Abstract

This research aims to design and test equipment Solar Dryer and Bio Gas (APTMBG) based; 1) the influence of the angle and the angle concentrator peprindahan ribelts on the rate of heat that occurs in the solar thermal energy absorber channels and fish drying chamber, 2). surface roughness on absorbernya plate with the drying process using solar energy and drying with solar-biomass energyThe results showed that the drying of fish products using heat sources of biomass and gas have had advantages and disadvantages. The test results showed it by using solar thermal drying diruang temperatures average only reached 40-500C. The condition of maximum solar heat can not be achieved because at the time of data collection in August and September in the field occurred rainy season. While testing the use of heat from biomass (charcoal) and drying gas temperature in the drying chamber reaches an average of 50-700C. To dry salted fish which has a water content of 100% up to 10% takes 3-4 hours with mass consumption of biomass (charcoal) 2 kg.

Abstract

Radikal bebas merupakan satu faktor kontributor terjadinya penyakit degenerative. Antioksidan merupakan senyawa yang menghambat efek radikal bebas tersebut. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, ekstrak methanol daun Daun salam mempunyai efek antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efek antioksidan ekstrak ethanol 70% daun salam (Syzygium polyanthum (Wight)). Metode yang digunakan adalah uji invitro dengan metode DPPH (Diphenyl picrylhydrazyl). Ekstrak dilarutkan dalam ethanol, kemudian dibuat dalam seri konsentrasi 10, 30, 50 dan 70 ug/mL. Masing-masing seri sebanyak 10 ml. Dalam masing-masing larutan tersebut ditambahkan 1 ml larutan DPPH 1 mM. larutan kemudian diinkubasi pada suhu 37°C selama 30 menit. Panjang gelombang yang digunakan adalah 515 nm. Metanol dan DPPH 1mM digunakan sebagai blanko.Untuk pembanding digunakan butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) konsentrasi 2, 4, 6, 8 ug/mL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak ethanol 70% daun salam mempunyai efek antioksidan dengan IC 50 27,80 ug/mL.Kata kunci: daun salam (Syzygium polyanthum (Wight) , antioksidan, IC 50

Abstract

Environmental life cycle assessment ( LCA) terutama dikembangkan untuk menganalisis produk tetapi dapat juga diterapkan untuk treatment limbah padat dalam jumlah tertentu. Makalah ini membahas metodologi ketika LCA diterapkan untuk system manajement limbah padat. Isu yang dibahas adalah (1) daur ulang system terbuka yaitu perlakuan daurulang menjadi produk lain yang juga dapat menghasilkan energi. Dua hal penting yang jika harus membuat fungsi yang berbeda atau jika suatu system harus diperluas agar dapat mencakup beberapa fungsi. (2) Multi input allocataion: dalam proses pengolahan limbah, material yang berbeda sering tercampur. Dalam banyak aplikasi harus mempertimbangkan intervensi lingkungan dari proses perlakuan ke input material yang berbeda. (3) Waktu: emisi dari tempat pembuangan sampah akan berlangsung lama. Skema efektif diperlukan untuk desain, adaptasi dang mengoperasikan sistem yang terbak secara sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan dengan mempertimbangkan factor geografi. Perlu konsistensi dalam hal kualitas dan kuantitas bahan daur ulang, kompos atau energi, untuk mendukung pilihan model pembuangan dan keuntungan secara ekonomis, ini untuk menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan sampah terpadu harus diatur dalam skala besar berbasis regional. Skema menggabungkan daur ulang, pengomposan atau limbah untuk teknologi harus berorientasi pasar. Harus ada pasar untuk produk dan energi.Keywords:LCA, integrated waste management, recycling

Abstract

This article is based on a study which attempted to examine the effectiveness of the Picture Crossword Puzzle Game in teaching vocabulary. The purposes of this study are to describe the difference in students’ vocabulary mastery between those by using Picture Crossword Puzzle Game and conventional method (translation) and to describe the effectiveness of Picture Crossword Puzzle Game in teaching vocabulary. The research design used in this study was a Quasi-Experimental Research. The population of this research was the seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Patebon in the academic year of 2016/2017. The control group was the class of VII-G and the experimental group was the class of VII-H. The results show that from the pre-test, both control and experimental groups have the same mean scores, which is 68.44. After the treatment, there was an increase of mean score of both groups in post-test, which is 81.25 for the control group and 90.94 for the experimental group.The quantitative result shows that the t value is 4.182 and the t table is 1.999. Based on the statistic, it is concluded that there is a sifnificant difference in achievement between both groups. However, this statistic result is not that significant regarding the condition of both control and experimental groups. In other words, the Picture Crossword Puzzle Game has no significant effect on students’ vocabulary mastery. Yet, the result of the questionnaire shows that teaching vocabulary using Picture Crossword Puzzle game is interesting for the students. There are 91.8% students who give positive response to Picture Crossword Puzzle Game. In conclusion, the Picture Crossword Puzzle Game can be used to teach vocabulary because this game is interesting.

Abstract

This paper is written based on the error analysis on perception or production inpronouncing English sounds which have different distributions by the students ofSMP N 2 Demak in Academic Year of 2015/2016. The study was aimed to describeand to explain the most common problems faced by the students in learning Englishfinal voiced stops [b, d, g]. This study is using qualitative approach. The populationof the study was the eight grader students of SMP N 2 Demak. The total numbers ofthe population used in this research are 310. Random sampling technique was usedto get the sample. The data of this study was obtained from listening and speakingtests. The result of those tests were used as the source of data collection. Then, theresult was interpreted by using Tinambunan‟s criterion grading. In perception test,the error proportion of the 30 students was 6,07% while in the production test, theerror proportion was 28,2% out of 30 students. Based on the results, it is concludedthat the students were considered exellent in perceiving but fair in pronouncing finalvoiced stops [b, d, g].

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) jenis-jenis makanan, (2) proses pengolahan makanan, dan (3) teknik penyajian makanan khas Lombok yang diolah pada saat Begawe Merariq. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mengambil lokasi di Desa Kuta, Kecamatan Pujut, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Sumber informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala desa, tetua desa, epen gawe, dan agan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah metode observasi dan wawancara. Lembar observasi dan panduan wawancara digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara deksriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) jenis-jenis makanan khas Lombok yang diolah pada saat Begawe Merariq adalah mi atau nasi putih. Lauk-pauk berupa jangan atau daging. Sayuran berupa ares, nangke, cengeh. Jajanan berupa ore, renggi, peyeq, banget, cerorot, abuk, dan opak-opak, (2) proses pengolahan makanan khas Lombok pada saat Begawe Merariq menggunakan teknik direbus, dikukus, dan digoreng, (3) teknik penyajian makanan khas Lombok pada saat Begawe Merariq menggunakan piring, lomor, dan sador. Makanan pokok, lauk-pauk, dan sayuran disajikan dengan menggunakan piring, kemudian disusun dalam satu sador atau nampan. Teknik penyajian makanan sampingan berupa jajanan disusun dalam jembaq atau baskom yang dibawa oleh undangan yang datang betangko. Sementara teknik penyajian makanan sampingan berupa minuman teh dan kupi disajikan dalam lomor atau gelas kecil.Kata Kunci : kajian makanan, makanan khas Lombok, begawe merariq This study aimed to describe (1) the types of foods, (2) the food processing, and (3) techniques of food preparation Lombok typically processed at the time Begawe Merariq. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that took place in the village of Kuta, District Pujut, Central Lombok. Source informants in this study is the village head, village elders, Epen gawe, and agan. The method used to collect data is the method of observation and interviews. Sheets observation and interview guides used as a research instrument, while the descriptive data analysis is done qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that (1) the types of food Lombok typically processed at the time Begawe Merariq is noodles or white rice. Side dishes such as do or meat. Vegetables such as ares, nangke, cengeh. Snacks such as ore, renggi, peyeq, really, cerorot, Abuk, and opaque opaque, (2) processing of food Lombok when Begawe Merariq using techniques boiled, steamed and fried, (3) the techniques of food preparation Lombok at the time Begawe Merariq using plates, lomor, and Sador. Staple foods, side dishes, and vegetables served using a plate, then arranged in one Sador or trays. Presentation techniques such as side dishes or snacks prepared in jembaq basin carried by the invitation that came betangko.
