Abstract

Absrtak UPT SMK Negeri 6 Bulukumba memiliki potensi besar dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang siap kerja berkat program-program keahlian yang ditawarkan. Program blended learning berbasis digital telah diimplementasikan sebagai bagian dari upaya pemerintah dalam mengembangkan pendidikan vokasi berkualitas, namun perlu lebih ditingkatkan. Berdasarkan hal ini maka tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM yaitu melakukan implementasi blended learning memanfaatkan platform dan aplikasi digital dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Adapun metode yang diterapkan yaitu metode ceramah dan pemberian materi, diskusi dan partisipatif, praktik, serta pendampingan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah keseluruhan pelaksanaan kegiatan berlangsung cukup baik dan sesuai dengan target waktu yang ditetapkan. Efektivitas implementasi blended learning terhadap siswa sebelum dan sesudah implementasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan yang membawa dampak positif dalam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Respons siswa dan guru dalam hal tingkat kepuasan cukup baik. Rata-rata persentase peningkatan hasil belajar siswa mencapai angka sekitar 25.33%, yang mencerminkan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi blended learning berbasis digital memberikan dampak yang lebih kuat dan sangat positif. Kata Kunci: blended learning, digital, berpikir kritis, hasil belajar

Abstract

UPT SMK Negeri 6 Bulukumba has great potential in producing graduates who are ready to work thanks to the expertise programs offered. The digital-based blended learning program has been implemented as part of the government's efforts to develop quality vocational education, but it needs to be further improved. Based on this, the purpose of implementing PKM activities is to implement blended learning using digital platforms and applications in the implementation of learning. The methods applied are lecture and material delivery methods, discussion and participation, practice, and mentoring. The results obtained from this PKM activity are that the overall implementation of the activity went quite well and in accordance with the set time target. The effectiveness of the implementation of blended learning for students before and after implementation shows a significant increase that has a positive impact on improving students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. The response of students and teachers in terms of satisfaction level is quite good. The average percentage of improvement in student learning outcomes reached around 25.33%, which reflects a significant increase in student learning outcomes. This shows that the implementation of digital-based blended learning has a stronger and very positive impact.

Abstract

Limited telecommunication network services, even for 2G technology, in some regions due to living in small islands, range of hills and blank spot areas are experienced in Indonesian Republic. One of solutions is proposed by using 11-element Yagi-Uda antenna operated in GSM band of frequencies. Mmanagal software is run to simulate this proposed model in order to analyze antenna performance parameters namely field pattern, F/B ratio, gain antenna, input impedance and SWR. First of all, the antenna performance, operated at frequency of 925 MHz, is the best because of the ideal SWR. Furthermore, the performance parameters of the antenna at GSM’s uplink frequency, 902.5 MHz, are good because the SWR value is less than 2 dB. However, drawback of the antenna performance is occurred in which the model antenna is operated at central frequency of GSM downlink, 947.5 MHz. It is stated that radiated pattern, back lobe is more dominant than main lobe, is vice versa with two other operated frequencies. Moreover, the value of SWR, slightly above 4.6 dB, is more than 2 dB.

Abstract

Increasing population and consumption patterns affect the volume, type, and characteristics of waste which vary and increase periodically. This increment must be accompanied by the management of waste transportation so that the accumulation of waste can be prevented. Therefore, it is necessary to design a prototype of a smart dustbin condition monitoring tool that is capable of providing full information and notifying the collector in the form of the location of the IoT-based dustbin. The research method is a prototyping type to obtain a smart dustbin prototype and produces IoT-based smart dustbin hardware and software. Ultrasonic sensors are used to detect objects and measure the height of waste, loadcell sensor measure the weight of waste, and GPS is used to obtain the location of dustbin. NodeMCU ESP8266 processes sensor data and sends it to the user. The results showed that testing of the object detection hardware was able to open and close the dustbin automatically when there was an object at a distance of ≤50 cm. Detectors of height and weight of waste can measure the height and weight of waste with an error of 0.4% and 0.15% respectively. The results of software testing show that the tool succeeds in sending WhatsApp notification data when the waste height reaches 3 cm from the sensor or 4000-gram waste weight, with a Throughput measurement of 327.95 kbps, and takes 2.61 seconds to send a notification message of 69 bytes.

Abstract

The PLN officer in charge of recording kWh meters is sometimes unable to photograph them because men discovered that the houses were unoccupied and their fences were locked. Due to these circumstances, the calculation of the current month’s electricity consumption is equated with the previous month, and customers can be harmed. The purpose of this research is to take a physical photo of the kWh meter showing the electrical power consumption and send it to WhatsApp. Firstly, it needs to set the timer on the DS3231, which determines the date for activating the esp32-cam to take kWh meter pictures and upload them to the server. Next, esp8255 downloads those photos from the server. Finally, esp8255 sends them to the WhatsApp application. In this study, the results were obtained in the form of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart home device system. The WhatsApp application is a notification media, taking pictures of analog kWh meters in 3–5 seconds with throughput, reliability, and availability values of 189 bps, 96%, and 95.97%, respectively.
