Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengalisis keterkaitan konsep simetri yang ada pada pola gerak Tari Merak dengan menerapkan pendekatan etnomatematika yang mengaitkan elemen budaya dan matematika. Tari Merak adalah salah satu tarian klasik dari Jawa Barat yang memperlihatkan keindahan simetri melalui beragam elemen seperti refleksi, rotasi, dan translasi. Contohnya seperti gerakan Gilek, Gileur, dan Tumpang Tali. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif yaitu menggunakan metode etnografi. Metode ini melibatkan kegiatan observasi (pengamatan), wawancara mendalam, penyebaran kuesioner, serta analisis video pertunjukan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep simetri secara alami diterapkan dalam gerakan dan pola lantai Tari Merak, menciptakan harmoni visual yang khas dan indah. Para responden, yang sebagian besar berasal dari komunitas seni tari, melihat bahwa penggabungan matematika ke dalam seni tari sangat menarik untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penemuan ini mendukung pemanfaatan seni budaya sebagai alat pembelajaran matematika yang kontekstual dan relevan sambil turut berperan dalam melestarikan kekayaan budaya lokal

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Wanasigra mayoritas bermata pencaharian sebagai buruh tani. Seiring berjalannya waktu ternyata kebanyakan masyarakat Wanasigra beralih profesi menjadi pembudidaya ikan, ini di dukung dengan potensi kolam yang mencapai 11.000 ha. Pengembangan desa dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Predikat desa perikanan yang diberikan oleh pemerintah kepada Desa Wanasigra merupakan usaha dari masyarakat dalam mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat dalam hal perikanan. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk mengetahui proses pengolahan ikan terhadap pengembangan desa wanasigra dalam menghadapi permasalahan perikanan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui pelatihan dan penerapan teknologi untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan masyarakat peternak Nila untuk mengolah ikan Nila menjadi produk olahan, seperti: dendeng/kere. Melalui pelatihan pengolahan dan pemasaran, kelompok ini mampu menghasilkan berbagai produk olahan ikan nila yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, tetapi juga mendorong diversifikasi produk lokal dan mengangkat potensi desa Wanasigra. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Wanasigra telah berhasil meningkatkan nilai tambah produk perikanan, khususnya ikan nila, melalui pengembangan kelompok Dapur D’Nurma.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of students' mathematics anxiety based on the chosen elective class. The method used in this study is a survey method with data collection techniques involving observation (interviews or questionnaires). Participants were grade XI students of Public Senior High Schools in Tasikmalaya City in the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 10 schools. The sample consisted of two classes from each school, consisting of one class specializing in science and one class specializing in social studies, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a mathematics anxiety questionnaire. Data processing techniques involved descriptive statistical analysis using Ms. Excel Nvivo version 14. The results of the study showed that there were differences in anxiety between students in science and social studies elective classes. The impression from these findings is the need for special interventions in the mathematics learning process in social studies classes to reduce mathematics anxiety.

Abstract

Students with mathematical dysgraphia frequently experience procedural errors in column-based arithmetic due to difficulties in visual–motor integration and spatial organization. These difficulties often result in misaligned digits, incorrect column placement, digit misreading, and improper regrouping, which are commonly categorized as Watson Errors. This study aims to develop Papergraph media as a visual structural learning medium to reduce mathematical errors in students with mathematical dysgraphia. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The media were developed based on a needs analysis focusing on students’ visual–motor characteristics and common procedural error patterns in arithmetic operations. Papergraph was designed as a grid-based medium to support accurate digit placement, place-value alignment, and vertical operational structure. The implementation of the developed media was evaluated using a Single Subject Research (SSR) design with an A–B–A pattern involving a fourth-grade elementary school student identified as having characteristics of mathematical dysgraphia. Data were collected through repeated measurement of arithmetic performance and analysis of Watson-type errors across baseline, intervention, and withdrawal phases.The results showed a significant reduction in mathematical errors during the intervention phase, particularly in digit misreading, column misplacement, incorrect digit combination, and regrouping errors. Performance improvements were maintained during the baseline-2 phase, indicating the internalization of spatial organization strategies facilitated by the Papergraph media. In conclusion, Papergraph demonstrates strong potential as an effective visual–structural learning medium to improve procedural accuracy and reduce Watson Errors in students with mathematical dysgraphia.
