Abstract

This research aims to design and test equipment Solar Dryer and Bio Gas (APTMBG) based; 1) the influence of the angle and the angle concentrator peprindahan ribelts on the rate of heat that occurs in the solar thermal energy absorber channels and fish drying chamber, 2). surface roughness on absorbernya plate with the drying process using solar energy and drying with solar-biomass energyThe results showed that the drying of fish products using heat sources of biomass and gas have had advantages and disadvantages. The test results showed it by using solar thermal drying diruang temperatures average only reached 40-500C. The condition of maximum solar heat can not be achieved because at the time of data collection in August and September in the field occurred rainy season. While testing the use of heat from biomass (charcoal) and drying gas temperature in the drying chamber reaches an average of 50-700C. To dry salted fish which has a water content of 100% up to 10% takes 3-4 hours with mass consumption of biomass (charcoal) 2 kg.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian tindakan sekolah ini adalah: untuk mengetahui peningkatan kinerja kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik melalui supervisi manajerial pengawas sekolah dengan metode monitoring dan evaluasi di SMK Kota Binjai. Subjekpenelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah di SMK Kota Binjai berjumlah 5 orang kepalasekolah, yaitu SMK PABA Binjai, SMK YPIS Maju Binjai, SMK Swakarya Binjai, SMK Budi Utomo Binjai dan SMK Taman Siswa Binjai. Subjek ditentukan dengan cara purposive. Instrumen penelitian untuk meningkatkan kinerja kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik digunakan lembar observasi dengan jumlah butir sebanyak 21. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian adalah penilaian kinerja kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik terhadap guru. Pada prasiklus, kinerja kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik masih rendah yaitu 35,24%, setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan menjadi 64,76%, tetapi belum memenuhi kriteria 80% yang diharapkan, setelah dilakukan upaya perbaikan supervisi manajerial metode monitoring dan evaluasi pada siklus II, maka terjadi peningkatan menjadi 87,62% dengan kategori baik. Pada siklus II seluruh responden (kepala sekolah) telah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan yaitu > 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan pada siklus I dan siklus II dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik dapat ditingkatkan melalui supervisi manajerial pengawas sekolah dengan metode monitoring dan evaluasi di SMK Kota Binjai. Penerapan supervisi manajerial melalui metode monitoring dan evaluasi dapat membantu tugas kepala sekolah dalam penyusunan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut supervisi akademik terhadap guru dalam rangka peningkatan profesionalisme guru di sekolah yang dibinanya. Kepala sekolah diharapkan agar meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kinerjanya dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik baik dalam penyusunan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut supervisi akademik terhadap guru dalam rangka peningkatan profesionalisme guru di sekolah yang dibinanya.Kata Kunci: Kinerja Kepala Sekolah, Supervisi, Monitoring dan Evaluasi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas pembimbing skripsi mahasiswa oleh dosen pembimbing di lingkungan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey eksploratif terhadap kinerja dosen pembimbing skripsi, sebagai bahan masukan untuk pengembangan pedoman penulisan skrpsi dan upaya peningkatan kualitan pembimbingan skripsi. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang sedang dalam pembimbingan skripsi dan alumi. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan angket penilaian kinerja dosen dalam pembimbingan skripsi. Jumlah sampel yang telibat sebanyak 269 responden. Teknik analisis data digunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Ketersediaan buka pedoman penulisan skripsi sangat membantu kelancaran pelaksanaan pembimbingan baik bagi dosen maupun mahasiswa, (2) Pola pembimbingan secara umum telah dilaksanakan secara rutin dan terjadwal melalui kegiatan tatap muka, korespondensi, dan melaui email, (3) Hasil analisis data dari tiga aspek penilaian diketahui bahwa aspek kedisiplinan sebesar 74% dalam kategori cukup disiplin, aspek kompetensi profesionalisme dosen sebesar 77% dalam kategori cukup kompeten, dan aspek kompetensi sosial dan kepribadian sebesar 66% dalam kategori cukup kompeten. Rekomendasi yang disampaikan adalah perlunya komitmen jadwal pelaksanaan pembimbingan sehingga masing-masing memiliki tanggung jawab untuk melakukan kegiatan pembimbingan secara terjadwal.

Abstract

ABSTRAKGreen House Display yang berlokasi di Cibinong, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat merupakan sebuah bangunan rumah kaca (greenhouse) yang dibangun untuk mendukung pelestarian dan perbanyakan plasma nutfah tumbuhan potensial Indonesia. Greenhouse tersebut juga berperan dalam memperkenalkan keanekaragaman hayati Indonesia dan mempercepat penyebaran ilmu hayati strategis ke masyarakat. Bangunan tersebut memiliki design yang unik, berbentuk seperti bunga Rafflesia Arnoldi, dan memiliki dua kelopak atau dome. Material bangunan tersebut menggunakan beton dan baja yang di mana material baja digunakan untuk atap sedangkan material beton untuk komponen struktur lainnya seperti kolom, balok, dan pelat lantai. Seiring berjalannya proses pembangunan, terdapat beberapa perubahan design dari rencana awal Detail Engineering Design (DED), karena kebutuhan di lapangan dan faktor keamanan dari bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara rencana design awal dan realisasi di lapangan, untuk keperluan analisis, peneliti menggunakan software Tekla Structural Designer. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan software Tekla Structural Designer, terdapat perbedaan dari realisasi di lapangan dengan Detail Engineering Design (DED).  Perubahan tersebut terdapat pada kolom K15 pada area tengah dome utama dan penambahan balok pada bagian Ramp dome utama. Pada rencana awal (DED) kolom K15 yang merupakan kolom freestanding, terdapat perubahan design yang terealisasi di lapangan, kolom tersebut dihubungkan oleh balok dan pelat lantai guna untuk menambah kekuatan struktur. Perubahan selanjutnya terjadi pada Ramp dome utama yang ditambahkan balok pada kedua sisi pelat lantai Ramp yang berfungsi untuk meredam getaran. Kata kunci: Green House Display, Analisis perbandingan, Tekla Structural DesignerABSTRACTThe Green House Display, located in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, is a greenhouse building built to support the preservation and propagation of Indonesia's potential plant germplasm. The greenhouse also plays a role in introducing Indonesia's rich culture and accelerating the dissemination of life science strategies to the public. The building has a unique design, shaped like a Rafflesia Arnoldi flower, and has two petals or a dome. The building materials use concrete and steel where steel material is used for roofs while concrete material is used for other structural components such as columns, beams, and floor plates. As the development process progresses, there are several design changes from the initial Detail Engineering Design (DED) plan, due to field requirements and the safety factor of the building. This study aims to determine the comparison between the initial design plan and the realization in the field. For analysis purposes, researchers use the Tekla Structural Designer software. From the results of the analysis using the Tekla Structural Designer software, there are differences from the realization in the field of Detail Engineering Design (DED). These changes are found in the K15 column in the center area of the main dome and the addition of beams in the main Ramp dome. In the initial plan (DED) of the K15 column which was a freestanding column, there was a design change that was realized in the field, the column is connected by beams and floor slabs to increase the strength of the structure. Subsequent changes occurred in the main Ramp dome which added beams on both sides of the Ramp floor plate which functioned to dampen vibrations.Keywords: Green House Display, Comparative analysis, Tekla Structural Designer

Abstract

BOP PAUD management is part of education financing management. District education office has an important role in managing education funding, including BOP PAUD. The purpose of this qualitative research to provide information about the role of the district education office in the management of BOP PAUD, as well as to find challenges and obstacles as well as efforts made. It uses case study method. Data and information is collected by interview, participant observation and document study. The results inform that the role of the District Education Office in managing BOP PAUD is in the internal control system, outreach and education, monitoring and evaluation and validation of PAUD unit data. The challenges and obstacles are limited human resources, changes in the flow of information and digitalization that are very fast, weak coordination and lack of managerial capacity. Efforts are being made to overcome challenges and obstacles, by building a solid team, placing staff according to their competence, intelligent communication, and upholding discipline. Following up on the findings in this study, the District Education Office requires an internal agency and regional government policy to regulate the management of BOP PAUD. Also, increasing the human resource capacity of the District Education Office as an effort to improve excellent education services.

Abstract

Kelelahan kerja termasuk suatu kelompok gejala yang berhubungan dengan adanya penurunan efisiensi kerja, keterampilan serta peningkatan kecemasan atau kebosanan. Kelelahan kerja ditandai oleh adanya perasaan lelah, output menurun, dan kondisi fisiologis yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas yang berlebihan.Kelelahan akibat kerja juga sering kali diartikan sebagai menurunnya performa kerja dan berkurangnya kekuatan atau ketahanan fisik tubuh untuk terus melanjutkan yang harus dilakukan. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada perawat yang bekrja di rumah sakit umum sinar husni tahun 2021 untuk mengetahui hubungan usia, jenis kelamin, status gizi, masa kerja, shift kerja dan beban kerja dengan kelalahan kerja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kuantitatif Deskriptif dengan pendekatan desain cross sectional untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variabel bebas (independent variabel), Populasi dalam penelitian  ini adalah seluruh perawat di RSU Sinar Husni Tahun 2021 Medan sebanyak 67 karyawan. Metode pengambilan Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitain ini yaitu Total sampling.  Dengan demikian jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 67 perawat di RSU Sinar Husni. Kelelahan pekerja diukur dengan menggunakan. Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan nilai p value sebesar 0.002 antara faktor umur dengan kelelahan, nilai p value sebesar 0.007 antara faktor jenis kelamin dengan kelelahan , nilai p value sebesar 0.128 antara faktor status gizi (IMT) dengan kelelahan, nilai p value sebesar 0.022 antara faktor masa kerja dengan kelelahan, nilai p value sebesar 0.019 antara faktor shift kerja dengan kelelahan, dan nilai p value sebesar 0.000 antara faktor beban kerja dengan kelelahan. Dimana p< 0.05 yang berarti adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara usia, jenis kelamin, masa kerja shift kerja dan beban kerja dengan kelelahan. Sementara status gizi tidak memiliki hubungan yang bermakna terhadap kelelahan. Disarankan agar perawat sering berolahraga dan minum vitamin yang dapat meningkatkan stamina serta daya tahan tubuh, mengupgrade ilmu pengetahuan dengan mengikuti seminar yang dimadakan didalam maupun diluar rumah sakit, untuk pihak rumah sakit untuk dapat mengurangi jam kerja shift malam dan memperpanjang shift pagi dan mengupgrade alat – alat rumah sakit dengan yang lebih baik dan efektif sehingga dapat mengurahi beban kerja pada perawat. Kata kunci : Faktor Resiko, Usia, Jenis Kelamin, Status Gizi, Masa Kerja, Shift Kerja, Bebankerja, Kelelahan KerjaWork fatigue is a group of symptoms associated with decreased work efficiency, skills and increased anxiety or boredom. Work fatigue is characterized by feelings of tiredness, decreased output, and physiological conditions resulting from excessive activity. Work-related fatigue is also often interpreted as decreased work performance and reduced physical strength or endurance to continue what must be done. This research was conducted on nurses working at Sinar Husni General Hospital in 2021 to find out the relationship between age, gender, nutritional status, length of service, work shifts and workload with work fatigue. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative study with a cross-sectional design approach to analyze the relationship between the independent variables. The population in this study were all nurses at Sinar Husni Hospital in 2021 Medan, with a total of 67 employees. The sampling method used in this research is total sampling. Thus the number of samples in this study were 67 nurses at Sinar Husni General Hospital. Worker fatigue is measured using. The results of the chi square test showed a p value of 0.002 between age and fatigue, a p value of 0.007 between sex and fatigue, a p value of 0.128 between nutritional status (BMI) and fatigue, a p value of 0.022 between factors work period and fatigue, the p value is 0.019 between the work shift factor and fatigue, and the p value is 0.000 between the workload factor and fatigue. Where p < 0.05 which means there is a significant relationship between age, gender, shift work period and workload and fatigue. While nutritional status does not have a significant relationship with fatigue. It is recommended that nurses often exercise and take vitamins that can increase stamina and endurance, upgrade knowledge by attending seminars held inside and outside the hospital, for the hospital to be able to reduce working hours for the night shift and extend the morning shift and upgrade equipment - hospital tools with better and more effective so as to reduce the workload on nurses.Keywords: Risk Factors, Age, Gender, Nutritional Status, Years Of Service, Work Shifts, Workload,  Work Fatigue.

Abstract

The research aims to accomplish three main things: first, to create a model for academic supervision that uses Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and website media to improve the professional competence of Santa Lusia Kindergarten teachers in Keuskupan Agung Medan. Second, to determine if the model can be implemented and evaluated in this educational setting. Third, to implement and evaluate the model. Making sure the model is feasible and usable in the real world is the main goal of the study. The result show that ICT-based academic supervision model that was developed proved effective in improving the professional competence of teachers at TK Santa Lusia. The N-Gain test results in cycle II, which reached 0.723 (72.34%), demonstrated the model's effectiveness, although it slightly decreased from cycle I (73.30%). With N-Gain values ranging from 46.15% to 88.89%, the model consistently provided significant improvements in teacher competence. The results indicate that the model effectively enhances teacher professional competence at Santa Lusia Kindergarten in Keuskupan Agung Medan.

Abstract

Currently, pyrolysis is the primary choice for addressing the significant problems caused by plastic waste. Temperature and catalysts are the main parameters in pyrolysis. However, using catalysts can become a serious problem when scaling up production capacity, as the process can become more complex and expensive due to the high cost of catalysts. Without a catalyst, the required pyrolysis temperature must be sufficiently high to achieve high-quality pyrolytic fuel oil. In this work, plastic grocery bag is pyrolyzed followed by distillation to produce a liquid similar to conventional fuel, called distillate plastic fuel. Non-catalyst and low-temperature pyrolysis was performed at a single temperature of 350 °C, followed by distillation at temperatures of 250 °C and 350 °C to determine the effect of distillation temperature on the chemical properties of the obtained distilled fuel. Elemental and composition analyses were conducted using the GCMS method. Results indicated that the chemical properties and composition of distilled plastic fuel are similar to diesel fuel with a heating value of approximately 43.362 to 44.364 MJ/kg.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to examine the significant impact of principal leadership, school climate, and achievement motivation on teachers' work commitment in two private high schools in Medan. A quantitative research design was employed, using a descriptive correlational approach. The research involved all teachers from the two private high schools, consisting of 56 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed path analysis, validity tests, questionnaire reliability tests, linearity tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The hypothesis testing results revealed the following: (1) Principal leadership has a direct impact on teachers' work commitment in the two private high schools in Medan; (2) School climate has a direct impact on teachers' work commitment in these schools; (3) Achievement motivation also has a direct effect on teachers' work commitment; and (4) Principal leadership, school climate, and achievement motivation collectively exert a direct influence on teachers' work commitment in the two schools. The findings demonstrate that principal leadership, school climate, and achievement motivation together have a significant positive impact on teachers' work commitment. This implies that enhancing teacher performance in these schools can be achieved through strong principal leadership, a supportive school climate, and increased achievement motivation among teachers.

Abstract

Produk Gula semut aren organik (GSAO) merupakan komoditi yang sangat diminati dipasar nasional dan insternasional. Pengembangan teknologi pengering sangat diperlukan untuk mendapatkan kualitas GSAO yang dapat memenuhi standar pasar. Mesin pengering jenis rak yang dimiliki mitra kelompok tani jati rejo-1 (KTJR-1) belum memenuhi standar teknis pengering. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) bertujuan penerapan ilmu dan ahli teknologi dalam pengembangan teknologi pengeringan rotary drying machine (RDM) untuk meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas produk GSAO. Metode pelaksanaan PKM mencakup survei, observasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta analisis mesin pengering jenis rak yang ada di mitra. Hasil rancangan mesin dan perpindahan panas dapat dijadikan dasar oleh mitra dalam fabrikasi sebuah mesin pengering dengan menerapkan prinsip perpindahan panas yang effisien untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi produksi GSAO.
