Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan metode 5S, mengetahui peningkatan efisiensi waktu produksi serta mengetahui adanya perbedaan nyata secara statistik antara waktu produksi sebelum dan setelah penerapan metode 5S pada bagian produksi ViaVia Bakery. Kondisi bagian produksi yang belum tertata baik dan belum terorganisir memerlukan metode yang tepat untuk mengatur bagian produksi secara optimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode 5S. Dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner metode 5S, analisa SWOT, pengukuran waktu dan uji paired sample t test. Melalui penyebaran kuesioner metode 5S kepada 12 responden karyawan ViaVia Bakery diperoleh data yang digunakan untuk mendukung analisa SWOT, guna mengetahui strategi perbaikan yang tepat pada penerapan metode 5S di bagian produksi. Pengukuran waktu dilakukan untuk mengukur waktu baku produksi sehingga dapat diketahui nilai efisiensi waktu produksi dan adanya perbedaan nyata waktu produksi dengan menggunakan uji paired sample t test. Penerapan metode 5S pada bagian produksi agar tercipta lingkungan kerja yang bersih, rapi dan nyaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian setelah penerapan metode 5S diperoleh efisiensi waktu produksi roti brown bread sebesar 9,68%, roti bagel sebesar 9,23%, roti small baguette sebesar 8,08% dan roti focaccia sebesar 6,14%. Selain itu, hasil uji paired sample t test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara waktu produksi sebelum dan setelah penerapan metode 5S yang berarti penerapan metode 5S pada bagian produksi di ViaVia Bakery berpengaruh pada peningkatan efisiensi waktu produksi.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan artificial intelegence (AI) dalam dunia pendidikan semakin berkembang pesat, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran artificial intelegence (AI) dalam mendukung kreativitas siswa-siswi di SMK Negeri 2 Tanjung Balai, khususnya pada jurusan Audio Video. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan artificial intelegence (AI) dalam pembelajaran, seperti pembuatan lirik lagu, instrumen musik dan pengeditan video berbasis AI, mampu meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam menghasilkan karya audiovisual yang inovatif. Selain itu, artificial intelegence (AI) juga membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep teknis dengan lebih interaktif dan efisien. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan artificial intelegence (AI) di lingkungan pendidikan vokasi dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan daya saing lulusan di industri kreatif.

Abstract

This research investigates the organizational communication strategies implemented in Karang Taruna RW 005 Babakan, Sukarame Village, Pacet District, Bandung Regency, West Java. Communication is not merely the transmission of information but a fundamental mechanism in shaping organizational culture, maintaining member engagement, and ensuring program sustainability. Youth organizations in rural contexts often struggle with message clarity, hierarchical distortion, limited digital literacy, and inconsistent information management. Adopting a qualitative single-case study, this research combines in-depth interviews with youth leaders and members, focus group discussions, participatory observation during meetings and events, and document analysis (minutes, proposals, financial reports, and social media content). The findings reveal that communication practices in Karang Taruna RW 005 are multi-layered: interpersonal (face-to-face mentoring, leader–member dialogue), group (meetings, deliberations, consensus-building), and digital communication (WhatsApp groups, social media outreach). Applying Lasswell’s communication model and Shannon–Weaver’s linear model, the study identifies how communication effectiveness depends on message clarity, channel selection, and feedback responsiveness. Communication barriers include overlapping information channels, limited documentation habits, and uneven participation across gender and age. Enablers consist of strong community trust, cultural norms of gotong royong, and the emerging digital competence among youth. This paper proposes a five-pillar communication strategy—clarity, inclusivity, transparency, technology adoption, and continuous evaluation—that enhances organizational resilience. The study contributes to organizational communication literature by contextualizing global theories within rural Indonesian youth organizations and offers a replicable roadmap for community-based organizations across similar settings.

Abstract

This study comprehensively analyzes strategies for empowering youth through organizational training, using a case study of Karang Taruna in Sukarame Village, Pacet District, Bandung Regency, West Java. Youth empowerment is a critical lever for sustainable community development; however, rural youth often face constraints in managerial capability, leadership experience, and program execution. The research adopts a qualitative single-case design combining in-depth interviews (youth leaders, members, village officials), focus group discussions, participant observation during training sessions, and document analysis (training modules, minutes, budgets, program reports). Findings show that a training design grounded in participatory learning, mentoring, and project-based application—supported by digital tools—improves leadership, public speaking, teamwork, basic project management, and civic engagement. Using a logic-model lens (input–process–output–outcome–impact) and Kirkpatrick’s evaluation framework, the study evidences gains in attendance, skill demonstration, program execution rates, and stakeholder collaboration. Enablers include strong social capital, village government support, and peer mentors; barriers include funding limitations, scheduling conflicts with school/work, facilitator turnover, and uneven digital access. The paper proposes a six-pillar strategy (participation, mentoring, collaboration, micro-grants, digitization, M&E) and a scalable implementation roadmap for rural youth organizations.

Abstract

The development of the beauty and self-care industry in Indonesia is accelerating, driving the need to digitize business processes to improve competitiveness. Cahaya Store, a beauty product store in Palembang, faces challenges such as the threat of new entrants, manual sales recording, and lack of digital platforms for online purchases. This research aims to design a mobile-based information system strategy using the Ward and Peppard method. The research stages involved internal and external environment analysis, SWOT, McFarlan Strategic Grid, value chain, and Porter's Five Forces. The results showed that the development of mobile e-commerce applications can provide online shopping accessibility, business process automation, and improved customer experience. The information system strategy includes the integration of inventory and sales management systems to improve operational efficiency and strengthen digital marketing. With the Ward and Peppard approach, Cahaya Store can formulate data-driven strategic steps to optimize information technology to support business growth and competitiveness. Research recommendations include the implementation of mobile applications with personalization features, customer relationship management, and continuous evaluation to maintain relevance to market dynamics.
