Abstract

Program pemberdayaan perempuan merupakan hal terpenting yang mesti dilakukan dalam pembangunan bangsa. Kiprah perempuan dalam perekonomian keluarga dan nasional menjadi salah satu bagian penting dalam pembangunan secara  keseluruhan. Perempuan di era modern ini haruslah memiliki keahlian yang komprehensif, upaya yang harus dilakukan dalam meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka yakni memberikan pelatihan life skill menjahit secara berkesinambungan, sehingga mereka mampu bangkit dari segi ekonomi melalui berwirausaha. Mitra binaan kegiatan PKM ini adalah Usaha Menjahit Al-Fatih. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan yakni; memberikan pelatihan keterampilan menjahit, pendampingan pengurusan izin usaha, serta sistem pemasaran modern. Dari hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan life skill menjahit pada Usaha Menjahit Al-Fatih dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menjahit bagi pelaku usaha tersebut, mulai dari keterampilan memproduksi jahitan yang lebih berkualitas, kaya akan kreatifitas model, stok massif, dan sistem pemasaran produk yang lebih modern, efektif dan efisien, serta adanya legalitas hukum dengan adanya izin usaha dari pemerintah setempat. Sehingga berdampak pada meningkatnya hasil produksi dan hasil penjualan yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi pelaku usaha tersebut.

Abstract

Berpikir matematis dapat dipandang sebagai suatu cara memahami masalah matematika dengan menyusun berbagai sumber kajian terhadap objek-objek matematika. Untuk mendukung kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa, maka salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan worksheet. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa dengan menggunakan Jurnal Tugas Matematika Siswa (student worksheet). Student worksheet disusun secara terpadu sesuai materi pelajaran matematika yang dipelajari siswa di sekolah, disertai tugas-tugas matematika/masalah/soal yang menuntun siswa untuk berpikir matematis. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di kota Parepare. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada siswa SMA dengan memberikan worksheet untuk digunakan siswa menyelesaikan tugas-tugas matematika. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara eksploratif. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan maka disimpulkan bahwa lembar worksheet digunakan sebagai media untuk mengungkap ide/gagasan pengetahuan siswa terhadap masalah matematika, sehingga dapat menggambarkan proses berpikir siswa. Untuk itu, kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa yang dideskripsikan sebagai berikut: (1) tahap identifikasi masalah, dilakukan dengan mengungkap unsur-unsur yang diketahui, unsur yang ditanyakan, memberikan istilah dan menggunakan simbol matematika, serta merancang penyelesaian, (2) tahap pengelompokkan masalah, dilakukan dengan menempatkan istilah/simbol yang telah diidentifikasi dan menyelesaikan masalah sesuai perencanaan, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan, dilakukan dengan mengaitkan masalah matematika dikehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Literacy is an important aspect in basic education because it determines learning success at the next level. Literacy is not only limited to reading and writing, but also the ability to understand, process and utilize information. However, low motivation, limitations in utilizing reading materials and supporting learning environments are still obstacles. This service program is an effort to strengthen literacy skills among students at SD Negeri 15 Parepare which is carried out from August to December. This activity aims to strengthen students' literacy skills by creating learning media and mentoring. The media created are literacy trees, reading corners, and library improvements with the program name "Pintu Ilmu". This activity is complemented by mentoring students and optimizing the library through the "Jelajah Pustaka" and "Literacy Development" programs. Evaluation was carried out using pretest and posttest to measure the average increase in students' literacy skills from 51.84 to 68.95. These results prove that the media-based and mentoring literacy strengthening program is effective in improving the literacy skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Community Service Activities were carried out at UPTD SD Negeri 1 Parepare involving 20 class III students and class teachers as assistants. This program aims to improve students' numeracy skills through the use of educational game media specifically designed to support understanding of basic mathematical concepts. The implementation method is divided into three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. In the preparation stage, observations of needs and design of numeration snake and ladder media were carried out. The implementation phase focuses on using game media as a learning tool through playing activities while answering numeracy questions. Next, the evaluation stage is carried out through observation, interviews and assessment of student learning outcomes. The results of the activity show that the snakes and ladders numeracy media has a positive impact on students' motivation, participation and understanding. As many as 90% of students were actively involved, indicating increased interest and enthusiasm for numeracy material. Learning becomes more interactive, fun, and can reduce students' boredom towards mathematics. In addition, teachers gained increased skills in using innovative learning media and expressed readiness to apply them in regular learning. Overall, the numeracy snakes and ladders media has been proven to be a simple and effective learning alternative for improving elementary school students' numeracy literacy and the quality of mathematics learning in schools.

Abstract

The study evaluates whether and to what extent the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) intervention improves students’ learning in mathematics across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. This study employed a pre-experimental one-group pre-test/post-test design, in which a single cohort of 35 Grade XI students at Senior High School I, Takalar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, was assessed before and after the implementation of the TaRL approach. Data were gathered using pre- and post-tests to measure cognitive improvement. The cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains were assessed with structured observation sheets using a five-point Likert scale, which were then transformed to a 0-100 scale for clarity of interpretation. The result showed a significant increase in students’ cognitive achievement, with the pre-test and post-test means of 83.42 and 93.22, respectively. Although the initial score was relatively high due to students’ prior exposure to similar mathematical content, the statistical results confirmed a meaningful improvement beyond the baseline understanding. Observations of the affective domain revealed notable positive shifts; students demonstrated higher motivation, increased confidence in problem-solving, and more active participation during class activities, as reflected in an average converted score of 95.31. In the psychomotor domain, the mean score of 93.21 demonstrated students’ enhanced ability to apply mathematical concepts in practical contexts through active engagement. These findings suggest that the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach effectively enhances students’ learning outcomes within the studied context by promoting active, differentiated, and student-centered learning experiences. Since the study was conducted at a single institution with a small sample, additional research with larger populations and diverse educational contexts is necessary to substantiate and generalize these findings.    Keywords: affective, cognitive, mathematics, psychomotor, teaching at the right level (TaRL).
