Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) karakteristik apa saja yang dimiliki oleh anak tunagrahita di SLB-C Negeri Singaraja, (2) proses pengajaran mewarnai di SLB-C Negeri Singaraja dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis Interaktif menurut Miles and Huberman. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, teknik pendokumentasian, dan teknik studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Karakteristik anak tunagrahita berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan orang tua dan guru terdiri dari lima belas ciri-ciri pokok: (a) keterbatasan intelegensi, (b) keterbatasan sosial, (c) perkembangan fisik, (d) perkembangan motorik, (e) rendahnya tingkat kemandirian, (f) berpikir dengan tempo lamban, (g) pergaulan anak, (h) anak sulit mengerti percakapan, (i) anak sulit melakukan banyak hal, (j) anak sulit mengungkapkan sesuatu, (k) anak sulit mengingat sesuatu, (l) anak impulsif, (m) anak mudah terpengaruh, (n) anak kurang inisiatif, dan (o) anak belajar melalui contoh. (2) proses pengajaran mewarnai ditinjau dari observasi di lapangan terdiri dari tiga tahapan mengajar: (a) pemilihan strategi dalam mengajar, (b) penerapan metode pengajaran, dan (c) pemilihan teknik membimbing anak tunagrahita. Kata Kunci : karakteristik, mewarnai, tunagrahita This study aimed to describe (1) the characteristics of retarded children at SLB-C Negeri Singaraja, (2) the teaching process of coloring in SLB-C Negeri Singaraja analyzed through the Interactive theory of Miles and Huberman. The type of research is qualitative descriptive study. Techniques used in collecting data are observation, interview, documentation, and case study. The results showed that (1) Characteristics of retarded children in terms of interviews of parents and teachers consisted of fifteen fundamental characteristics: (a) Lack of Intelligence, (b) Lack of Social, (c) Physical Development, (d) Development of Motor , (e) low Level of Independence, (f) Slow Thinking, (g) children association, (h) Children’s Difficulties of Understanding Conversations, (i) Children’s Difficulties of Doing Many Things, (j) Children’s difficulties of Revealing Something, (k) Children’s Difficulties of Remembering Something, (l) Impulsive children, (m) Easily Affected Children, (n) Children’s Less initiative, and (o) Children Learn Through Example. (2) The teaching process in coloring in terms of field observations consisted of three stages: (a) Strategies in Teaching, (b) Methods of Teaching, and (c) Mechanical Guiding of retarded Children.keyword : characteristics, coloring, retarded

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang: (1) Bagaimanakah riwayat berkesenian I Nyoman Sukanta?. (2) Bagaimanakah sumber ide ukiran telur karya I Nyoman Sukanta?. (3) Bagaimanakah proses perwujudan ide ukiran telur karya I Nyoman Sukanta?. Subyek penelitian ini adalah I Nyoman Sukanta dengan objek kerajinan ukir telur. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik (1) observasi, (2) purposive sampling, (3) wawancara, (4) cross check (5) kepustakaan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis domain dan taksonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) riwayat berkesenian I Nyoman Sukanta dimulai dari sejak SMP karena sering melihat ayahnya mengukir telur. Dari sana dia belajar secara diam-diam dari melihat keahlian sang Ayah. Hingga saat ini Nyoman Sukanta masih terus berkarya, karena baginya meneruskan apa yang ditinggalkan sang ayah merupakan kewajibannya sebagai generasi penerus. (2) sumber inspirasi I Nyoman Sukanta dalam berkarya berasal dari permintaan konsumen yang memesan. Karya ukiran telur yang telah dibuat oleh Nyoman Sukanta pada umumnya banyak mengadopsi penggalan-penggalan cerita Ramayana dan Mahabharata. Namun ada juga beberapa konsumen yang memesan cerita-cerita diluar itu. (3) Perwujudan karya I Nyoman Sukanta yang termasuk ke dalam jenis karya relief dua dimensi banyak memvisualisasikan objek dari isi penggalan cerita Ramayana dan Mahabharata. Kata Kunci : proses kreatif, ukir telur. The goals of this research are to get some information. Abaout; (1) How about historical art of I Nyoman Sukanta? (2) What is the source of the idea of carving the eggs by I Nyoman Sukanta?. (3) How is the process of embodiment carving the eggs of I Nyoman Sukanta ?. This subject of this research is I Nyoman Sukanta with egg carving craft as the objects. Collecting data or information was done by (1) observation, (2) purposive sampling, (3) interviews, (4) cross-check (5) Bibliography . Data were analyzed by using domain analysis techniques and taxonomy. The results showed that: (1) history of art I Nyoman Sukanta begin from junior high school because he often saw his parent carve eggs. From that experience, he studied secretly from seing expertise his father. Until now Nyoman Sukanta still continue to work, because he think that continue what his father done is one of his obligation as the next generation. (2) a source of inspiration of I Nyoman Sukanta comes from consumer demand book. Egg carving works that have been created by Nyoman Sukanta generally adopted from fragments of Ramayana and Mahabharata. But there are also some consumer who order the stories beyond. (3) The realization of works by I Nyoman Sukanta belonging to the type of two-dimensional relief work a lot visualize objects from the contecs of a fragment of the Ramayana and Mahabharata. keyword : creative process, carved eggs.
