Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 yang saat ini sedang melanda dunia, termasuk Indonesia, megakibatkan dampak yang teramat besar terutama sector ekonomi. Kebijakan Pemerintah untuk menghimbau masyarakat beraktivitas di rumah saja mempengaruhi pola konsumi masyarakat. Sebagai salah satu sector yang terdampak, UMKM harus dapat melihat hal ini sebagai tantangan sekaligus peluang dalam memasarkan produknya. Permasalahan dialami UMKM adalah bagaimana mempertahankan eksistensinya dengan melakukan berbagai upaya, antara lain dengan melakukan berbagai inovasi usaha dan inovasi strategi. Untuk itu dibutuhkan adanya berbagai upaya baik dari pemerintah melalui kementerian-kementerian yang terkait dengan perekonomian maupun perguruan tinggi untuk memberikan edukasi kepada para pelaku UMKM mengenai strategi bisnis yang dapat dilakukan dalam upaya mempertahankan bisnisnya mengingat sektor UMKM memiliki peranan yang sangat penting terhadap perekonomian Indonesia. Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar bagi tim pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat untuk mengadakan seminar dengan judul kegiatan Webinar “Strategi Bisnis UMKM pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19”. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan tentang strategi bisnis bagi para pelaku bisnis khususnya bagi sektor UMKM. sehingga mampu bertahan dan dapat menganalisa kondisi eksternal serta memanfaatkan peluang-peluang yang ada untuk mempertahankan eksistensi bisnisnya. Peserta kegiatan Pengabdian kepada mayarakat ini adalah 117 orang dari total 251 orang yang mendaftar. Peserta terdiri dari 49% dosen, 40% pelaku UMKM dan 11% mahasiswa. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terlaksananya kegiatan PKM dan publikasi ilmiah.

Abstract

The use of novel learning resources in learning is a new innovation in history learning so research was carried out to determine the use of the novel Kapal Terbang Sembilan by M. Yanis as a local history learning resource at SMAS Mujahidin Pontianak. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive form. The data source for this research is Mrs. Annisa Januarsi, S.Pd as a history teacher and student of Class Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques use source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the research show that: 1. There are three stages in planning to use the novel Kapal Terbang Sembilan by M. Yanis as a local history learning resource and has been included in the RPP, namely designing learning objectives, adjusting the material, and adjusting the subject schedule. 2. There are two stages in utilizing the novel Kapal Terbang Sembilan by M. Yanis as a learning resource, including the application stage carried out using the lecture method and evaluation in the form of group assignments. 3. The obstacles faced in using the novel Kapal Terbang Sembilan by M. Yanis as a source for learning local history are that the novel is difficult to find both in print and online and there is limited time for students to read the entire contents of the novel.

Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic, global companies have faced complex challenges that drive a paradigm shift from a financial focus to social and environmental sustainability. ESG scores serve as an important indicator in assessing corporate sustainability. This study provides an important contribution due to the limited number of studies in Indonesia that examine ESG performance rather than merely ESG disclosure, which allows the results to better reflect the quality of sustainability implementation. This research employs a quantitative approach to analyze the effects of CEO education, ownership power, CEO tenure, and the presence of a CSO on ESG performance, with profitability and firm size as control variables. The research data consist of secondary data from companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2023 period, selected using purposive sampling and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 30. The findings show that CEO education and ownership power have no significant effect on ESG performance, while CEO tenure and CSO have a significant effect on ESG performance. Companies that establish a CSO demonstrate a proactive approach to addressing ESG issues. This study evaluates the role of CSO which remains underexplored, suggesting that regulators, particularly the OJK, should encourage public companies to position the CSO as a strategic role in presenting ESG scores as part of transparency and accountability in supporting the SDGs.
