Abstract

Value of the firm illustrates how well or not management manages its wealth. The firm's high value can increase prosperity for shareholders, so it can influence investor perception of the company. Every company is required to be able to process the important functions that exist in the company effectively and efficiently so that the company can be superior. Value of the firm can be influenced by macro-economic conditions in a country and micro-economics in industrial sectors. This study aims to test macro-economic factors, namely, the influence of interest rates, exchange rates, economic growth and micro-economics, namely financial performance, funding decisions and investment decisions on the value of the firm. The population of this research is 100 companies at Kompas 100 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 – 2019. Samples of this study as many as 51 companies were selected based on purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there is a negative and insignificant influence of interest rates, economic growth on the value of the firm. Exchange rates and investment decisions have a positive and insignificant effect on the value of the firm. Financial performance has a positive and significant effect on the value of the firm. Financial decisions have a negative and significant effect on the value of the company.

Abstract

This research investigates the moderating effect of celebrity CEOs on the relationship between corporate sustainability and firm value. A quantitative approach was utilized, analyzing data from 51 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2021 using regression analysis. While prior studies have explored the individual effects of either celebrity CEOs or corporate sustainability on firm value, this study addresses a gap by examining the interaction between these factors and its impact on firm value. The results reveal that although both the presence of a celebrity CEO and the implementation of corporate sustainability initiatives can enhance firm value, they do not necessarily create a beneficial synergy. In fact, the presence of a celebrity CEO may diminish the positive effects of corporate sustainability on firm value. These findings provide empirical evidence suggesting that companies should carefully assess the alignment between a CEO’s characteristics and the firm’s sustainability strategies to optimize value creation. The study underscores the importance of selecting a CEO whose attributes align with the company’s long-term sustainability objectives. These insights have practical implications for corporate management in making strategic decisions regarding CEO appointments and the execution of sustainability initiatives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Digital Literacy Competence (X1), Learning Agility (X2), dan Social Capital (X3) terhadap Early Career Readiness (Y), dengan menguji peran mediasi dari Personal Brand Strength (Z). Kesiapan karier di era digital menuntut lebih dari sekadar keterampilan teknis, melainkan kemampuan adaptif dan identitas profesional yang kuat. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis jalur (path analysis) melalui JAMOVI, penelitian ini melibatkan 137 mahasiswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Model struktural menunjukkan kesesuaian sempurna (perfect fit), menjelaskan 40.4% varians Z dan 58.2% varians Y. Hasil utama menemukan bahwa Learning Agility (β= 0.4369, p < 0.001) adalah prediktor paling kuat dan signifikan terhadap Personal Brand Strength (Z), diikuti oleh Social Capital (β = 0.1718, p = 0.047). Digital Literacy Competence (X1) tidak signifikan, karena dianggap telah menjadi hygiene factor yang merata di kalangan digital native. Pada jalur menuju Early Career Readiness (Y), Personal Brand Strength (Z) merupakan prediktor paling dominan (β = 0.3881, p < 0.001), bersama dengan Social Capital (β = 0.3159, p < 0.001). Personal Brand Strength terbukti memediasi secara penuh pengaruh X2 dan secara parsial pengaruh X3 terhadap Y. Kesimpulan menegaskan bahwa Early Career Readiness lebih ditentukan oleh kemampuan adaptif, jejaring sosial, dan kekuatan identitas profesional. Institusi pendidikan perlu mereorientasi program pengembangan karier untuk memperkuat Z, X2, dan pembangunan jejaring X3.

Abstract

Keadilan organisasi merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam membentuk sikap, persepsi, dan perilaku kerja sumber daya manusia, khususnya pada lembaga pendidikan berbasis pesantren yang memiliki karakteristik nilai, budaya, dan sistem pengelolaan yang khas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keadilan organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada Pesantren Mambaul Ma’arif Denanyar Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang aktif di lingkungan pesantren. Penentuan jumlah sampel dilakukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan sebesar 5%. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner tertutup yang disusun menggunakan skala Likert lima poin. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) untuk menguji hubungan langsung maupun tidak langsung antarvariabel penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa keadilan organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja serta motivasi kerja. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Pengujian efek mediasi menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang signifikan dalam hubungan antara keadilan organisasi dan motivasi kerja. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan prinsip keadilan organisasi yang konsisten dan transparan mampu meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada meningkatnya motivasi kerja sumber daya manusia di lingkungan pesantren. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pengelola pesantren dalam merumuskan kebijakan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang lebih adil dan berkelanjutan.
