Abstract

The main land coastal development activities (Makassar City and its surroundings) have direct and indirect impacts on the community and the environment, especially fishermen who catch fish on the coral reefs of the Spermonde Islands. These activities include sea sand extraction and beach reclamation for the construction of ports and waterfront cities. The perceived impact consists of positive and negative values. This study aims to analyze the public perception of the damage to coral reefs caused by the impact of coastal development activities in Makassar. This research was conducted from October to November 2021 on Barrang Caddi Island, Badi Island and Bontosua Island, Spermonde Islands. This research is classified as ex post facto with descriptive quantitative survey method. Respondents in this study as many as 200 people who make a living as fishermen. Determination of informants is done by random sampling method. The measurement of the degree of perception is measured by the Likert scale method. The results of the study indicate that the impact of positive values ​​is to provide security from the crime of illegal fishing, and the community gets a side job, namely the activity of rehabilitating coral reefs. The negative value impacts are the disruption of local wisdom, the increase in environmental pollution, the decrease in the number of fish catches, as well as higher fishing operational costs incurred.

Abstract

Pemerintahan Petta To Mabburu Limanna di Kerajaan Agang Nionjo Kabupaten Barru (1597-1603). Skripsi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Universitas Negeri Makassar. Dibimbing oleh Jumadi dan Bustan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, memberikan gambaran mengenai sistem pemerintahan Petta To Mabburu Limanna di Kerajaan Agang Nionjo, hubungan Kerajaan Agang Nionjo dengan Kerajaan Gowa pada masa pemerintahan Petta To Mabburu Limanna, dan perkembangan Kerajaan Agang Nionjo setelah berganti nama menjadi Kerajaan Tanete. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif historis, dengan menggunakan empat tahapan kerja sejarah, yakni heuristik atau pengumpulan data yang diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan, studi kearsipan, wawancara dan observasi. Selanjutnya dilakukan kritik sumber yang bertujuan untuk menentukan atau menilai sumber, kemudian diinterpretasi atau diberikan penafsiran terhadap sumber tersebut, dan yang terakhir historiografi yang merupakan pengungkapan kisah sejarah secara tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Petta To Mabburu Limanna merupakan raja ke VIII di kerajaan Agang Nionjo. Dalam menjalankan sistem pemerintahannya ia dibantu oleh beberapa pejabat-pejabat kerajaan, Ia juga mampu membina dan mempertahankan hubungan baik dengan Kerajaan Gowa. Selama masa pemerintahannya pula menunjukkan kemajuan yang sangat pesat, yaitu kerajaan Agang Nionjo berganti nama menjadi Kerajaan Tanete. Perubahan nama itulah yang kemudian menyebabkan terjadinya pengembangan kerajaan secara administrasi wilayah kerajaan, selain itu datang berbagai bangsa di Tanete, diantaranya Portugis dan Malayu, dia juga yang memerintah di kerajaan Tanete yang mengangkat Palili (kerajaan bawahan) Tanete. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa selama masa pemerintahan Petta To Mabburu Limanna ia mampu menunjukkan kemajuan yang sangat pesat, yaitu kerajaan berganti nama dari Agang Nionjo menjadi Tanete, kemudian datang berbagai bangsa ke Tanete serta raja pertama yang mengangkat Palili (kerajaan bawahan) Tanete.Kata Kunci: Pemerintahan, Petta To Mabburu Limanna, Agang Nionjo AbstractGovernment of Petta To Mabburu Limanna in the Kingdom of Agang Nionjo, Barru Regency (1597-1603). This study aims to provide an overview of the government system of Petta To Mabburu Limanna in the Agang Nionjo Kingdom, the relationship between the Agang Nionjo Kingdom and the Gowa Kingdom during the reign of Petta To Mabburu Limanna, and the development of the Agang Nionjo Kingdom after changing its name to the Tanete Kingdom. This research is historical descriptive, using four stages of historical work, namely heuristics or data collection obtained through library research, archival studies, interviews and observations. Furthermore, source criticism is carried out which aims to determine or assess the source, then interpreted or given an interpretation of the source, and finally historiography which is the disclosure of historical stories in writing. The results showed that Petta To Mabburu Limanna was the VIII king of the Agang Nionjo kingdom. In carrying out his system of government he was assisted by several royal officials, he was also able to foster and maintain good relations with the Kingdom of Gowa. During his reign also showed very rapid progress, namely the kingdom of Agang Nionjo changed its name to the Kingdom of Tanete. The name change then led to the development of the kingdom in terms of the administration of the kingdom, besides that there were various nations in Tanete, including the Portuguese and Malays, he also ruled in the Tanete kingdom who raised the Palili (subordinate kingdom) of Tanete. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that during the reign of Petta To Mabburu Limanna he was able to show very rapid progress, namely the kingdom changed its name from Agang Nionjo to Tanete, then various nations came to Tanete and the first king to appoint Palili (subordinate kingdom) Tanete.Keywords: Government, Petta To Mabburu Limanna, Agang Nionjo
