Abstract

Students' success in learning can be seen from the achievement of student competencies. This means that several factors affect student learning outcomes, such as learning materials or e-module. E-module is a module packaged in electronic or digital form that contains a variety of interactive media. The situation found in the field is that the teaching materials used are still in printed form or textbooks and student learning outcomes are still in the low category of students. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using STEM integrated e-module on static fluid materials. This research was quasi-experimental research with a single factor independent groups design. The research method used was the development method with the Hannafin and Peck instructional development model focused on product-oriented learning design. The instruments used in the study were final tests, observations, and worksheets. The data analysis techniques used in this research were descriptive statistical analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, t-test for two unrelated samples. Data analysis showed differences in learning outcomes in the experiment group compared to the control group. This indicates the influence of the STEM-integrated static fluid E-Module on student learning outcomes. Therefore, the STEM-integrated static fluid material electronic module design can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Sustainable development is very important for the progress of the country. Teachers have a role in educating the younger generation to master 21st-century skills. 21st century skills are one of the keys to realizing the 17 SDGs for Indonesia's progress. This research aims to determine the implementation of ESD (Education for Sustainable Development)-based learning after COVID-19 in Indonesia. This research uses a literature review approach with descriptive analysis techniques. The articles were collected from 10 articles published between 2021 and 2023. The keyword used to collect articles is ESD. The SLR research steps consist of three stages, namely planning, implementation, and reporting. The research results show that ESD is applied to lower, upper secondary, and vocational school students and teachers. In addition, ESD is researched using mixed methods: qualitative, quantitative, quasi-experimental, and R&D. ESD learning is able to improve students' 21st century skills, knowledge, and environmental awareness. Future research needs to examine the implementation of ESD at the tertiary level and teachers' readiness to teach science-based ESD.

Abstract

University students can have low academic flow when using a Learning Management System (LMS). Three variables are predicted to correlate with the academic flow (FA) of students who use LMS: academic self-efficacy (ASE), academic resilience (AR), and LMS use intensity (LMSI). This study looks at the link between academic self-efficacy, academic resilience, LMS use intensity, and academic flow among university students who use LMS. This study employs a quantitative approach, using correlational approaches and path analysis. Furthermore, 740 Indonesian university students who used LMS participated in this study. This study used the partial least squares-structural equation model (PLS-SEM) to analyze data. This study found that academic resilience and LMS use intensity are both positively and significantly associated with academic flow in university students who use LMS. Furthermore, the current research results show that academic self-efficacy is not directly related to academic flow among university students. Aside from that, the study's findings imply that LMS usage intensity is a deciding variable for academic flow among university students who use LMS and that it can control the link between academic self-efficacy, academic resilience, and academic flow. Academic resilience and LMS use intensity must be considered when improving university students' academic flow using LMS.

Abstract

The Indonesian economy is largely derived from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The MSME sector has a strategic role in the Indonesian economy because it is significant in contributing to the formation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) tend to not keep up with the development of digital technology, mainly due to a lack of knowledge about digital marketing. Therefore, the Postgraduate Muslim Student Association (HIMMPAS) of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia conducted training through social entrepreneurship activity in Bojongpicung Village and Jati Village, Cianjur Regency, West Java. This training aimed to provide insight to MSME practitioners by optimizing the potential of MSMEs through digital marketing to improve the economy of the local community in Bojongpicung Village and Jati Village, Bojongpicung District, Cianjur Regency, West Java. The MSME participants involved in this training totaled 11 people from various industries. This program applied direct training and mentoring methods. The discussion in this article aimed to identify constraints or problems experienced by the MSMEs and evaluate the participants' level of satisfaction with the implementation of the training activities. The results showed that MSME participants have constraints in product marketing, funding, and traditional production equipment. After being trained, MSME participants found several relevant solutions for the development of their MSME businesses through digital marketing. In addition, the material provided was in accordance with the needs of MSME participants. MSME participants also realized that they still need more similar training in the future.

Abstract

Assessment in the form of an instrument is very important to test for validity and reliability so that it can measure student learning outcomes. We implemented a measurement instrument designed to assess students' understanding of elasticity. The measurement instrument consisted of 15 items. The instrument was administered to students who were taking physics subjects in senior high school in their second year. In total, 74 students were taken from two classes in Padang, Indonesia. In this study, the students' performance was collected as quantitative data and evaluated using the Rasch model. The results showed that the data matched the Rasch model measurements. Moreover, female students answered 53 percent of the questions better than male students. Furthermore, the DIF plot shows that S8 is the most difficult problem, while S14 is the easiest. There are two gender bias questions, namely S12 and S14. Both questions were easily solved by female students. However, all questions can be used to measure students' abilities in elasticity and Hooke's law. This study seeks to make a contribution to the literature on EMCI evaluations by offering a case study for academics and researchers to use in assessing students' elasticity skills
