Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the project-based learning ( PjBL ) model on the science process skills of Grade V students at SDN Bringinbendo II. The topic is the water cycle. This study uses a quantitative approach to the experimental method, with the type of research being one group pretest-posttest. The sample in this study was the elementary school SDN Bringinbendo II V-grade students, a total of 21 students. Data collection in this study was by using pretest and posttest question sheets in the form of essay questions with science process skills indicators. Data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test and Eta Squared. The results of the paired sample t-test hypothesis, sig. (2-Tailed) 0.000 <0.05, there is a significant effect (H1 is accepted, and H0 is rejected). The STEM-integrated Project Based Learning ( PjBL ) model affects the science process skills of class V students at SDN Bringinbendo II. In addition, it can be seen how much the increase in the results of the Eta Squared test got 0.508 in the pretest and 0.861 in the post-test. The post-test score has increased, and if t ≥ 0.14 indicates a large influence on the Influence of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Integrated Project Based Learning Model on the Science Process Skills of Grade 5 Elementary School Students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning based on ethnoscience on science literacy skills at SDN Bringinbendo 2. The Ethnoscience-based PBL model is a learning model that can develop students' scientific literacy abilities. This study used a quantitative approach with experimental methods with the type of research one group pre-test-post-test. The sample in this study was V-grade students at SDN Bringinbendo 2, which consisted of 21 students. Data collection in this study used a pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed using a hypothesis t-test and the Eta Squared test. The results of the research hypothesis test were t-sample t-test, Sig. (2-tailed) ie 0.00 <0.05 so there is a significant effect (H₁ is accepted and H₀ is rejected). So it can be seen that the ethnoscience-based PBL model influences the scientific literacy skills of class V at SDN Bringinbendo 2. In the results of the eta-squared test, there is an increase with a vulnerable score of t > 0.14, indicating an influence of the big one. Using the Ethnoscience-based PBL model can improve the scientific literacy skills of V-grade students.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of applying the PBL learning model on the reasoning abilities of fourth-grade elementary school students Muhammadiyah 1 Krian. Types of experimental research and using one group pre-test-post-test design method. The population in this study were 23 fifth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krian. The researcher used a saturated sampling technique because population sizes were small. Reasoning ability data was obtained from essay tests before and after the application of PBL. Then the study results were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and the N-Gain test using the SPSS version 26 software. The results of this analysis indicate the reasoning ability of the pre-test post-test results showed a significant difference between the average value of the pre-test (63.26) and post-test (82.74), and. those using the N-Gain test obtained an average of 0.52 which indicates the moderate category, so using this PBL learning model can affect the reasoning abilities of elementary school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to prove the influence of an integrated STEM project-based learning toward science literacy abilities students, given the low science literacy skills among elementary school students. A quasi-experimental quantitative approach was used to collect data on literacy abilities, using a test questionnaire as an instrument for data collection. The data was analyzed using independent sample t-tests and paired sample t-tests. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.03 < 0.05, which means that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. This indicates that students' science literacy abilities were better when they learned using the integrated STEM project-based learning model compared to the conventional model. Furthermore, the results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, which means that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, indicating that the implementation of the integrated STEM project-based learning model can improve students' science literacy abilities. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the integrated STEM project-based learning model is effective in improving students' science literacy abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Case Based Learning (CBL) learning model on the science literacy skills of fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krian. The research method used is the experimental method with the research design, namely the pre-experimental design and the type of research, namely the One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Data on the results of students' reasoning abilities were obtained through tests of essay questions before and after using the CBL learning model. The research results were analyzed using the N-Gain test with the help of SPSS software and Microsoft Excel. The results of the analysis using the N-Gain test obtained an average result of 0.47 which is included in the medium category. This shows that the CBL learning model can have a moderate effect on students' reasoning abilities.
