Abstract

Salah satu metode eksplorasi geofisika yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan bijih mangan adalah metode geolistrik. Metode geolistrik resistivity dan chargeability IP merupakan metode aktif yang menginjeksikan arus ke bawah permukaan untuk mengetahui model litologi bawah permukaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan nilai resistivity dan chargeability IP metode geolistrik hasil simulasi dan untuk pemilihan konfigurasi elektroda yang akurat dari 3 (tiga) konfigurasi elektroda geolistrik simulasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode geolistrik resistivity dan chargeability IP, konfigurasi elektroda yang digunaka konfigurasi Wenner Alpha, Dipole – Dipole dan konfigurasi elektroda Wenner - Sclumberger. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rentang nilai resistivity dan chargeability bijih mangan hasil simulasi dari tiga konfigurasi elektroda yaitu 6.22 – 32.10 Ohm.m dan 3.52 – 36.93 msec, dikategorikan sebagai resistivity rendah dan chargeability rendah. Dari tiga konfigurasi elektroda yang digunakan pada hasil simulasi, konfigurasi elektroda Dipole – Dipole yang mendekati hasil model simulasi bijih mangan dan konfigurasi tersebut lebih akurat dibandingkan konfigurasi elektoda yang lain.

Abstract

Groundwater is water stored in layers of soil or rocks below the surface of the ground. Groundwater has an important role as a source of water for human life, especially for household needs. This community service activity aims to provide information to the community regarding the availability of groundwater potential zones and provide recommendations for the depth of groundwater drilling. The background to this activity was because there were people in Latellang Village, Patimpeng District, Kab. Bone still relies on shallow groundwater (dug wells) to meet its clean water needs. The method used is the geoelectric method where data is collected directly in the field, from the measurement data then analysis is carried out to determine the presence of groundwater potential zones in Latellang Village, Patimpeng District, Bone Regency. The results of the geoelectric measurements carried out obtained a resistivity value of 80.8 ohm.m as a layer that has the potential to be an aquifer layer with a breccia lithology type, where the porosity is high so it is good as a reservoir rock. The thickness of this layer reaches 92.7 meters starting from a depth of 5.38 to 97.7 meters.

Abstract

Resource estimation plays a significant role in determining the quantity and quality of a deposit. In nickel laterite mining, estimation is needed to be able to calculate resources before the mining process takes place. This research was conducted to determine the nickel laterite resources at PT Genba Multi Mineral. In this research, the determination of nickel laterite resource estimation using the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method. Based on the estimation of nickel laterite resources using the IDW method. The estimation of nickel laterite resources was carried out in the saprolite zone with the Cut of Grade (COG) used, namely Ni content ≥ 1.6% with a density of 1.5 tons/m3 obtained a resource tonnage of 233,738 tons with an average Ni content of 1.81%.
