Acid base is one of chemical topic that explain about concrete concepts, non concreteconcepts and concepts which involve symbolic representation. Complexity of acid base concept can create student misconceptions trend. DSLM can be an alternative of learnings’ model that can decrase misconceptions, so that identification of acid base misconceptions with learning become important to do. The research design is qualitative descriptive design. The research instrument is two-tier diagnostic test with reliability 0,869. There are seven misconceptions found in this research.

Research on the Effectiveness of Concept Change Oriented Learning with Dual Situated Learning Model (DSLM) Assisted by Multi Representations (MRs) to Improve Acid-Base Concept Understanding of High School Students is a quantitative study which employs a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design pretest-posttest. The research subjects were 70 students of class XI pattern 5 SMAN 4 Malang for the academic year 2020/2021 which comprised two classes taken by cluster random sampling, one class as the control class (34 students) and one class (36 students) as the experimental class. The research data was collected using the acid-base concept understanding test instrument (TPKAB) which comprised 25 items (17 items for two-tier questions and 8 items for multiple choice). The research hypothesis was examined through the ANCOVA test assisted by the SPSS 21.0 for windows program with a significance level of = 0.05. The results demonstrated the increase in the average value of the experimental class was higher than the increase in the average score of the control class after learning acid-base material. Meanwhile, the results of the delay-test demonstrated the PK-DSLM-MRs were effective in maintaining the retention of students' conceptual understanding on acid-base material. PK-DSLM-MRs gave the strongest influence on the group concept of acid-base strength. The number of misconceptions and students who experience misconceptions in the control class is more than the number of misconceptions and students who experience misconceptions in the experimental class.

As a newly established campus, Sunan Doe Institute possesses a lot of lackings; one of them is that there is no laboratory available for the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Tadris up until now. The unavailability of this laboratory has a lot of influence on the practicum skills and experience of science students, especially the students of Chemistry department and science department. Chemistry is a branch of science that studies concepts at the macroscopic, submicroscopic and symbolic levels. This characteristic reinforces that chemistry learning requires supporting facilities in the form of a laboratory. One of the materials that involves the comprehension of macroscopic, microscopic and symbolic material is the concept of acid-base titration. The unavailability of laboratories at Sunan Doe Institute requires lecturers to provide alternative learning media that can provide practicum experience in the laboratory. One of the media that can provide practicum experience and can give students active participation in its usage is interactive multimedia. This research used the 4D research and development model developed by Thiagarajan. As a newly established institution, the Sunan Doe Institute still faces various limitations, one of which is the laboratory of the Tarbiyah and Tadris Faculty. The absence of this laboratory has a significant impact on the skills and experience of the practicum of science students, especially in the chemical and science study programs. Chemistry is a branch of science that studies concepts at the macroscopic, submicroscopic, and symbolic levels, so that chemistry learning really requires supporting facilities in the form of laboratories. One material that demands understanding at the three levels is the concept of acid-base titration. With the unavailability of laboratories within the Sunan Doe Institute, lecturers are required to provide alternative learning media that are able to provide virtual practicum experience. One solution that can be used is interactive multimedia, which is able to simulate practicum activities and encourage active student participation. This study uses a 4D development model developed by Thiagarajan. The results of product validation by material experts show a percentage of feasibility of 90.80% with valid categories without revision. Assessment by media experts obtained a value of 96.19% with the valid category and did not require revision. Small group trials produce a score of 90.78%, also in the valid category and do not need to revise. Based on these results, the interactive multimedia of the acid-base titration developed is declared valid and suitable for use in learning activities.

Facts in the field showed that students encountered misconception towards several basic concepts of acid-base. The misconception occurred is resistant and hard to be changed. To change the misconception occurred, the students must experience cognitive conflict that may lead them to do concept changing. Concept-change oriented learning is effective in preventing students from misconception. By the use of worksheet that oriented to concept-change will help reducing misconception encountered by the students. The aim of this study is to determine the process of developing acid-base worksheet which oriented to concept-change, to know the feasibility of the developed worksheet and to determine the effectiveness of the developed worksheet in reducing misconception that students face. The study used Borg and Gall theory. The result of the study showed that the developed worksheet is feasible to be used with validation value of 90,11%, and the developed worksheet is also effective in eliminating misconception encountered by the students, with pre-test value of 67.6% and post-test value of 2%.
