Abstract

This research aims to investigate how social media, brand image and promotions influence sales of the Pelangi Batu Aji distro, Batam City. This population is taken based on the number of product sales in July 2023 which reached 186 consumers. In order to determine the sample, 127 respondents were selected using the Slovin formula method and sampling was carried out using simple random sampling. Data analysis in this research involves multiple linear regression, which includes data quality testing, classical assumption testing, influence testing, and hypothesis testing. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that social media factors have an influence of 20.4% on sales. Brand image has an influence of 32.5% on sales. Promotions have an influence of 11.5% on sales. In order to explain the extent to which these factors influence sales, coefficient of determination (R2) analysis is used. The results show that social media, brand image and promotion factors together explain 68.8% of the variation in sales of the Pelangi Batu Aji distro, Batam City. Furthermore, the results of the t test and F test confirm that social media, brand image and promotion have a positive and significant influence on sales of the Pelangi Batu Aji distro, Batam City.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of product quality, brand image, and word of mouth on the decision to purchase Herborist products. The independent variables studied are product quality, brand image, and word of mouth, while the dependent variable is purchasing decisions. The population of this research is all consumers of PT. Sukses Jaya Indah, Batam, the exact number of which is not known. The sample for this research consisted of 170 respondents using non-probability sampling techniques, namely saturated sampling. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires and data analysis. The results show that product quality has a significant influence on purchasing decisions, brand image has a significant influence on purchasing decisions and word of mouth has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Apart from that, research shows that product quality, brand image and word of mouth together (simultaneously) have a significant influence on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Kotak amal adalah suatu wadah prasarana infaq, sadaqah maupun sebagai wadah penyaluran aktivitas pembangunan tempat ibadah Masjid, tidak seperti dulu kotak amal hanya dapat dijumpai di tempat ibadah, saat ini kotak amal dapat dengan mudah dijumpai pada ruang-ruang publik namun kurangnya faktor pengawasan dan keamanan terhadap kotak amal, membuat terjadinya kejahatan pada kotak amal meliputi pencurian dan pembukaan paksa. Kemudian dengan memanfaatkan sistem berbasis Internet of Things yang dapat pemantauan dan mengendalian dari jarak jauh, diharapkan dapat mengurangi kejahatan terhadap kotak amal. NodeMCU ESP32 digunakan sebagai kendali keseluruhan komponen perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, Modul GPS untuk mengolah data lokasi, sensor getar sebagai tanda notifikasi apabila ada getaran dari kotak amal, Sensor buzzer sebagai tanda notifikasi dalam bentuk bunyi, dan RFID Sebagai keylook kotak amal menggunakan kartu. Pengujian dilakukan sebanyak 3x pengujian, pengujian pertama didapatkan keefektifan 90% dan nilai error sebesar 10%, dalam pembacaan lokasi, pengujian kedua respon time notifikasi didapatkan keefektifan akurasi 95% dan error sebesar 5%, pengujian terakhir respon time RFID didapatkan keefektifan akurasi 95% dan error 5%, Hasil pengujian sistem yang diterapkan langsung pada kotak amal menunjukkan dapat memudahkan user dalam pemantauan dibandingkan yang dilakukan secara manual.
