This research aims to explore the problems that have the potential of students' understanding during online learning by Covid 19, the researchers focus on obstacles in the student learning process such as network constraints, no quota and other related matters. Subjects in this study were fifth grade students of English study program. The research is used qualitative with descriptive approach in the process using Observation and Interview methods as the main way to obtain data where the results of this study classify the main problems that arise into 2 parts, namely; 1) There is a delay from the subject in participating in online class activities, 2) the lack of time and ability during the learning process either because they do not have sufficient understanding of the material or there are other activities or work that must be undertaken.

Pandemi covid-19 memberikan dampak yang sangat besar dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan terutama aspek pendidikan, dimana pembelajaran yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara konvensional harus dialihkan sepenuhnya pada pembelajaran daring (online). Untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran tersebut, dibutuhkan komponen-komponen pembelajaran lainnya seperti penggunaan media pembelajaran. Salah satu media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring (online) dimasa pandemi covid-19 adalah pengunaan teknologi aplikasi google classroom, dengan harapan dapat memudahkan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dan menyampaikan materi secara tepat dan akurat, sehingga pembelajaran akan lebih mudah. Namun dalam prosesnya, terkadang penggunaan aplikasi teknologi google classroom tidak berjalan efektif sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Sehingga perlu adanya kajian terkait bagaimana motivasi minat belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran melalui daring (online) dengan menggunakan aplikasi teknologi google classroom selama pandemi covid-19 sebagai bahan evaluasi dan langkah perbaikan dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa dan mengevaluasi penggunaan teknologi berbasis e-learning yaitu google classroom sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap motivasi minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dimasa Pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket (kuesioner) dan dokumentasi.

This study attempted to improve students’ achievement in writing descriptive text through picture word inductive model at SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong. This title got from the result of observation that the researcher found in SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong that many students have difficulties in writing descriptive text. Some of them do not have any ideas to write, when they have come with the idea, they do not know how to write in English. They also have difficulty in using the convention of English grammar. PWIM (Picture Word Inductive Model) is a model of study that uses pictures and words to stimulate students’ thinking inductively, from the specific thinking (looking at the picture and words) to general thinking (making the picture and the words that available become a sentence then a paragaph. By applying picture word inductive model, students can enrich their vocabularies while they identify the picture. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of this research was the students in grade VII-D SMP Negeri 3 Siborongborong. There was found that the students have low achievement in writing descriptive text. The research was conducted in two cycles. There were three meetings for each cycle. Based on the scores of writing test, it was found that students’ scores kept improving in every writing test. The students’ mean score in the first writing test was (46.57) and the students’ mean score in the second writing test was (67.10). Finally, the students’ mean score in the third writing test was (93.10).

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the method of bamboo dancing effectively in improving students speaking ability. This study applied in the class by experimental research. The population of this study was the students of the XI class at SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong. The total of number of population was 139, and 40 students from the population were taken as the sample by using simple cluster sampling, then they divided into two groups. The first group as the experimental group was taught by applying bamboo dancing method, while the second groups as the control group was taught without applying bamboo dancing method. The instrument used for collecting the data was test in form oral test based on the materials that has been taught in treatment. The test were divided into two; pre-test and post-test. The mean of control group is 220 (11) is lower than the mean of experimental group is 500 (25). The reliability of the test was 0,68. Based on the data tobserved (5,01) is higher than the ttable (2,71) on df 38 at the level of significance (0,01). The result of this study show that teaching speaking by bamboo dancing method is more significant than that without applying bamboo dancing method.

The use of technology in education has become a necessity in the current digital era. Especially for junior high school students, it is important to understand and utilize technology applications effectively in the learning process. This community service aims to develop a community service program that focuses on introducing and utilizing technology applications to improve junior high school students' learning. Methods for developing this program include literature study, field observations, and direct interaction with junior high school students and teachers. This community service program is designed to provide middle school students with an in-depth understanding of various technology applications that are relevant to their learning. Apart from that, this program also aims to train students in using these applications productively and creatively in a learning context. An interactive and participatory approach is implemented at every stage of the program, so that students not only become passive consumers of technology, but also become producers of educational content. Initial evaluation results show a positive response from students and teachers to this program. Students reported increased interest and motivation in learning, as well as increased understanding of subject matter through the use of technology applications. Meanwhile, teachers reported positive changes in student participation and involvement in the learning process. Thus, it is hoped that this community service program can become an effective model in introducing and utilizing technology applications to improve junior high school students' learning. The practical implication of this program is that there is an increase in students' digital skills and an increase in the quality of learning in the school environment.

In the ever-growing digital era, digital literacy and internet security awareness have become essential for students in facing the complex challenges of the digital world. This research aims to develop community service that focuses on strengthening digital literacy and internet security awareness in higher education environments. Through a collaborative approach between students, lecturers and campus administration, this program aims to build sustainable policies and practices to strengthen digital literacy and internet security awareness. Using a participatory methodology, the program engages students in a series of activities such as workshops, training and social campaigns to increase their understanding of key issues in digital literacy and internet security. Apart from that, this program also involves lecturers and campus administration in designing policies that support the integration of digital literacy in the academic curriculum and facilitate student access to relevant resources. It is hoped that the results of this program will create an educational environment that is safer and more responsive to digital challenges, so that students can become smarter and more responsible internet users. In addition, the experience gained from this program can become a basis for the development of similar initiatives in various higher education institutions, which will ultimately make a positive contribution to society as a whole in facing the ever-evolving digital era.

This research work aims at evaluating the importance of the introduction of spelling as a vocabulary strategy for students in the teaching of English as a foreign language at senior high school level, and how this can be a beneficial tool as input for the acquisition of new vocabulary, then a helpful means to produce a correct writing. To attain such an aim, the researcher administered a pre-test and a post-test. The former was intended to determine the pre-instructional knowledge of the graphic form of words, whereas the latter was aimed at finding out whether the spelling strategy implemented during instruction was effective in enhancing the subjects’ ability to write with less spelling mistakes. The test was interposed by two sequential lessons. The results of this innovative investigation have confirmed the hypothesis which states that if we train students to pay a careful attention to the form of words this would help them to spell them and write correctly. The learners under investigation proved to have learnt most of the vocabulary items of the proposed text.

The objective of the research to investigate The Comparison Between Parents’ Educational Background with Students’ Ability in Mastering English Vocabulary. The sources of the data for the subject were 40 students of SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong. The research take 25% as a sample. This research was use descriptive quantitative method. The data was obtained by administering the test. The data were process by applying test. It is found that the hypothesis is accepted. This implicit that the students’ who have high parents’ educational background is better than the low parents’ educational background.

Talking about the analysis of students' ability to understand the report text in the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 SIBORONGBORONG, where the research problem is “How is the student's ability to understand the report text at the reading level at SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong?”. The subjects of this study were SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong grade XI students, there were 8 classes consisting of 288 students and the author took 72 students as samples. From the data analysis, it was obtained that the students' abilities were at a moderate level, where students who obtained scores of more than 85.8 were only 13 students, between 69.41 - 85.8 were 41 students and students with low abilities or obtained scores less than 69.41 were 18 students. From these findings, the author concludes that, grade XI students do not have high abilities, and some of them cannot understand the report text well. As a result, the ability of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong is at a moderate level.

Vocabulary is a fundamental component in learning English, especially at the junior high school level. A strong vocabulary foundation supports students' skills in understanding, speaking, writing, and listening to English effectively. However, in reality, many junior high school students struggle to expand and retain the vocabulary they have learned. This community service activity aims to help junior high school students master English vocabulary through an interactive and enjoyable approach. The methods used in this activity include material delivery, educational games, the use of visual media, and direct practice within sentence and conversation contexts. The results of this activity show that students are more enthusiastic about learning, understand strategies that can be applied independently, and demonstrate improvement in actively using vocabulary. It is hoped that this activity can serve as a sustainable effort to enhance English competence among junior high school students.
