Abstract

Platform Pembelajaran Elektronik Berbasis Web (Studi Kasus: Batuah Teknologi Semesta) merupakan solusi inovatif yang dirancang untuk membantu siswa atau mahasiswa yang belum berpengalaman dalam pemrograman agar dapat mempelajari keterampilan tersebut secara mandiri. Di era digital yang terus berkembang, kebutuhan akan keterampilan pemrograman semakin tinggi, namun tidak semua individu memiliki akses atau kesempatan untuk belajar secara formal. Platform ini didesain dengan tujuan menyediakan modul pembelajaran dalam bentuk video yang efektif dan mudah dipahami, dengan fokus pada konsep dasar, pengenalan bahasa pemrograman JavaScript, dan pembuatan aplikasi sederhana menggunakan PHP. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian prototype dalam pengembangannya, dengan penerapan Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) dan Unified Modeling Language (UML) dalam perancangan platform. Selain itu, platform ini juga telah diuji melalui pengujian blackbox oleh pihak Batuah Teknologi Semesta untuk memastikan fitur dan kinerja sistem berjalan dengan baik. Diharapkan dengan adanya Platform Pembelajaran Elektronik Berbasis Web ini, siswa atau mahasiswa yang awam dalam pemrograman dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dan mendapatkan akses yang lebih luas terhadap pembelajaran pemrograman, mengurangi kesenjangan akses, dan memberikan peluang pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif bagi individu dengan keterbatasan akses terhadap pendidikan formal

Abstract

The development of digital technology today has transformed the way its users carry out activities, making the involvement of Information Technology highly essential in supporting daily life. Currently, the use of Information Technology has become commonplace and highly beneficial in various fields of human life. Unfortunately, many school students today only use electronic devices for entertainment, without utilizing them for learning and enhancing their knowledge. MTsN 4 Tanah Laut, as one of the educational institutions under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, has faced significant changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Although the pandemic has now ended, knowledge and skills in using Information Technology remain important, especially with the adoption of computers or laptops in the school learning process. Therefore, Information Technology introduction training is crucial for MTsN 4 Tanah Laut students to improve their understanding and skills in utilizing Information Technology. The purpose of this community service is to help students develop technological skills, enhance students’ understanding of digital literacy, improve learning efficiency, encourage creativity and innovation, prepare students for the workforce, promote positive use of technology, and foster research and innovation in the field of education. This community service is conducted through lectures and discussions on the introduction of information technology. The results of the research show an increase in participants' understanding of information technology.

Abstract

Bridgestone Kalimantan Plantation, a rubber plantation company, currently manages employee payroll semi-manually using a Delphi-based desktop application and Microsoft Excel. This approach encounters several challenges, such as limited accessibility, data integrity issues, and time-consuming processes. To address these problems, this study aims to develop a web-based payroll information system. The primary objective of this research is to improve accessibility, streamline payroll management processes, and enhance data accuracy and security. The system is designed using the Laravel framework, chosen for its ease of use and security in implementing authentication and authorization, as well as its future integration capabilities. The results of the study indicate that the developed system functions as needed, providing a more efficient platform, reducing errors, and improving the user experience for employees involved in the payroll process. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance the overall operational efficiency of PT. Bridgestone Kalimantan Plantation.

Abstract

This research aims to create a spare part detection and counting system to assist employees in calculating stock quantities. The system utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision with the YOLOv8 algorithm. The research was conducted at PT Rezki Batulicin Transport Site Sebamban, a company specializing in land transportation services, particularly for coal mining products. The company is located in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan. The spare part detection and counting system has been successfully implemented. Evaluation results show an F1-score reaching a maximum value of approximately 0.86 at a confidence threshold of around 0.385. Precision values remained above 0.8 for most of the confidence range, while maximum recall reached 0.95.

Abstract

Pemrograman adalah kemampuan yang semakin krusial di zaman digital, tetapi banyak mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan dalam grasping konsep dasar pemrograman, terutama dalam bahasa Python. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tantangan yang dialami mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep dasar pemrograman Python serta mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen yang berkontribusi terhadap tantangan tersebut. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan kombinasi, yang meliputi survei kuantitatif dengan 200 partisipan dan wawancara kualitatif dengan 20 mahasiswa. Temuan riset mengindikasikan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan besar dalam bidang logika pemrograman, sintaksis, dan struktur data, yang dipengaruhi oleh pendekatan pengajaran yang bersifat teoritis dan minimnya pengalaman praktis. Dampak dari hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan pendekatan pengajaran yang lebih interaktif dan aplikatif, serta peningkatan dukungan akademis untuk membantu mahasiswa mengatasi tantangan dalam belajar pemrograman

Abstract

The relocation of the capital city of the Republic of Indonesia from Jakarta to the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) is a critical topic for the public, as it is designated as a strategic national project. However, the lack of public participation may generate community concerns regarding its potential impact. This research involved extracting public opinion from YouTube comments to identify the community’s desires, thereby providing policymakers with valuable information. Clustering the comments using the K-Means method successfully extracted public opinions from 27,063 comment data points. Among the key findings, a significant public concern is the potential for the construction project to be abandoned or stalled (“mangkrak”). Additionally, while the clustering results showed good cohesion, the cluster separation indicated a significant overlap in the data. This is further reflected by the average similarity score of 0.4234972.   Keywords – YouTube, Text Clustering, K-Means, Nusantara Capital City (IKN)
