Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Image Media to Improve Essay Writing Descriptions Ability by Seventh Grade Students of SMP N 1 Paranginan with the total 175 students. The sampling uses a random sample technique, in class VII-A with a total of 30 students. The method use in this study is experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. The instrument is used Essay test. From the data processing the results of the pre-test were obtained with an average is 65, standard deviation = 6.94. Average post-test results = 77.66 and standard deviation = 8.17. From the test data the results of the pre-test and post-test obtained both results were normally distributed. Homogeneity test found that the sample of this study came from a homogeneous population. After the normality and homogeneity test, the value is 6.42 with ttable at a significant level of 5% with df = N-1 = 30-1 = 29 obtained a ttable value is 2.04. These results indicate the value of tcount is 6.42> 2.04, then the hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Then can be conclude that there is Effect of Image Media to Improve Essay Writing Descriptions Ability by Seventh Grade Students of SMP N 1 Paranginan in Academic Year 2018/2019.

Abstract

Tujuan dan rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah dengan pembelajaran matematika menyenangkan siswa (MMS) berbasis metode permainan mathemagic dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan kemandirian siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Siborong borong Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-1 sebanyak 36 siswa yang diambil dari jumlah populasi data dan dapat mewakili seluruh populasi dengan teknik pengumpulan sampel yaitu teknik random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket dengan teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan menggunakan uji regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.001 < 0.05 dan F hitung 5,366 > F tabel 3,295. Dengan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan kemandirian siswa secara simultan (bersamaan) terhadap variabel Y adalah sebesar 36%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan kemandirian siswa melalui pembelajaran matematika menyenangkan siswa (MMS) berbasis metode permainan mathemagic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of managing school operational assistance in optimizing learning media at SD N. 173330 Sibuntuon, Lintongnihuta District. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. Data analysis techniques by reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. This study uses source and technical triangulation as well as theory to find the validity of the data. The results of the research at SD N. 173330 Sibuntuon show that: 1) the strategy for managing school operational assistance in optimizing learning media is carried out with the stages of budget planning (budgeting), budget procurement, budget allocation (allocating), budget use by prioritizing media, learning materials and tools , make bookkeeping (accounting), supervision and accountability following the technical guidelines for BOS; 2) The problems of the school operational assistance management strategy are: a) teachers do not want to actively participate in the process of making RKAS, b) learning media that have been damaged by the time the fiscal year is running, c) lack of understanding of teachers about the technical guidelines for the use of BOS funds, d) some teachers cannot operate learning media, e) the ability of employees to repair damaged learning media. 3) Efforts to overcome the problems of managing School Operational Assistance are a) communication between teachers and the BOS treasurer, b) managing finances, prioritizing learning media that are more important and will be used soon, c) libraries add reading materials, d) provide guidance to teachers about how to use learning media.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan pondasi penting dalam pembangunan suatu bangsa karena kurikulum memegang peran krusial dalam menentukan kualitas pembelajaran. Namun, seringkali kurikulum yang digunakan cenderung homogen dan kurang memperhatikan kearifan lokal suatu daerah. Sementara itu, karya sastra melambangkan kearifan lokal dan dapat menjadi sumber pembelajaran yang kaya serta menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendekspripsikan pentingnya kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam karya sastra dalam meningkatkan kualitas kurikulum merdeka dengan menggunakan karya sastra sebagai materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan studi literatur eksploratif. Temuan penelitian menemukan bahwa dengan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran, generasi muda dapat lebih baik memahami, menghargai, dan mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya, menjaga eksistensi kearifan lokal sebagai landasan kuat pembentukan karakter dan identitas bangsa. Sehingga, melalui Kurikulum Merdeka yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal bermuatan karya sastra, generasi muda dapat tumbuh menjadi individu yang memiliki kedalaman pemahaman terhadap kearifan lokal, mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya, dan membangun karakter yang kuat dalam menghadapi masa depan

Abstract

Teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong are not fully prepared for the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in terms of pedagogy, learning structure, and preparation of teaching modules. Another crucial issue is the cultural identity crisis, where many teaching modules do not integrate Toba Batak's local wisdom, causing students to lose connection with their cultural heritage. In addition, the use of technology, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as Chat GPT, is still very minimal due to low technological literacy among teachers, which hinders the creation of more creative, relevant, and interactive teaching modules. This service aims to improve teacher competence in developing teaching modules using artificial intelligence (AI). The methods used include intensive training, educational technology workshops, and mentoring programs for teachers. The training results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of the local wisdom-based Merdeka Curriculum, with an average increase of 41% from pretest to posttest. The educational technology workshop also increased teachers' knowledge regarding using Canva and Gamma applications, with an average increase of 29%. Assessment of the teaching modules produced showed that all participants reached the minimum standard with an average score of 78, which shows the service's success in improving teacher abilities. Nevertheless, some teachers still need further assistance, especially in the aspects of learning design and evaluation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the method of bamboo dancing effectively in improving students speaking ability. This study applied in the class by experimental research. The population of this study was the students of the XI class at SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong. The total of number of population was 139, and 40 students from the population were taken as the sample by using simple cluster sampling, then they divided into two groups. The first group as the experimental group was taught by applying bamboo dancing method, while the second groups as the control group was taught without applying bamboo dancing method. The instrument used for collecting the data was test in form oral test based on the materials that has been taught in treatment. The test were divided into two; pre-test and post-test. The mean of control group is 220 (11) is lower than the mean of experimental group is 500 (25). The reliability of the test was 0,68. Based on the data tobserved (5,01) is higher than the ttable (2,71) on df 38 at the level of significance (0,01). The result of this study show that teaching speaking by bamboo dancing method is more significant than that without applying bamboo dancing method.

Abstract

This research discusses the formation of students' character and abilities through the integration of education and management. The main focus of this research is to explore how effective education management can integrate relevant curricula with students' character values and competencies. Through the integration-interconnection approach in curriculum policy, this study shows that education not only includes the mastery of knowledge, but also the development of balanced attitudes and skills. By implementing school-based management, schools can create synergies between curriculum development and learning practices that support the formation of students' character. This study uses a qualitative method with data analysis based on interviews, observations, and documentation to gain an in-depth understanding of the application of integration management in the context of education. The results show that collaboration between teachers, students, and parents is essential to achieve holistic educational goals, as well as produce students who are not only academically intelligent but also have strong character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan elemen dan nilai profil pelajar Pancasila yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat di Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara serta menganalisis relevansinya dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMP. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini, data cerita rakyat diperoleh melalui pengambilan sampel purposif. Data penelitian ini mencakup unsur dan nilai profil pelajar Pancasila dalam lima cerita rakyat yang berasal dari Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara. Para informan, dokumen cerita rakyat, dan tempat peninggalan adalah sumber data penelitian ini. Untuk validasi data, triangulasi sumber dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan melalui model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerita rakyat di Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara mengandung nilai pendidikan karakter yang sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan Kurikulum Merdeka, yaitu (1) beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan YME, dan berakhlak mulia; (2) berkebinekaan global; (3) bergotong royong; (4) mandiri; (5) berpikir kritis; dan (6) kreatif. Berdasarkan Kurikulum Merdeka, nilai profil siswa Pancasila dalam cerita rakyat di Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara relevan dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Ini sesuai dengan Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) kelas VII, yang menyatakan bahwa "Peserta didik mampu menuliskan dan menyajikan tanggapan terhadap teks fiksi yang dibacanya."

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain One Group Pretest Posttest di kelas X1 SMA Negeri 2 Dolok Sanggul dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 27 tahun pembelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis game edukasi menggunakan Wordwall dalam kemampuan menulis teks negosiasi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 tahun pembelajaran 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengujian hipotesis yang didapatkan thitung > ttabel yaitu 17.52 > 1,708. Jadi, hipotesis yaitu Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam pengunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis game edukasi menggunakan Wordwall oleh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Matiti Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan dampak positif dari media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis permainan edukatif terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa, sejalan dengan literatur yang lebih luas yang menganjurkan integrasi metode pengajaran yang inovatif dalam dunia pendidikan. Bukti menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan hasil belajar siswa, sehingga perlu dieksplorasi lebih lanjut dan diimplementasikan dalam pendidikan.
