Abstract

This research discusses public perceptions regarding the extension of the village head’s term of office by 9 years in the Rambutan Subdistrict of Banyuasin Regency. In light of demonstrations by village heads demanding an extension of their terms, the researcher aims to understand how the community perceives this extension. The study aims to analyze public perceptions of extending the village head’s term from 6 to 9 years in the Rambutan Subdistrict of Banyuasin Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques involve interviews with village heads, community leaders, and residents. However, it’s important to note that while the majority of the community agrees with extending the village head’s term to nine years, this consensus doesn’t always imply positive impacts. Further analysis reveals that the agreement is primarily influenced by feudal societal norms, a lack of understanding about democracy, and limited political education.

Abstract

This study discusses women's representation in the regional leadership council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle for South Sumatra Province, which will focus on women's management in the regional leadership council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle for South Sumatra Province. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the role and process in women's representation in the management of the regional leadership council of the Indonesian democratic party of struggle for South Sumatra province. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, data collection techniques are carried out by interview and documentation methods. The primary data sources are six cadres of South Sumatra DPD PDIP . Secondary data sources are books, journals and related documents. In analyzing this research using the theory of the function of political parties. The results of this study show that the role of women administrators in South Sumatra DPD PDIP is carried out well and has the support of South Sumatra DPD PDIP and in the process of recruitment of administrators carried out with the stages of filling out the form, submitting the vision and mission, selection, determining women administrators, ratifying party management. The 30% female representation in the South Sumatra PDIP DPD has fulfilled the 30% requirement in not only the legislature but also in the management of women and female cadres of the South Sumatra PDIP DPD.

Abstract

This Research on Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto's gemoy political image ahead of the 2024 presidential election was motivated by the phenomenon of Prabowo's joget gemoy and the massive amount of gemoy comments on every post related to Prabowo on social media, especially TikTok. Therefore, this research aims to find out how the gemoy image of Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto emerged and its use in campaign activities. Researchers will dissect the problem using the political image theory proposed by Dan Nimmo. The data in this research is in the form of photos and videos as well as comments from netizens on social media and online news portals. Data was collected using data collection techniques from new media via the internet (Analyzing Virtual Data) by Winfriend Marotzki, Jens Holze and Dan Schnettler applying downloading and taking screenshots. Then it is analyzed using analytical techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions by Miles and Hubberman. The results show that the gemoy image comes from the byname from netizens which was then strengthened by Prabowo using the political imaging strategy proposed by Nimmo theory, that is Pure publicity, Free-ride publicity, Tie-in publicity, and Paid publicity. Furthermore, the gemoy image continues to be used in the campaign attributes of Prabowo and the Advanced Indonesia Coalition legislative candidates.

Abstract

Boarding adalah proses pelayanan penumpang dari ruang tunggu sampai dengan naik pesawat udara. Pengaturan batas waktu penutupan naik pesawat udara (boarding) yang berbeda antara Permenhub Standar Pelayanan Penumpang Kelas Ekonomi Angkutan Niaga Berjadwal Dalam Negeri dengan syarat dan ketentuan Air Asia menimbulkan suatu masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah syarat dan ketentuan Air Asia tentang batas waktu penutupan naik pesawat udara (boarding) dapat dibenarkan oleh peraturan perundang-undangan, serta untuk menganalisis apakah perlindungan hukum yang dapat diberikan kepada penumpang yang mengalami keterlambatan karena melewati batas waktu penutupan naik pesawat udara (boarding) agar mendapatkan kompensasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan konsep. Bahan hukum yang digunakan yaitu bahan hukum primer terdiri atas peraturan perundang-undangan, kemudian bahan hukum sekunder terdiri atas tulisan dari hasil penelitian, buku-buku, jurnal hukum yang berkaitan dengan hukum pengangkutan terkait batas waktu penutupan naik pesawat udara (boarding). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa syarat dan ketentuan Air Asia tentang batas waktu penutupan naik pesawat udara (boarding) tidak dapat dibenarkan oleh peraturan perundang-undangan karena bertentangan dengan syarah sah perjanjian pada poin yang keempat dan berakibat batal demi hukum. Perlindungan konsumen yang diberikan kepada penumpang berupa penanganan keluhan penumpang oleh badan usaha angkutan udara sebagaimana Pasal 58 Permenhub Standar Pelayanan Penumpang Kelas Ekonomi Angkutan Niaga Berjadwal Dalam Negeri.

Abstract

The General Election Commission is one of the election organizing institutions. The problem with this research is the low level of participation of disabled voters in the 2019 elections. Therefore, this research aims to find out what strategies are being implemented by the West Tulang Bawang KPU in increasing the participation of disabled voters in the 2024 elections. The method used is a qualitative approach with the type field research. Meanwhile, data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. In analyzing research using strategy theory according to Schendel and Charles Hofer (1985). The results of this research show that in increasing the participation of voters with disabilities in the 2024 elections, the West Tulang Bawang KPU implemented a strategy with four levels or stages, namely: First, Enterprise Strategy related to the role of the KPU as an organization that has relationships with the community. Second, the Corporate Strategy of the West Tulang Bawang KPU carries out strategies related to its vision and mission and function as an election organizing institution. Third, Business Strategy as a strategy at the KPU level as an election organizing institution to attract participation from voters with disabilities in the community with demand and support. Fourth, the Functional Strategy of the West Tulang Bawang KPU by conducting elections door to door or visiting the residences of people with disabilities who cannot attend the polling location due to accessibility problems.
