Abstract

The Dukuh traditional village community is a strong community with the principle of holding ancestral traditions based on Islamic values. The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences, understandings, and meanings of the da'is in Dukuh village and to describe the effectiveness of his da'wah communication. The research method used is the phenomenology method with Harold Lasswell's communication theory which assumes 5 elements of communication. The results of this study indicate that da'i cannot impose heavy material because the majority of the livelihoods of the residents are farmers; each da'i understands that preaching must be carried out by everyone in the village of Hamlet with their respective abilities; the meaning of da'wah according to the preachers in the village of Hamlet is 5T, namely the purpose of inhaling (khaufullāh and rahmatullāh), the task of inhaling (worship), the procedure of hrup (by being obedient to Allāh, apostles and government), inhaled challenges (must be strong against trials) , and Tuntung breathes (always expresses himself to face death by worship). Da'wah in the Dukuh Customary village environment has run quite effectively because the community generally adheres to the 5T principle which has been maintained for generations. AbstrakMasyarakat kampung adat Dukuh merupakan masyarakat yang teguh berprinsip memegang tradisi leluhur berasas nilai-nilai Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman,  pemahaman, dan pemaknaan para da’i yang ada di kampung Dukuh serta menggambarkan keefektifan komunikasi dakwahnya. Metode penelitian yang diguanakn adalah metode fenomenologi dengan teori komunikasi Harold Lasswell yang mengasumsikan 5 unsur komunikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa da’i tidak bisa memaksakan materi yang berat karena mayoritas mata pencaharian penduduknya adalah petani; setiap da’i memahami bahwa dakwah wajib dilakukan setiap orang di kampung Dukuh dengan kemampuannya masing-masing; makna dakwah menurut para da’i di kampung Dukuh adalah 5T, yaitu Tujuan hirup(khaufullāh dan rahmatullāh), Tugas hirup (ibadah), Tata cara hrup (dengan taat kepada Allāh, rasul dan pemerintah), Tantangan hirup (harus kuat menghadapi cobaan), dan Tuntung hirup (selalu memperispkan diri untuk menghadapi kematian dengan ibadah). Dakwah di lingkungan kampung Adat Dukuh telah berjalan cukup efektif karena masyarakatnya secara umum memegang teguh prinsip 5T yang telah dijaga secara turun-temurun.

Abstract

In the current digital era, Islamic da'wah is facing massive transformation due to the penetration of information technology. This transformation introduced a new method of spreading Islamic teachings, which not only increased the speed and reach of da'wah, but also involved more interactive and creative interactions. However, this change also raises new challenges such as information accuracy and the spread of hoaxes. This research aims to examine the transformation of da'wah in the digital era, understand its influence on traditional da'wah methods, and identify effective strategies in overcoming emerging challenges. The methodology used is qualitative analysis of literature and case studies of digital da'wah practices. The research results show that digital da'wah expands reach and increases congregational engagement through various content formats such as videos, podcasts and mobile applications. However, challenges related to information accuracy and the spread of hoaxes require effective mitigation strategies, including increasing digital literacy and content validation. Da'wah in the digital era requires adapting strategies that not only utilize technology to expand reach, but also ensure the integrity and accuracy of information. This strategy must involve collaboration between da'i, educational institutions, and technology institutions to develop da'wah practices that are innovative and responsive to the dynamics of the times.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social media management strategy of the Instagram account @Sobat Islami in producing Islamic content, with a focus on the effectiveness of delivering religious messages in the digital era. Social media, especially platforms such as Instagram, has become a potential tool in disseminating Islamic values ??to a wider audience. This study explores various aspects of management, including content planning, scheduling, managing interactions with followers, and utilizing creative features such as videos and images. The results show that an effective social media management strategy plays an important role in increasing the appeal and spread of Islamic content. With a structured approach, social media accounts are able to convey messages that are relevant, inspiring, and in accordance with Islamic values, while strengthening relationships with digital communities. This study contributes to the understanding of the use of social media as an innovative modern means of da'wah.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the transformation of da'wah communication that occurs in the digital era, with a focus on analyzing strategies and challenges in spreading Islamic messages. The development of information and communication technology has driven a paradigm shift in the method of delivering da'wah. Digital media such as social media, blogs, and video platforms are now the main means used by da'i to reach a wider audience, especially the younger generation who are very familiar with the digital world. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach and content analysis, and is complemented by in-depth interviews with da'wah practitioners and analysis of relevant literature. The results of the study show that transformation through digital media opens up significant opportunities to increase the reach and interactivity of da'wah message delivery. However, there are also a number of challenges, including difficulties in maintaining message authenticity, content verification, and data security and privacy issues. In addition, competition with a flood of information from various digital sources also forces da'wah practitioners to develop innovative and adaptive communication strategies so that Islamic messages continue to be conveyed effectively and on target. The findings of this study are expected to provide strategic recommendations for religious institutions in optimizing the use of digital technology for the dissemination of da'wah messages, as well as offering solutions to the challenges that arise. This research also contributes to the development of modern da'wah methodology that is relevant to the dynamics of the digital era, so that it is expected to be able to maintain the sustainability and attractiveness of Islamic values ??in a global context.
