Abstract

Learning media is now very developed where everyone can learn anywhere by using a smartphone to get the material or learning they want to know. Everyone needs learning usually starting from the basic learning taught since childhood. Where basic learning starts from the introduction and writing of letters and numbers. It is necessary to know how to write letters and numbers so that the writing can be done more effectively. A child who is just learning to write is likely to have difficulty in recognizing letters and numbers. So that the author provides solutions, among others, by building a web-based bilingual letters and numbers learning media application to overcome these problems. This application is built with the waterfall method and uses PHP and MySQL programming languages. This web-based application bilingual learning media of writing letters and numbers can help parents in teaching their children in terms of how to write letters and numbers that are good, correct, easy and fun. This application has interactive videos so that it is more interesting and educative. In addition, this application uses two languages, Indonesian and English. Where when the numbers and letters are clicked, the sound will be heard in Indonesian and English. The data that has been successfully collected is in the form of letters and numbers taken from books, journals, articles, websites.

Abstract

In 2023, Tanah Laut State Polytechnic (Politala) will be 14 years old since its founding. Various prestigious achievements have been achieved, including the most recent in 2021, where Politala received the best SAKIP award among all Polytechnics in Indonesia. This achievement cannot be separated from the good management of higher education by the leaders. Facing the challenges of rapidly developing digitalization, Politala continues to strive to adapt to the needs to support its vision, namely "Becoming a leading & nationally competitive Polytechnic". Politala has implemented digitalization in various aspects, one of which is in learning. They use Wikisource as an archive for storing teaching materials and practical guidelines, which are accessed by lecturers and students. However, Wikisource has limitations in managing archives, because only one admin is responsible for all existing archives. Lecturers and students can only download teaching materials and practical guidelines without adequate user access control. The implementation of Bookstack as a replacement for Wikisource in Politala is focused on increasing accessibility and user involvement with their respective roles in managing information resources. This study aims to develop Bookstack to improve the accessibility of teaching materials and practical guidelines, ease of use, and encourage active user involvement in contributing and managing content. This implementation is also expected to strengthen collaboration between users in the development and updating of teaching materials and practical guidelines. Thus, the implementation of Bookstack will increase the effectiveness and efficiency in providing teaching materials and practical guidelines in Politala, making it easier for lecturers to upload documents, and students to access them.

Abstract

The development of digital technology today has transformed the way its users carry out activities, making the involvement of Information Technology highly essential in supporting daily life. Currently, the use of Information Technology has become commonplace and highly beneficial in various fields of human life. Unfortunately, many school students today only use electronic devices for entertainment, without utilizing them for learning and enhancing their knowledge. MTsN 4 Tanah Laut, as one of the educational institutions under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, has faced significant changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Although the pandemic has now ended, knowledge and skills in using Information Technology remain important, especially with the adoption of computers or laptops in the school learning process. Therefore, Information Technology introduction training is crucial for MTsN 4 Tanah Laut students to improve their understanding and skills in utilizing Information Technology. The purpose of this community service is to help students develop technological skills, enhance students’ understanding of digital literacy, improve learning efficiency, encourage creativity and innovation, prepare students for the workforce, promote positive use of technology, and foster research and innovation in the field of education. This community service is conducted through lectures and discussions on the introduction of information technology. The results of the research show an increase in participants' understanding of information technology.

Abstract

Polusi udara di Indonesia merupakan ancaman serius bagi kesehatan manusia, dengan dampaknya yang meliputi penyakit pernapasan, jantung, dan kematian dini. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh berbagai polutan udara yang berbahaya, termasuk debu diameter, sulfur dioksida, karbon monoksida, nitrogen dioksida, dan lainnya. Musim kemarau yang panjang sering kali memicu kebakaran hutan di berbagai daerah, termasuk Desa Bati-bati di Kalimantan Selatan. Kebakaran hutan menghasilkan asap yang menyebabkan polusi udara berbahaya bagi kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan sekitarnya mencapai angka sekitar 160 tergolong tidak sehat.  Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti telah mengembangkan sistem pemantauan kualitas udara berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) di beberapa titik rawan kebakaran hutan dan lahan. Sistem ini mendeteksi kadar polusi karbon monoksida (CO) dan metana di udara dan memberikan peringatan dini kepada pengguna melalui telegram jika kadar polusi melebihi atau mendekati batas yang ditetapkan. Dengan demikian, sistem ini membantu pengguna untuk mengambil tindakan pencegahan yang diperlukan untuk melindungi kesehatan dari dampak polusi udara.

Abstract

The nutritional health of children is a crucial matter to consider, given its significant impact on physical and cognitive development. Therefore, early nutritional detection in infants and toddlers is highly necessary to identify whether the obtained nutrition is sufficient. This is done to prevent children from experiencing stunting conditions, which can affect educational quality, morbidity, and productivity in adulthood. In addressing these issues and challenges related to limited health resources and manual data recording systems, the development of the SIHARAPAN application (Information System to Prevent Low Intake of Food and Nutrition in Children) becomes a highly important solution. This application aims to facilitate the management of infant and toddler nutritional health data in integrated health posts (posyandu), as well as a tool to identify symptoms of stunting in children. The application is designed to streamline administration and management of nutritional status data in children through a technological approach. This research applies a waterfall approach in development, starting from system requirements analysis, system design, coding using the CodeIgniter 4 framework based on the PHP programming language, and implementing z-score formulas to determine nutritional status in children, as well as testing using black box testing. The test results indicate that the SIHARAPAN application runs 100% successfully according to its functions, improving information accessibility for posyandu cadres and related parties to prevent stunting and facilitate coordination in child health care.

Abstract

Sistem yang berjalan saat ini proses audit AMI Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut (Politala) dilakukan dengan mengisi borang dengan Microsoft Office Word lalu dicetak untuk diserahkan kepada tim Auditor. Borang tersebut harus dilengkapi dengan dokumen-dokumen secara fisik yang akan diperiksa oleh Auditor. Saat proses audit selesai maka wajib auditor menulis Berita Acara Audit untuk ditanda tangani bersama. Namun berita acara ini ditulis dengan Microsoft Office Word lalu dicetak. Hal ini tentu berisiko dalam hal penyimpanan data dan efektifitas hingga efisiensi dalam tata kelola administrasi P4MP (Pengembangan Pembelajaran dan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan). Hal tersebut yang menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini yakni mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Audit Mutu Internal (SI AMI). Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Prototype dan pengujian menggunakan Blackbox Testing. Sistem yang dibangun dirancang dengan Flowchart, ERD dan DFD serta dibangun dengan Framework Codeigniter serta SQL Server sebagai basis datanya. SI AMI berhasil dibangun dan dilakukan pengujian menunjukkan hasil setiap fungsinya berjalan dengan baik (berhasil). Dari hasil uji validitas pada calon pengguna, jumlah respon tertinggi terdapat pada opsi Setuju untuk pernyataan bahwa SI AMI mempermudah pengarsipan, sehingga pencarian untuk keperluan akreditasi dan keperluan lainnya menjadi lebih sederhana dan mudah. Dengan sistem yang dibangun (SI AMI) dapat disimpulkan proses audit menjadi efektif dan efisien sebab data diambil secara otomatis dan terintegrasi dengan antar pengguna sehingga menjadikan data sinkron dari pengisian borang sampai berita acara AMI
