persuasif. Meskipun telah memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi, konten yang disajikan belum optimal dari segi judul, isi, ajakan membeli, maupun tampilan visual produk. Minimnya pemahaman terhadap teknik copywriting mendorong tim pengabdian untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan iklan berbasis copywriting, serta perbaikan visual produk melalui penggunaan studio foto mini box. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik periklanan yang tepat dapat meningkatkan daya tarik promosi, memperluas jangkauan produk, serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan pelaku UMKM.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred for the past two years has in fact harmed the sustainability of economic activities, especially for the MSME sector in Indonesia. This impact is also felt by MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City who experience various very complex problems. This research was conducted as an effort to analyze the various problems that occurred as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic in the MSME sector and possible recovery strategies. The research method used in this study is the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) method. This QSPM is an in-depth analysis of the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrices. Based on the analysis of the two methods, it is obtained that the weighted IFE value is 2.350 and the weighted EFE value is 2.756. This shows that, the impact caused by the Pandemic on the MSME sector with several business recovery policies in the MSME sector in Pangkalpinang City, has had a pretty good effect because during the pandemic there was a decrease in production and distribution during the Covid-19 Pandemic, then these conditions gradually improved with alternative programs. Meanwhile, the results of the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) study show that the main strategy that must be developed more intensively by the Pangkalpinang City government is to encourage promotions using digital marketing concepts such as building market place platforms, strengthening branding and increasing access to capital for MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City.
