Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to improve learning outcomes of Class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Kupang through the application of differentiated product learning. This approach was chosen because it is centered on the students' needs. In the context of student diversity, this study focuses on adapting learning interests to the characteristics of news writing materials. The news writing element is integrated into Bloom's taxonomy at the C6 (creating) level, allowing students to have the freedom to choose the news product they want to produce according to their individual interests. The classroom action research was conducted in two cycles with the same approach, namely Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT). Although the approach was the same in both cycles, in Cycle I, students were only given the opportunity to write news texts as the product to be produced. In Cycle II, students were given the freedom to choose various forms of news products according to their individual interests. The analysis results show a significant increase in student learning outcomes, with an average score increase from Cycle I (73.42) to Cycle II (90.57), and all students achieved a classical completeness level of 100% in Cycle II. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of professional development to support teachers in effectively applying differentiated product strategies, as well as continuity in improving the quality of sustainable learning in the future. Abstract

The focus of this research is "Increasing learning motivation and collaboration in groups using wordwall media". The aim of this research is to find out and describe how to increase learning motivation and collaboration in groups using wordwall media. This research was carried out in class XI-7 of SMA Negeri 2 Kupang for 3 cycles. In initial observations, researchers used text media in the form of Student Worksheets which were carried out by students with group members of 5-6 people, but during the discussion the students were less active in the group. Based on this problem, researchers applied wordwall media in learning. Wordwall is an interactive learning media that teachers can use. In Cycle 1, researchers used a random wheel wordwall, students were formed into groups with 4 members. Together with their group they will spin the random wheel until the wheel stops and a question will appear which will be answered directly. Then in cycle 2 the wordwall used was to open the box, where students and their groups took the quiz provided with 10 numbers and the results were visible, students had started to be active and had even started to collaborate with each other in determining the correct answer. Then in cycle 3, namely the word wall searching for words, the students were very active and even divided the task to each group member to find the word they were looking for. The use of wordwall media in this learning produces good and satisfying learning results. This can be seen directly as a reflection of the learning experience and can be proven by the presentation results of students who completed the percentage at 75%, and the percentage of students who did not complete it at 25%.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of student activity in learning. This research aims to see whether Wordwall can increase student learning activity. This study was carried out in 3 cycles by increasing various efforts to increase learning activity. The subjects studied were 30 students in class XI-5 at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang. Observations, activity sheets, and documentation are sources of research data. The results show that the eight indicators from cycles 1 to 3 show an increase in students' learning activeness, in cycle one the average number is 14.3 with a percentage of 42 percent, in cycle two the average number is 16.8 with a percentage of 52.5 percent and in cycle 3 the number an average of 18.5 with a percentage of 57.9 percent. Wordwall has proven successful as a medium for increasing student participation, student activity in learning, and their interest in lessons. It also allows you to create a more interactive and engaging learning environment.

Abstract

In class XI8 of SMAN 2 Kupang, students showed low interest in learning Indonesian. The purpose of this study was to make students more interested in learning by using audio visual media. A two-cycle classroom action research (PTK) was used. 30 students of class XI8 were the research subjects. Learning interest questionnaire, learning outcome test, and observation were used to collect data. The results of the study were analyzed descriptively by calculating students' average learning interest and learning outcomes each cycle. The results showed that students' interest in learning increased significantly, from 47.5% in the first cycle to 75% in the second cycle. Students' average learning outcomes also increased, from 55% in the first cycle to 85% in the second cycle. The results suggest that teachers should use audio-visual media when teaching Indonesian to increase student engagement and teaching effectiveness.

Abstract

This research is entitled, “The Inner Conflict of the Main Character of Short Story Narasi Rindu by Tommy Duang and Viral Short Story by Mario D. E. Kali in the Anthology of Peace Messages from Bumi Flobamora”. The focus of this research is how the inner conflict of the main character in the short story Narasi Rindu by Tommy Duang and the main character of the short story Viral by Mario D. E. Kali. The purpose of this study is to describe the inner conflict of the main character in the short story Narasi Rindu by Tommy Duang and the main character in the short story Viral by Mario D. E. Kali by using Sigmund Freud's Psychoanalysis approach Sigmund Freud describes the human mental process called personality which is classified into id, ego, and superego. This research uses data sourced from the short story anthology Messages of Peace from Flobamora Earth, namely data in the form of words, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results and discussion in this study found that the main character of the short story Narasi Rindu by Tommy Duang has six inner conflicts, namely: past trauma, guilt, economic crisis, deep pain and suffering, worry, and indecision. Meanwhile, the main character of the short story Viral by Mario D. E. Kali found six data on inner conflicts, namely: the struggle between acceptance of death and the desire to survive, the struggle between pain and disappointment, deep feelings of guilt, the struggle between hope and resignation, and past trauma. The inner conflicts in both short stories are influenced by Sigmund Freud's personality system, namely id, ego, and superego, which are solely present in the main characters in the short stories. This personality system shows how the main character's inner conflict is managed.

Abstract

This research is entitled “Dalam Pelukan Rahim Tanah by Jemmy Piran”. The purpose of this study is to describe the character of the main character Bango in the novel in the Dalam Pelukan Rahim Tanah By Jemmy Piran. This research was conducted using the psychoanalysis Theory of Sigmund Freud. The theory of Sigmund Freud maps human mental as a personality sistem that is divided inti Id, Ego and Superego. the data in this research are collect ed from the novel Dalam Pelukan Rshim Tanah by Jemmy Piran, in the form of word, phrases, sentences and paragraphs. The method used in this research is Descriptive Qualitativ. The results of data analysis in this study with the collaboration between three personalyti Id, Ego and Superego, that Bango Figures have seven character include, compassionate, kind, patien, angry, rude, vested and anxious. Therefore, it can be concluded that the character of the main character Bango is classified into two basic characters, namely good and bad characters, which are a collaboration between the three personality systems of id, ego, and superego. The good character includes: loving, good, and patient. Meanwhile, the bad character includes: angry, harsh, vengeful, and anxious. Thus, in human personality, there are various characters that make a person's personality different from others. Keywords: Character, Main Character, Novel, Psychoanalysis

Abstract

This thesis is entitled The Image of Women in the Novel Tirai Menurun by Nurhayati Sri Hardini, an Existentialism Feminism Study. The problem discussed in this study is how the image of women played by characters named Kedasih and Sumirat in the novel Tirai Menurun by Nurhayati Sri Hardini is studied from social using the theory of four transcendence according to Beauvoir. This research aims to describe the image of women played by the characters named Kedasih and Sumirat in the novel Tirai Menurun by Nurhayati Sri Hardini which is studied from its social aspects using the theory of four transcendences according to Beauvoir. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. The object of this research is the characters Kedasih and Sumirat in the novel Tirai Menurun by Nurhayati Sri Hardini. The data source in this research is the novel Tirai Menurun by Nurhayati Sri Hardini published by PT Gramedia, Jakarta in 2010. The data collection technique in this research is the library technique, and the analysis technique goes through several stages, namely (a) re-reading the data collected. (b) classifying the image of women in the novel. (c) analyzing the social image of women by using the theory of existentialism feminism which divides the image of women into 4 transcendences. (d) making conclusions. The theory used in this research is existentialist feminism.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk memperoleh gambaran dari struktur legenda Gunung Mutis di Desa Fatumnasi Kecamatan Fatumnasi Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori struktural sastra dan metode yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara karena dilakukan secara langsung untuk menemukan data-data tentang Legenda Gunung Mutis di Desa Fatumnasi, Kecamatan Fatumnasi, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan oleh (Bapak Mateos Anin.) penelitian ini menemukan enam struktur dalam legenda Gunung Mutis yaitu 1 alur campuran. Karena peristiwanya tidak berurutan sehingga kombinasi antara alur maju dan alur mundur. 2 penokohan yaitu Oematan yang artinya mata air, Uiskono yang artinya melewati, Polli yang artinya melempari, luli yang artinya mengambil, Tefa yang artinya bertemu, dan Baj yang artinya membujuk. 3. Latar (a) latar tempat di Desa Fatumnasi kecamatan Fatumnasi Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan. (b) latar waktu pada masa lampau (c) latar suasana bahagia dan sedih. 4. Sudut pandang orang ketiga ( pengamat) 5. Gaya bahasa paradoks 6. Tema sejarah karena mengandung unsur pembagian marga-marga tersebut. Gunung Mutis merupakan tempat yang suci dan juga sangat indah. Dari Gunung terebut tersimpan begitu banyak kekayaan alam yang memberikan sumber kehidupan pada masyarakat Timor, tempat roh leluhur mereka tinggal dan jueka meyakini bahwa di atas Gunung Mutis Tempat Uis Neno.
